Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai
At Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, we believe that there is no substitute for ‘Education Through Action’ and
that exploring people, places, cultures, economic opportunities, and technological advancements through travel, complements and
completes the educational experience. This philosophy matches our endeavour to create responsible and dynamic global leaders
and global citizens by bringing the knowledge of the world to the classroom as well as encouraging students to go out into the world.
These two methods are critical to create the three pillars of global citizenship based on empathy, understanding and International
collaboration.
In line with this mission, our students recently journeyed to USA under a program titled EdTerra’s East Coast Space Adventure. We
chose this program for its focus on exposing students to space exploration and technology at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. They
also visited historic, natural and modern marvels of Niagara Falls, Boston and New York City. To augment the broader program, we
selected the Young Authors Program, which ensured students’ engagement and immersion. This Student Travel Chronicle is an
outcome of this collaborative and exploratory module that our students partook in, along with the students of St. Mira’s Secondary
School, Pune, and St. Peter’s School, Panchgani. It captures the entire journey in the students’ own words and photographs. It even
showcases their learning from the intense, ten day journey to one of the world’s most successful democratic nations.
I would also like to recognize the efforts of EdTerra Edventures; a company that is well aware of co-curricular and extra-curricular
goals and developmental needs of students. We acknowledge the contribution of their staff, especially their on-journey educator, the
Journey Mentor and Visa Assistance Services. Their professionalism has resulted in an effortless, safe and enriching travel experience
for each one of us and for the group.
Lastly, we extend a heartfelt thanks to the students, who participated in the program enthusiastically. Our willing learners had an
experiential learning experience and the beautiful memories will remain with them forever. This photo-book would continue to
remind them of the wonderful moments of togetherness in the US! Each parent may feel proud of this publication that will keep
reminding their daughters and sons of their achievement and capabilities, all life long. Happy reading!

TRAVELLING TO KNOWLEDGE
A journey to foreign soil is always replete with learning and excitement for any young and inquisitive mind. When the destination is
as rich as the East Coast of USA, one can only imagine the myriad ways in which Indian students may absorb and construct learning
out of the many differences and similarities that mark the cultures and people of these two great nations.
For EdTerra, an educational journey is about enabling students to construct knowledge through a meaningful encounter with a new
culture, without diluting their fun and excitement or restricting their wandering, curious minds. EdTerra achieves this through its
Program Development Team (PDT), which is comprised of both Indian and international experts. The PDT carefully designs culturally
neutral tools that enable students to meaningfully observe, record and articulate their impressions. These tools are deployed through
a process that encourages teamwork, meaningful discussions, recording observations through digital media and finally synthesizing
all this into a media product that showcases the ideas and learning of the students.
This Student Travel Chronicle, ‘East Coast Space Adventure’, is one such media product that captures the ten day journey of learning
of the gifted students of Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, along with the students of St. Mira’s Secondary School,
Pune and St. Peter’s School, Panchgani, to Kennedy Space Centre, Orlando along with Niagara Falls, Boston and New York City. This
beautiful book serves as a window into the U.S. and above all the amazing world of NASA for those students, peers and parents who
could not be a part of the journey. It showcases the intellectual and creative capacities of the students, credit for which is rightfully
due to their parents and school.
EdTerra Edventures would like to thank Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, for their efforts and support which made
this journey of discovery possible, with a special mention of the Principal, Mrs. Mangala Chandrashekar, for guiding us throughout
the process of finalizing and undertaking the journey. We encourage you to read on and re-live the learning and adventures of these
students through the words and photographs that follow.
Sincerely,
Christine Massey

