Fun and easy ways to
 review vocabulary
3. HOW TO REVIEW
            VOCABULARY

 We may use five or ten minutes each session to review
 vocabulary through a word wall and games.

• 3.1.Word Walls
• 3.2. Games
3.1. Word Wall
• We can have different
  word walls in the
  classroom to review also
  previously taught units.
3.2. Games
• True or false
 Show the flashcard and say a statement. Students have to
 say “true or false”. Encourage them to correct the false
 one.
• Information gap
  In pairs children have to talk to each other to complete
  their worksheet.
• Noughts and crosses
  Draw a grid on the board. Split the class into two groups
  and play noughts and crosses.
• Bingo
• Hangman
Guess the picture
Either the teacher or a student starts drawing a picture.
The rest has to guess as soon as possible.


Miming
A child mimes somethig related to the topic and the rest
of the students have to guess it.

 Use different prompts for this game
according to your needs.
Memory game
Place the cards facing down on a table. Players choose
two cards and if they make a pair (word and picture) they
keep them.
