Strengths
◦ The planning was detailed and well though

Weaknesses
o Some of the plans I made in the
PowerPoint weren’t used in the final
product.

What I would do better the next time is that if
I did, I format plan for a video a would do
multiple to see which one best fits

Strengths
o A strength is that I covered a wide verity of
factual video talking about easter eggs.
o I had a clear understanding of what I learnt
from the research and how I was going to
implement it.
o I had biobibliography of every research
piece.
Weaknesses
o I only covered a small amount of factual
videos.
Thing I would improve if I had
more time
One thing I would improve if I hade more
time would be to look at more factual videos
to gain and even better understanding of the
media, I would make for my video.

be to look at more existing products like the
one I would make to help give me a better
understanding but also help me make my
product even better.

Strengths
o I was very detailed in how a made my
experiment.

o I only did one experiment as doing two or
three may have been more helpful to my

Strengths
◦ A strength of my production was the way I
was able to match up my audio with the in-
game avatar to make it look like they were
saying what I was saying.
Weaknesses
o A weakness of my production was I lost
track of the production diary and after I
had finished the video, I had to
streamline the diary explanation of my
production on the video.
Thing I would improve if I had
more time
What I would improve if I had more time
would be to go back and wright some more
into my production dairy in detail on how I
made my video.
What I will do better the next time
What I will do better next time will be to keep
a better eye on my production diary so I can
fill it with needed information of how I made
my product.
6. Main video/final product
What I like about my
product
What I liked about my product was the
way I was able to sync up the head
bobbing of my character with the audio I
recorded creating the illusion that my
character is say what Is played in the audio
instead of a disembodied voice I am also
particularly proud of the thumbnail I made
for the video as I feel it give of a sense of
creativity and shows clearly what the video
topic would be about.
What I feel I could have
improved
What I feel I could've improved about my
product were the explanation of the
easter eggs as I feel some drag on a bit
and some don’t explain well enough or
are confusing and to improve it, I would
go back to those part and if its two long
streamline and shorten the explanation
and the one that I feel don’t explain
enough I would go back and record and
add more information.
Critical reflection
What skills, techniques and ways of working have you used? One skill and technique I learned was the speed option for footage as I used
it to speed up or slow down footage within my video for my explanations of easter eggs which I feel helped streamline the video to be
shorter and less boring for the viewer. Have you pushed yourself or did you play too safe? with this project I feel like I pushed myself as I
had to record footage of over multiple game from different generation of gaming for the footage, I needed for my video and drawing the
thumbnail for the video. What else do you want to learn as a result of this experience? what I want to learn is the best way to tell when
one fact my need cutting down and which may need more information. How did the project go for you? I feel that the project went well
for me, but I feel there is room to improve it. How can this be useful in future? This can be useful in the future as it can serve as a
reminder on how to speed up footage if I ever need to use that edit again.

Initial thoughts
I found the video to be enjoyable and very informative with clear and easy to understand directions on how to find the easter
eggs.
What you liked
• the way the footage of your avatar syncs with what you
are saying.
• The wide range of game you covered.
• The detail explanations.
What you disliked
• some explanation dragged out a bit
• Some edit didn’t flow as well
Thing you would improve
What I would improve would be to go back to the video
and redo some edits in the video to help it flow better but
also shorten some of the explanations.

Differences
• My video focuses on easter eggs found through out the halo
franchise whilst halo cannons video focuses on hidden power
weapons found in halo 5.
• My video has a draw title card halo canons video has an animated
title card.
• My video use my in-game avatar for certain section whilst halo
cannons video had him as a disembodied voice for the whole
video
similarity’s
• The theme of both our videos is that of
halo.
• Both videos are used to inform other
oh hidden secrets found in video
games.