Island, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Skull Island: Reign of
Kong, Jurassic World, Toon Lagoon and Seuss Landing.
In Niagara, we got to ride the Maid of the Mist. We saw huge
masses of water falling from great heights that formed mist
around the whole area. We felt the mist over our faces and
our hands. It was cold and wet, so cold that after sometime we
were not able to feel our hands for sometime.
We also visited two of the most popular universities of the
world, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and
Harvard. We got a better perspective of what we wanted to be
in our future. We were given a lot of information about both
the universities by the guide who was also from Boston.
The next morning we went to Central Park and Times Square,
where we were amazed to see many tall skyscrapers. On the
lastdayeverybodywasabitsadbecausetheywereleavingUSA.
On that day we went to the Empire State Building, Freedom
Tower and Statue of Liberty. From the Freedom Tower we saw
the entire city of New York. Then finally we went to the Statue
of Liberty. We clicked many pictures there and then we went to
do some shopping. After an exhausting flight of twenty hours
we came out of the airport with sweet memories which we
would carry with us forever.
On our first day in USA, we went to Downtown Disney. There we
saw many exciting and beautiful things. The next day we visited
Kennedy Space Centre. The incredible Florida Mall made our
evening special. We bought gifts and souvenirs for ourselves
and our friends. Next morning we visited Kennedy Space
Centre again. This time we not only got to know about various
things but we also got to experience them. The afternoon was
extremely special because we had our lunch with an astronaut.
His name was Robert. C. Springer. We had a very nice time
asking him questions and talking about his education and
missions. At 4 in the afternoon we went to Cocoa Beach where
we saw many beautiful things. Then we went to Walmart and
did a lot of shopping there.
Everybody was anxious for the next day as we were going
to Disney World, the world where we once wanted to live in
when we were small children. We entered Disney World with
excitement and joy but unfortunately there was rainfall which
reduced our excitement a bit. We had to wear ponchos. We
had a ride in a ferry boat which was very good. We had fun in
some water rides. At the end we saw the famous Disney Parade
with all the Disney characters walking in front of us.
The next day was the best day because we went Universal
Studios. In Universal Studios we saw the Marvel Superhero

which retired in 2011. . We saw the original Atlantis. It was
first launched on April 12, 1981. It completed around 30
missions. This was a great experience. Our first day ended on
an enlightened note.
On the second day, we dressed up in our white T-Shirts which
had the symbol of NASA; wearing this outfit we felt like we were
together, united and strong. Our day began with the tour of
the Rocket Garden guided by our mentor. After this we went
to the IMAX 3D theatre and saw a 3D movie with the name
‘Beautiful Planet’. In this movie we were able to see how the
earth looks from space during day and as well as night. After
the movie ended, we had the golden opportunity of having
our lunch with an astronaut. The name of the astronaut was
Robert C. Springer. He is a retired American astronaut and a
test pilot who flew as a mission specialist on two NASA space
missions, 1989 and 1990. He talked about his ventures and
we were also allowed to ask questions to which he readily
answered. After lunch we saw an inspiring movie about ‘Heroes
and Legends’. In this movie, people who had helped America
to grow economically as well as socially were honored and
the movie also listed their achievements. After spending two
days in Kennedy Space Center all the students were inspired
and learnt to ‘never give up, no matter how many time you fall,
pick yourself up and continue your journey till you reach your
destination’.
NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space
Administration. NASA was established in 1958 and Kennedy
Space Center was established in 1962. This exceptional
aerospace centre was founded by John F. Kennedy and it aimed
to beat the Russians and be the first to land a human on the
Moon.
We had a great experience at Kennedy Space Center. We got
the golden opportunity to discover KSC through a bus ride
which enriched us with exceptional knowledge. The huge
building called the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) was a
sight to behold. VAB is a building designed to assemble large
space vehicles and rockets such as the massive Saturn V and
the space shuttle. During the tour, two enormous gaseous
balls were spotted by our young minds. These gaseous balls
contained common gases such as liquid hydrogen and liquid
oxygen. When these two gases combine, they become a source
of fuel for the shuttle.
We also saw two launching pads. One of the launch pads
was getting ready to launch a rocket. After that we clicked
pictures in front of the VAB. When the bus tour was over we
watched a short documentary about the Apollo mission and
we were fortunate enough to view the actual control panels
used to launch Apollo 8. After all this, we had lunch and then
a bus escorted us to the multi-million dollar exhibit of Atlantis

