2. Baumer Media group would publish my magazine as it is similar to Q and Kerrang magazine as
Q magazine specializes in indie, rock and alternative and Kerrang specializes in rock music. My
magazine genre is alternative rock so I can clearly see that my genre would work with these
factors. As this company are the publisher of two magazines closely related to my genre, it is
likely that my magazine will effectively be styled to fit the genre and target audience. Q
magazine was funded in 1986 and was later on sold by EMAP in 2008 to the Bauer Media
Group and progressively did well for sales and publicity which tells me that this media
company are good at styling this magazine and choosing appropriate articles to stand out to
the target audience. They will be able to use their music channels to promote my magazine
and using Kerrang with be benefitial as this will be suited for my target audience. I feel overall
my magazine is suited for the style of magazines the company appear to be interesting and I
will be able to benefit from their publicity and experience with magazine production in order
to achieve the most publicity.

4. Why Jann Wenner would publish my magazine:
I feel that Jann Wenner would like to publish my magazine as it has a lot of
potential just as Rolling Stones did and it is now a very successful and well
known magazine. I feel that Wenner would be an ideal publisher for my
magazine as he has a lot of experience building up a small magazine and I
can see the level of commitment, dedication and passion he put in for the
Rolling Stones magazine and it has become a success. As he wrote a lot of
the interviews for the Rolling Stone magazine, it tells me his experience in
writing what would appeal to the target audience would be benfitial for
me as it would make my magazine more interesting for the reader. He is a
member of he Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which tells me that he will be
very well known and respected in the magazine industry which will
positively impact the publicity of my magazine during the stage of
promotion.
