2. Initial Reaction
Producing a game to me is a very interesting thing to pursue hence I some times play games quite
regularly and also have only made two other video game before for my level 2 project last year and I have
also experimented in this year, so I am excited to make a video game because I haven't made many and
would like to develop my skills within the medium of video game production.
I could potentially make a game within Photoshop via animation that has elements of puzzle, adventure &
action because I have the ability to create games within these genre's within Photoshop and also I would
have more of a drive to create these games over other game type, which thus, allows me to build-up
positive momentum and determination when formulating my final game product, prior to and in
production which would enhance the optimization of me creating the best game I could since I would be
creating something that I would be more into.
Although I haven't used Photoshop's animation tools very much at all, I have a pretty good general
knowledge of more of the tools within Photoshop, which makes going through the production process of
making the final product easier hence I don't have to think too much about how to use the tools in
photoshop at the same time as doing an animation, which would probably allow me to execute the
formulation of the final product better than if I didn’t know the software, which will be good for me in the
long term because not only will it allow me to potentially make better work but it would also allow me to
save time for my evaluation and reflections of my final product, thus enabling me to transcribe more detail
into text within the power points about the various different elements within the game project.

6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Within my mood board there is repeated fire/explosion colours (yellow, orange & red) to reflect the amount of lava,
muzzle flashes & explosions there will be within my final game that I will be producing for my final product.
• Textures is a common image that used within my mood board because for my final game I plan to use various
textures and colours within different level so that my final game doesn’t look dull and so that each level has
differences in texture and colours so that there not all the same.
• There is also a repition in the grass floors of the backgrounds of a few images because since grass is such a common
and relatiable flooring within video games ive deicded that I will use it in at least one level of my final game because
it can look quite good and most people can relate to the texture.
• Importantly, there is repitition of a running animation because when animating a run/walk or most movemnts within
Photoshop, it can take multiple different images (layers) to create at least something that resebles that of a run,
which is why it was nessisary for me to have repition of movement within my mood board.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my final produce by allowing me to reflect on the mood on the topic I will be pursuing for
this project which will enable me to develop futher ideas ontop of already existing ideas of what I want to apply to my
final product, which will allow me to extent my creative potential when producing my video game which is very helpful for
me because it allows me to optimize my ideas that I could use within my game which set myself up, if I correctly use my
mood board as insparation correctly, to not run out of ideas and a lot gain more fantastic and less run-of-the-mill ideas
that I can use for my final product.
Since there is a great deal of information within my mood board, it is a great referance point if I ever forget an element to
my final project or if I want a brainstorm because a mood board is a great structure to build of if you want to find some
new and more origional ideas, which can allow the opportunity to allow yourselve to creat a product that is potentially
better as a product if it has elements with its entertainment which people havent seen before because the buyers of
entertainment products are always looking for products that have a fresh and/or underground style that excerts

animations so that the overall premier