Our day at Disney World started with a drizzle of rain. We
were worried about how our day was going to go but when we
reached Disney World, the atmosphere of happiness got us
energized and joyful. There were amazing rides which almost
left us speechless. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is divided into six
parts, namely Fantasyland, Adventureland, Main Street USA,
Tomorrowland, Frontierland and Liberty Square. It was epic
seeing the mixture of one’s imagination and hard work coming
out in a way in which adults and children could both enjoy.
Disney World - a place which makes everyone feel like heaven
on earth. We also saw the Disney Parade and met our favorite
Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Snow White
and Peter Pan.
The next day we visited Universal Studios’ Islands of Adventure.
We were very excited to visit Harry Potter World, Jurassic World
and Seuss Landing. Every corner of Universal Studios had
something new for us. IMAX 3D rides were enjoyable. There
were many rollercoasters and fantasy rides. The water rides
were also very exciting. Similar to the movies, we all overcame
our fears like some of us had phobia of height and some were
scared of water. It was indeed unforgettable.
Both the amusement parks were awesome and we enjoyed
the time we spent in each one of them. The rides, cartoon
characters and shows added to the element of fun in both
amusement parks. While we were transported to our childhood
in Disney, Universal Studios got us to face our fears! Overall, we
had a memorable experience in both theme parks and would
love to visit them again.

Boston is Massachusetts’ capital. Founded in 1630, it is one of
oldest cities in the USA. The key role it played in the American
Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile
walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s
founding. Faneuil Hall in Boston is a popular marketplace.
In the morning, all of us woke up and got ready for the big day.
We got ready and had our breakfast and then sat in our bus
and were off to the universities. The journey was a bit long but
still we were not feeling tired. In the middle of the journey we
picked up our guide for the day who would tell us about the
universities. Our guide shared with us the details of the US
education system and also told us about Boston. He told us
about the places, schools, universities and many other things
in Boston. After half an hour, we reached MIT whose full form
is Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It was beautiful and
big. There were many students studying there. We got to
know a lot of things about it from our guide. We spent some
time there and then we went to the world famous university,
Harvard.
After a drive of twenty minutes we reached Harvard University
where we saw a huge lawn in front of us. There were statues
of many famous people over there. We saw the dormitories
and we also came to know a lot of things about Harvard, its
teachers, the students and the campus. We had a great time
at the universities which was followed by lunch at an Indian
restaurant. After having lunch we were off to New Jersey where
we were going to stay for the rest of our journey.

We started our journey on 2 May 2018. We were filled with
enthusiasm. We arrived at the Orlando Airport and were very
excited to see the beauty and culture of USA. Our flight was via
Dubai to Orlando and was of 21 hours.
During this journey we visited many places like Orlando’s
Disney World, Universal Studios, NASA, MIT, Harvard University,
Niagara Falls, Pentagon, Lincoln Memorial, White House,
Capitol Building and Smithsonian Air and Space Museum but
nothing left us as awestruck as New York.
We started with a city tour of New York. We saw the Empire
State Building, 5th Avenue, Broadway and Rockefeller Centre.
After lunch we visited Madame Tussauds and we enjoyed a
lot of shopping in Times Square. Then we returned to our
hotel. The Empire State Building is a 102 storey landmark
skyscraper while Times Square is one of the busiest pedestrian
intersections of the world. At Madame Tussauds, we clicked
pictures with the life-like wax statues of our favourite
celebrities like Selena Gomez and Shah Rukh Khan.
On the last day we went to see the Statue of Liberty and to
explore Liberty Island. The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of
freedom and independence. The copper statue was a gift to the
Americans by the French in honour of America’s independence.
It was transported to the US in over 300 pieces and is 305 feet
tall.
We would like to thank our parents and our teachers who
informed us about this trip, especially our Principal Dr. Wilfred
Naronha. Lastly, we would like to thank our tour organiser
EdTerra for giving us the trip of a lifetime.

and I am very glad that I went.
Hey! I am Mahi. I am in Class 8 and
I study in St. Mira’s School. I like
to play football and read books.
My ambition is to be an astronaut.
EdTerra Edventures, a renowned
student travel company, planned
a trip under the name of USA: East
Coast Space Adventure. I got to
learn many things and I have still a
lot to learn. KSCVC (Kennedy Space
Centre Visitors Complex) gave me a
lot of information. I enjoyed being in
Universal Studios and Boston more
than Niagara and New York. NASA’s
experience was really amazing and
I learnt a lot of new things to fulfil
my ambition. I liked the rides in
Universal Studios. Overall, it was a
fun and educational tour.
Hi! I am Pradnya.I want to be a NASA
scientist when I grow up. Actually,
this was the main reason I came
here. Exploring how space crafts
travel, various facts about astronauts
and how they live in space. I am 11
years old, studying in Class 7. I went
on the Harry Potter ride in Universal
Studios. Experiencing this ride was
amazing because I have been a
Harry Potter fan since my childhood.
But the most unbelievable part
was the Niagara Falls. It was just so
breathtaking! It was as if my eyes
were deceiving me. I just couldn’t
take my eyes off it. To complete the
educational trip, we also visited MIT
and Harvard University. In short, I
am impressed.

