The document outlines Hayden's initial plans for a personal game project. It includes three initial game ideas mapped out in a mind map: 1) an adventure game with green, brown, and darker colors set outdoors for an audience aged 7-17; 2) a puzzle game with brighter colors set in sunlight for an audience aged 10-18; and 3) an action game with dark nighttime colors for an audience aged 15-20. Hayden's current idea is for an adventure game where the player collects hearts, food, and water while avoiding spikes and enemies to find treasure. The characters will be people on an adventure.

are on an adventures and
they are trying to find
something like treasure or
something like that
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
The colour blue, brown, purple and green are repeated in most of the images.
Most of the image style are like pixel art.
The fonts are like bubble writing and big.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my final product because it has given me some ideas for my
final product what I can then make something a bit different and make it my own and I can
design a logo to fit my game
I would try to take some of the images and put them into my work like the little items and
use them for my food and water and maybe the spikes and the blue for some of my
backgrounds and use darker colours.
7. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The game is going to be an adventure game and the aim of the game is to find
treasure and there is going to be a few things that get in the way like spikes and
enemies, and you will have to get food and water along the way or you will dies and
you will have about 5 lives and if you loose all your lives you will have to start again.
Type of
products you
would make
• The types of product I will make is an adventure game demo
• Background music
• Merchandise for the game that is coming out
• Leaflets advertising the game
What you will
need to make
them
I will need to use photoshop to make my pixel art game and I will also need to use
premier pro to put some sound into it.
I would also need font websites so I could trace over them
I can use some websites like beatbox or find something on the internet for the
background music for my game.
Audience The audience will be people aged 7-18 boys and girls because it is an adventure
game and there will be a boy character and a girl character and it will be made for 18
and younger I will make it child friendly and I will do this by not making any of it
really gory.
8. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Game idea 2
(Puzzle game)
• I didn’t choose this project because I
didn’t think that It would be as fun to
make then the idea one that I have
chosen.
• Another reason why I didn’t choose this
one because I didn’t think that a puzzle
game would be fun for people who are
10-18 because I think that they would
think it was boring and they wouldn’t
play it.
Game idea 3
(Action game)
• I didn’t choose this one because I didn’t
really know how to make an action game
look good and I didn’t really have a
strong idea on how to make it good so I
choose the game idea 1.
