5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
There's a repetition in colours for example pink, beige also black and white
because it shows maturity that I want the magazine to look like. Image style is
minimalist by having a colour as a background then someone in the middle
with the name of the magazine at the top. The font is in capitals can be bold
or thin font by it not having a lot of stuff on the cover by having something
bold it can make it stand out a lot more by the title. The mood in the pictures
I am choosing is calm and clean making it minimalist kind of style I want.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my final product by going back to the slide to
see if mine is similar in anyway by having the one colour in the background
and someone in the middle wearing some type of clothing that pops out so
people know the magazine is about fashion.

6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept A magazine cover that has minimalist stuff on it with someone in the middle wearing
something fashionable because its about fashion, preferably want the background to
either be beige or a light pastel pink colour to make the model stand out the most.

Different magazines to see which one look the best or the way I want it too look like for
example if I made one and I wasn’t so keen on like the text I could make another one to
see what other types of texts would look the best or the colour of the background to fit
the minimalist style I'm wanting to do.

Either sketch it the way I want it to look like so I have a brief idea so when I come to
actually doing it, it will be on the computer on Photoshot to get rid of things that might
not look that good or what I'm going for.
Audience The age I’m going for is 18-25 young adults, the reason for this is because I want to
design something that people might want to see or wear that a younger people for
example children/teenagers might not be interested in seeing as they might not care
about the way they look. Where with young adults they’re more interested in the way
they look so a magazine about fashion will make them feel confident in what they wear
and about themselves.

Photography Reason why I didn’t pick photography is
because I feel like it will take a lot of
patience to get the right picture you like or
the way you want it. Also might not be able
to get to the location you want as it might
be far away.
T-Shirt The reason why I didn’t pick the t-shirt idea
is because i feel like the idea I was going for
was too simple how it was just a coloured
top with a simple catch phrase and I wanted
something more challenging to do and more
interesting then just tops.