  • 5. Sincerely, Mrs. Mangala Chandrashekar Principal Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai At Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, we believe that there is no substitute for ‘Education Through Action’ and that exploring people, places, cultures, economic opportunities, and technological advancements through travel, complements and completes the educational experience. This philosophy matches our endeavour to create responsible and dynamic global leaders and global citizens by bringing the knowledge of the world to the classroom as well as encouraging students to go out into the world. These two methods are critical to create the three pillars of global citizenship based on empathy, understanding and International collaboration. In line with this mission, our students recently journeyed to USA under a program titled EdTerra’s East Coast Space Adventure. We chose this program for its focus on exposing students to space exploration and technology at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. They also visited historic, natural and modern marvels of Niagara Falls, Boston and New York City. To augment the broader program, we selected the Young Authors Program, which ensured students’ engagement and immersion. This Student Travel Chronicle is an outcome of this collaborative and exploratory module that our students partook in, along with the students of St. Mira’s Secondary School, Pune, and St. Peter’s School, Panchgani. It captures the entire journey in the students’ own words and photographs. It even showcases their learning from the intense, ten day journey to one of the world’s most successful democratic nations. I would also like to recognize the efforts of EdTerra Edventures; a company that is well aware of co-curricular and extra-curricular goals and developmental needs of students. We acknowledge the contribution of their staff, especially their on-journey educator, the Journey Mentor and Visa Assistance Services. Their professionalism has resulted in an effortless, safe and enriching travel experience for each one of us and for the group. Lastly, we extend a heartfelt thanks to the students, who participated in the program enthusiastically. Our willing learners had an experiential learning experience and the beautiful memories will remain with them forever. This photo-book would continue to remind them of the wonderful moments of togetherness in the US! Each parent may feel proud of this publication that will keep reminding their daughters and sons of their achievement and capabilities, all life long. Happy reading! • 7. MESSAGE FROM EDTERRA MESSAGE FROM EDTERRA TRAVELLING TO KNOWLEDGE A journey to foreign soil is always replete with learning and excitement for any young and inquisitive mind. When the destination is as rich as the East Coast of USA, one can only imagine the myriad ways in which Indian students may absorb and construct learning out of the many differences and similarities that mark the cultures and people of these two great nations. For EdTerra, an educational journey is about enabling students to construct knowledge through a meaningful encounter with a new culture, without diluting their fun and excitement or restricting their wandering, curious minds. EdTerra achieves this through its Program Development Team (PDT), which is comprised of both Indian and international experts. The PDT carefully designs culturally neutral tools that enable students to meaningfully observe, record and articulate their impressions. These tools are deployed through a process that encourages teamwork, meaningful discussions, recording observations through digital media and finally synthesizing all this into a media product that showcases the ideas and learning of the students. This Student Travel Chronicle, ‘East Coast Space Adventure’, is one such media product that captures the ten day journey of learning of the gifted students of Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, along with the students of St. Mira’s Secondary School, Pune and St. Peter’s School, Panchgani, to Kennedy Space Centre, Orlando along with Niagara Falls, Boston and New York City. This beautiful book serves as a window into the U.S. and above all the amazing world of NASA for those students, peers and parents who could not be a part of the journey. It showcases the intellectual and creative capacities of the students, credit for which is rightfully due to their parents and school. EdTerra Edventures would like to thank Sadhu Vaswani International School, Navi Mumbai, for their efforts and support which made this journey of discovery possible, with a special mention of the Principal, Mrs. Mangala Chandrashekar, for guiding us throughout the process of finalizing and undertaking the journey. We encourage you to read on and re-live the learning and adventures of these students through the words and photographs that follow. Sincerely, Christine Massey Senior Manager, Program Development Team

