2. Process
• For the opening shot I went into detail on the background and decided on a design that
showed all the levels. This was easy to do. First of all I divided the screen into 4 sections and
colour filled them all with the road/sky/sea. After this I added crucial details such as sea
creatures on the ocean (bottom right) section and the trees in the beach (top right) section.
After this I designed the start and credits section only using the pencil feature. I used the
pencil feature for everything on this par from the background colour. After this I outlined the
”start” in white for when the user clicks it, it will flash. After this I designed the title right at
the top centre using the pencil feauture.
3. Process
• Next up I designed the selection level segment. This was re used for the rest of the
levels but was slightly changed in the way the user selecting level 2 instead of 1. This
was easy to do I simply re shot the timeline section. The background for this was
created using colour fill and shapes given to me in Photoshop. After this I designed a
border for the numbers and the “selection level” using the pencil feature (the borders
I created will be re used in other shots). For each 1,2,3,4 I created a white border in
the same aspect as the previous slide in the way when the user clicks the number it
will begin to flash before loading the level.
4. Process
• After that I begin to create levels, starting with level 1. I changed the colour of the
background using colour fill. After this I inserted a white rectangle that was stretched
out full, after this I used another rectangle but this time, the colour was the same as
the road and I coped/duplicated it every 17cm to make it look like road markings.
After this I designed the car using the pencil feature. This was done from my research
on cars. After I completed this I duplicated it several times and scattered them along
the road to create traffic, and for the user’s car I changed the colour of the car to red
to show a significate difference. After this I designed the money counter at the top
right using the pencil feature, and every time the user successfully passed a car the
money would go up by £100, this was made visible by simply hiding the non available
numbers.
5. Process
• Next up we have the “total cash” segment that is repeated another 3 times just with
different numbers and a different number border as when the user gets in the
thousands there is another number to add. First of all I used colour fill to make the
background red, after this I copied the currency border on level 1 and added it to this
just increasing the size by using the scale feature and re created the numbers with
bigger sizes. After this I copied the border of the “select level” on that slide and
increased the width of it by using the pencil feature. I changed numbers in the same way
as level 1 in the way that I hide/showed the number in correct order. An example of this
is when its £100 the other numbers such as £200, £300 and £400 are hidden and only
showing the £100 but when it turns to £200 I hide £100 and show £200.
6. Process
• For level 2 the first thing I did was make the background by using colour full and
tweaking with the opacity of the colour. Next I simply copy and pasted the sea
creatures on the first slide and duplicated them and spread them along the page.
The same goes for the sand. After this I copy and pasted the currency border as
well as designing a new border for when the currency suppresses £1000. The only
difference was I had to design new numbers by using the pencil feature. Next I
designed the hazardous object by using the pencil feature again. I created it very
tall so I could place it any where and still be fully visible. After this I tried to copy
and past the submarine from the first slide but when I increased the size of it, it
would look weird so I had to re design one just much bigger. After this it was ready
to run.
7. Process
• For level 3 I simply copied and pasted everything of the first slide, such as the
clouds, the dark rectangles and the background and simply duplicated them and
scattered them along the background. The currency border was also copied and
pasted with the only difference is the numbers needed to be changed, this was
done using pencil feature. The same problem happened with the submarine with
the fact when I increased the size of the helicopter it would look weird so I re
designed it. This was one of the negative things of the final piece in the fact the
first slide helicopter is different to the helicopter on this level. After this, it was
ready to be run.
8. Process
• For level 4 I did the same as the rest of the levels in the way I copied and pasted
everything from the first slide and duplicated them and scattered them. Also the
same goes with the way of the currency section with again the only difference was
the re design of the number. Another negative thing on this final piece was the fact
the boogie and the boogie on level 4 is different, this was because the increase in
size made the object look weird in the same way it did with the submarine and the
helicopter on levels 2 and 3. After this it was ready to run.
9. Process
• For this section I re used the selecting level slide but added a “view shop” banner in front
of level 4. This was done by copying the design of the banner of the ”select level” and
gave it more height so I could fit two different lines of texts on. I also added a white
border to the words so when the user clicks it, it would look like its flashing. Once this was
done it was ready to run.
10. Process
• For this section I copied the background of the previous slide and added it to this slide.
Next I again copied the banners from the previous slide and designed a banner for both
the objects on sale, the sale title and the currency section at the bottom using the
pencil feature. After this I copied and pasted the submarine and helicopter from the
levels and filled them using different colour using the pencil feature again. After this it
was ready to run.
