1. The Mandalorian season 2 review series episode 7

Hey there everyone and welcome back to our review series of the Mandalorian season 2 –
episode 7 chapter 15 the believer only 2 more episodes left let see if john and foloni can
keep up the great work to the end so lets see shall we by diving in.
So our episode begin in the caraphone chop yards were new republic prisoners are serving
their time dismantling old imperial equipment as we cut to one of the prisoner called
mayfeld were a new republic security droid comes up and tell him to salute marshal cara
Dunn as he is being taken into her custody to which they walk to boba fett ship and
daammmmm boba that new paint coat on your armour looking fresh, anyways mayfeld
back of a bit at first confusing boba for Mando only for Mando to show up from behind
boba and I think mayfild may needs some new pants, so they get onto slave one and tell
mayfeld he will be assisting in tracking down moff Gideon to which he doesn’t want to do
but realises he doesn’t have a choice so he tells the group they only find the information on
moff Gideon whereabout on the hidden imperial mining facility on morak which they can
access to a terminal there to get the location of moff Gideon, so they punch in the
coordinates and are of to morak during which boba tell the group that the empire is mining
rhydonium a very explosive and volatile substance but also there are anti air gun protecting
the mining facility so they wont be able to fly into the base, so when they land on morak
they begin formulating a plan where mayfeld tells the group that the terminals have face
scanners that can tell if your with the new republic or are wanted by the empire so fennec
and cara can’t go as one wanted by the empire and the other is a Marshall for the new
republic and boba can’t go as he says they might recognise his face as he is a clone of jango
fett so its agreed that mayfeld and mando will infiltrate the base and after cara takes out
the drivers of a juggernaut and take their armour and begin driving towards the imperial
mining facility during which they drive past a village and mayfeld go into a philosophical
discussion on how everyone has a line they won’t cross until they have to until the
conversations get cut off when other juggernaut call in and start getting picked off one by
one and the problem is Mando and mayfeld can’t double time it to the base as they have to
drive slowly and carefully or the ryhdonium will become unstable and explode as a group of
pirates then appear and try to get aboard to place thermal detonators on the juggernaut to
blow it up to which Mando get on top of the juggernaut and start cleaning house until a
larger group of pirates show up that’ll over whelm Mando until tie fighter show up and blow
the pirate away with imperial storm troopers clearing up the stragglers to which mayfeld
and Mando then get inside the facility and are cheered as hero’s for their successful delivery
of the ryhdonium to which they then start heading for the terminal until mayfeld spot an old
superior of his and refuses to go in for fear of being recognised and tells Mando he’ll have to
do it and at first mando go’s to the terminal and keeps his helmet on whilst it tries to scan
his face but fails with him eventually taking it off showing his face and getting the
information only to be stopped by mayfelds old commander demanding to know what
Mando’s designation and tk number is and Mando just freezes having a hard time answering
the questions requiring mayfeld to swop in and save Mando by saying that the officer will
have to speak up as Mando lost his hearing when his vessel lost pressure with the officer

2. eventually demanding the two sit and have a drink with him to celebrate them being the
only one to deliver the rhydonium successfully whilst cara and fenec keep watch outside
only for the imperial officer to get really disturbing and creepy with him praising all the
wrong thing empire has done and even killing its own soldier in operation cinder for the
sake of what they call order, resulting in mayfeld shooting the officer through the chest
killing him, requiring Mando and mayfeld to shoot their way out to escape eventually being
picked up by boba Fett in slave one after cara and fence take out the anti-air gunners and
mayfeld shoots one of the ryhdonium tank blowing the mining facility sky high only to be
chased by the two tie fighter from earlier which boba take out with a seismic charge, then
meeting up with cara and fennec and cara deciding to let mayfeld go claiming he died in the
explosion with Mando telling cara they have the coordinate and they blast off to go get
grogu back with the scene cutting to moff Gideon cruiser of him receiving a message form
Mando quoting the exact same line he said to Mando back in season one basically saying I’m
coming for ya.
And that was the Mandalorian episode 7 the believer and I have to say I give this episode a
rating of a 9/10 as the action was create the actor put in some really good performances did
a wonderful job playing their role especially Pedro Pascel and the scene with the imperial
officer which harkens back to legends empire being filled with psychopaths that could make
your skin crawl making the hero’s victory even sweeter over them seriously look up the stuff
they’ve done in legends you could see why people feared the empire when it was in power,
so I have to say I have high hopes for the season finally.