  • 12. 7 12 Island, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Skull Island: Reign of Kong, Jurassic World, Toon Lagoon and Seuss Landing. In Niagara, we got to ride the Maid of the Mist. We saw huge masses of water falling from great heights that formed mist around the whole area. We felt the mist over our faces and our hands. It was cold and wet, so cold that after sometime we were not able to feel our hands for sometime. We also visited two of the most popular universities of the world, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Harvard. We got a better perspective of what we wanted to be in our future. We were given a lot of information about both the universities by the guide who was also from Boston. The next morning we went to Central Park and Times Square, where we were amazed to see many tall skyscrapers. On the lastdayeverybodywasabitsadbecausetheywereleavingUSA. On that day we went to the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower and Statue of Liberty. From the Freedom Tower we saw the entire city of New York. Then finally we went to the Statue of Liberty. We clicked many pictures there and then we went to do some shopping. After an exhausting flight of twenty hours we came out of the airport with sweet memories which we would carry with us forever. On our first day in USA, we went to Downtown Disney. There we saw many exciting and beautiful things. The next day we visited Kennedy Space Centre. The incredible Florida Mall made our evening special. We bought gifts and souvenirs for ourselves and our friends. Next morning we visited Kennedy Space Centre again. This time we not only got to know about various things but we also got to experience them. The afternoon was extremely special because we had our lunch with an astronaut. His name was Robert. C. Springer. We had a very nice time asking him questions and talking about his education and missions. At 4 in the afternoon we went to Cocoa Beach where we saw many beautiful things. Then we went to Walmart and did a lot of shopping there. Everybody was anxious for the next day as we were going to Disney World, the world where we once wanted to live in when we were small children. We entered Disney World with excitement and joy but unfortunately there was rainfall which reduced our excitement a bit. We had to wear ponchos. We had a ride in a ferry boat which was very good. We had fun in some water rides. At the end we saw the famous Disney Parade with all the Disney characters walking in front of us. The next day was the best day because we went Universal Studios. In Universal Studios we saw the Marvel Superhero OUR JOURNEY (SVIS, NAVI MUMBAI) Written and photographed by: Harsh, Maithili, Revanth, Shruti & Stuti

  • 20. 7 20 KENNEDY SPACE CENTER (SVIS, NAVI MUMBAI) Written and photographed by: Anushka, Bhavesh, Devshri, Shruti & Tanishqka which retired in 2011. . We saw the original Atlantis. It was first launched on April 12, 1981. It completed around 30 missions. This was a great experience. Our first day ended on an enlightened note. On the second day, we dressed up in our white T-Shirts which had the symbol of NASA; wearing this outfit we felt like we were together, united and strong. Our day began with the tour of the Rocket Garden guided by our mentor. After this we went to the IMAX 3D theatre and saw a 3D movie with the name ‘Beautiful Planet’. In this movie we were able to see how the earth looks from space during day and as well as night. After the movie ended, we had the golden opportunity of having our lunch with an astronaut. The name of the astronaut was Robert C. Springer. He is a retired American astronaut and a test pilot who flew as a mission specialist on two NASA space missions, 1989 and 1990. He talked about his ventures and we were also allowed to ask questions to which he readily answered. After lunch we saw an inspiring movie about ‘Heroes and Legends’. In this movie, people who had helped America to grow economically as well as socially were honored and the movie also listed their achievements. After spending two days in Kennedy Space Center all the students were inspired and learnt to ‘never give up, no matter how many time you fall, pick yourself up and continue your journey till you reach your destination’. NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA was established in 1958 and Kennedy Space Center was established in 1962. This exceptional aerospace centre was founded by John F. Kennedy and it aimed to beat the Russians and be the first to land a human on the Moon. We had a great experience at Kennedy Space Center. We got the golden opportunity to discover KSC through a bus ride which enriched us with exceptional knowledge. The huge building called the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) was a sight to behold. VAB is a building designed to assemble large space vehicles and rockets such as the massive Saturn V and the space shuttle. During the tour, two enormous gaseous balls were spotted by our young minds. These gaseous balls contained common gases such as liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. When these two gases combine, they become a source of fuel for the shuttle. We also saw two launching pads. One of the launch pads was getting ready to launch a rocket. After that we clicked pictures in front of the VAB. When the bus tour was over we watched a short documentary about the Apollo mission and we were fortunate enough to view the actual control panels used to launch Apollo 8. After all this, we had lunch and then a bus escorted us to the multi-million dollar exhibit of Atlantis

