3. Research
• One of the good things about my research was that it
allowed me to see what my audience wanted by
using a quantitative survey. I used surveymonkey to
carry out my survey and I got a lot of responses.
• A weakness in my research is that for my qualitative
research I asked two people some questions and let
them go in depth. The problem with this is that it’s
only two people out of however many will watch my
trailer. To make this better, I probably could’ve asked
a few more people if I had more time.
4. Planning
• I didn’t really do much planning as I prefer
improvising, however, I did do a little bit. In my bit of
planning, I watched two trailers similar to the one I
wanted to make and analysed them to see what they
did.
• I probably could’ve done more planning, but I don’t
think it would’ve changed my final product
drastically.
• If I gave myself more time and followed my planning
better, my products may have turned out better.
5. Time Management
• Personally, I think I managed my time well as my posters only
took about 30 mins to make each. This left me loads of time
to edit and make my trailer. That was the plan for my time and
I stuck to it.
• If I had more time to produce my work, I think I would’ve
found a better recording software to make the video a higher
quality. That, or I would’ve started getting doubts about my
trailer and tweaking and editing to the point where it would
be silly.
6. Technical Qualities
They both have a red and tan
colour scheme.
Although one is in
Russian and one is in
English, I have used a
font similar.
I think that the actual propaganda is
more effective as it’s from a time where
propaganda posters are effective to a
mass population. One of the reasons I
don’t think mine is as effective is that it
has a flat background. I feel that if it had
a background with something going on,
it would be better.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
• I think that my 1st poster looks good
because it’s simple and the colours work
together.
• A reason the colours work is that they’re
inspired by communist propaganda.
• The red of the background might connote
to the blood of the fallen men of the war.
• Strengths
• A strength of my posters is that it
sticks to a colour scheme. This is
effective due to the style of the
poster.
• Weaknesses
• A weakness of my poster is the
logo. It doesn’t follow the colour
scheme and it looks out of place.
8. Audience Appeal
I tried to make my posters appeal to my audience by using the most known
vehicles of the nations. The Russian T-34, The American Jeep, The German
Panzer 4, The Japanese A6M Zero and the British Supermarine Spitfire.
My posters appeals to people between the ages of 16-40 as it shows tanks
and planes, which might excite the younger audience and they’re iconic
vehicles of the major countries which the older audience might recognise.

10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– You can really tell that the posters all belong to the same company – they
have a very similar theme and style and look professionally done.
– The T-shirt design was very nice, I like the minimalistic look with the black
and white colours.
– The trailer for the game looks very professional! The footage matches the
song perfectly. The clips show the game in a very enjoyable, high quality
light.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The trailed never specifies what it is advertising and the beginning is a
little too long.
– The white and blue poster seem just a litter different from the other three.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I really like the posters and designs because with the
posters they all follow the same designs, which makes the
style even better.
– The trailer is made to an incredible standard, which really
stands out to me as the quality is outstanding.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
– I believe that the trailer shouldn’t be as long as it is
because trailers are meant to entice people and make
them want to see more, so if you made many mini trailers I
would have no improvements that are significantly
notable.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the cinematic view of this game and it makes it
look more realistic. The lighting on the game is
something I also really like on the plane.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The thing that I would improve by having longer dog
fights and make them more intense
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agree that the trailer I made is too long. I
probably could’ve made the intro a lot shorter.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– I disagree that the trailer should have more
dogfights as it’s set to a mostly calming song.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would make my product shorter, as I’ve said
throughout this whole presentation. For my
posters, I think that if I just kept the first three, it
would’ve been fine, maybe changing the US vehicle
to a Sherman. For my T-Shirt designs, I think that by
changing the pattern for the BF109 one, it came
worse than I thought it would.
