Three early concepts are presented for a video game: a vehicle-based adventure moving between landscapes by helicopter, car, submarine and boat; a multiplayer F1 racing game allowing car upgrades after wins; and a solo traffic racing experience where the player must avoid crashes as the speed rises.
2. Initial Reaction
• I am thinking of creating a multi-level game travelling through different
terrains in different types of transport. This will include, a helicopter in the
sky, a car on a road, a submarine under the sea, a boat driving on the sea
etc. The concept of the game will be to travel past an object blocking they
way and after every successful object clearance a new terrain will spawn.
• Another idea that I may choose is a car racing game, This will be on a F1
style race course and will be multiplayer meaning will be multiple cars
racing at the same time. After every successful win you can choose to
upgrade your car.
• My 3rd idea will be another car related game, this time it will be solo and
will be racing through traffic. The concept of the game is to get as far as
possible before crashing. As the game goes on the speed will start to
increase.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
There is a clear correlation in all the pictures with the bright exotic feature given off a fun, not
very serious game. However it will still have a style of competitively in it competing with top
scores and cool different styles of characters and vehicles.
Another similarity is there is lots of different vehicles which shows that the game will be solely
based on controlling a vehicle. This links in with the last point with the fact the vehicles also
How will your mood board influence your final product?
The mood board has generated a lot of styles of vehicles, terrains and setting formats I plan to
make, this means the final video game animation will look better than I originally thought prior to
designing this mood board. Styles as simply as a car with a spoiler for example has brought to
mind do to the mood board.

2 Product Research, Proposal,
Planning
ď‚· Look at already existing games and look
at there styles and designs and try use
this to help increase the quality of my
final design. Also need to identify what
I plan to make and go into detail to
explain in full.
3 Production ď‚· Use the first week to design all the
vehicles and terrain backgrounds. Also
if enough time, design an in game coin
selection point.
4 Production ď‚· In the second week of production I will
begin and finish of the Tweek and the
run of the video game and export and
upload to YouTube and to Blogger
5 Evaluation ď‚· For the last week I will evaluate my
final product and explain what went
well, what went wrong and what I
could improve. The evaluation will
include peer feedback.