  • 28. 7 28 Our day at Disney World started with a drizzle of rain. We were worried about how our day was going to go but when we reached Disney World, the atmosphere of happiness got us energized and joyful. There were amazing rides which almost left us speechless. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is divided into six parts, namely Fantasyland, Adventureland, Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Frontierland and Liberty Square. It was epic seeing the mixture of one’s imagination and hard work coming out in a way in which adults and children could both enjoy. Disney World - a place which makes everyone feel like heaven on earth. We also saw the Disney Parade and met our favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Snow White and Peter Pan. The next day we visited Universal Studios’ Islands of Adventure. We were very excited to visit Harry Potter World, Jurassic World and Seuss Landing. Every corner of Universal Studios had something new for us. IMAX 3D rides were enjoyable. There were many rollercoasters and fantasy rides. The water rides were also very exciting. Similar to the movies, we all overcame our fears like some of us had phobia of height and some were scared of water. It was indeed unforgettable. Both the amusement parks were awesome and we enjoyed the time we spent in each one of them. The rides, cartoon characters and shows added to the element of fun in both amusement parks. While we were transported to our childhood in Disney, Universal Studios got us to face our fears! Overall, we had a memorable experience in both theme parks and would love to visit them again. • 36. 7 36 Boston is Massachusetts’ capital. Founded in 1630, it is one of oldest cities in the USA. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. Faneuil Hall in Boston is a popular marketplace. In the morning, all of us woke up and got ready for the big day. We got ready and had our breakfast and then sat in our bus and were off to the universities. The journey was a bit long but still we were not feeling tired. In the middle of the journey we picked up our guide for the day who would tell us about the universities. Our guide shared with us the details of the US education system and also told us about Boston. He told us about the places, schools, universities and many other things in Boston. After half an hour, we reached MIT whose full form is Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It was beautiful and big. There were many students studying there. We got to know a lot of things about it from our guide. We spent some time there and then we went to the world famous university, Harvard. After a drive of twenty minutes we reached Harvard University where we saw a huge lawn in front of us. There were statues of many famous people over there. We saw the dormitories and we also came to know a lot of things about Harvard, its teachers, the students and the campus. We had a great time at the universities which was followed by lunch at an Indian restaurant. After having lunch we were off to New Jersey where we were going to stay for the rest of our journey. • 44. 7 44 We started our journey on 2 May 2018. We were filled with enthusiasm. We arrived at the Orlando Airport and were very excited to see the beauty and culture of USA. Our flight was via Dubai to Orlando and was of 21 hours. During this journey we visited many places like Orlando’s Disney World, Universal Studios, NASA, MIT, Harvard University, Niagara Falls, Pentagon, Lincoln Memorial, White House, Capitol Building and Smithsonian Air and Space Museum but nothing left us as awestruck as New York. We started with a city tour of New York. We saw the Empire State Building, 5th Avenue, Broadway and Rockefeller Centre. After lunch we visited Madame Tussauds and we enjoyed a lot of shopping in Times Square. Then we returned to our hotel. The Empire State Building is a 102 storey landmark skyscraper while Times Square is one of the busiest pedestrian intersections of the world. At Madame Tussauds, we clicked pictures with the life-like wax statues of our favourite celebrities like Selena Gomez and Shah Rukh Khan. On the last day we went to see the Statue of Liberty and to explore Liberty Island. The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of freedom and independence. The copper statue was a gift to the Americans by the French in honour of America’s independence. It was transported to the US in over 300 pieces and is 305 feet tall. We would like to thank our parents and our teachers who informed us about this trip, especially our Principal Dr. Wilfred Naronha. Lastly, we would like to thank our tour organiser EdTerra for giving us the trip of a lifetime. NEW YORK (ST.
