That was really a bad presentation. You just gave the wrong info.
    POOR POOR POOR
You shouldnt ever ever run when an earthquake happens because things might fall onto you and injure you. Instead it will be good to take shelter underneath a sturdy, heavy peice of furniture. PROBABLY A TABLE.
Please delete off this presentation or atleast change the detail because people might think that the info u hav given is true.

Actually, it is strongly recommended that you don’t run in an earthquake--most injuries are caused by trying to move through the shaking, both from objects falling on you, and from the risk of being knocked off your feet. Plus, with most US buildings, the most dangerous area is right outside the front, where things are falling from above--right to where the little guy in this presentation is running to. Nifty presentation other than that.

that was good, obviously spent alot of time. I think this would appeal to the younger genaration and good use of questions to help get the understanding! Well done!

  9. What happen? It’s an earthquake. An earthquake happen because of the movement beneath the earth’s surface resulting the tectonic plates to move suddenly and creates seismic waves. Earthquakes are accordingly measured with a seismometer, commonly known as seismograph . At the earth’s surface earthquake may manifest themselves by shaking or displacement off the ground. Sometimes they cause tsunami, which may lead to lost of live and destruction to property. An earthquake is caused by tectonic plates getting stuck and putting a strain on the ground. The strain becomes so great that rocks give away by braking and sliding along fault planes.

  12. What should I do?
  13. What should he DO? If he lives in an apartment or a hotel he must search for the emergency stairs. It will not help if you used the lift, it can kill yourself, because maybe the rope that hold the lift will be cut. Try to search for the emergency stairs and run as fast as you can to the ground level then get out of the hotel/apartment. If you live in a house just get out as fast as you can, but if you’re stuck you must cover under a table, or something that you think strong enough to cover yourself from the roof to hit you directly. The Important thing is if there’s an earthquake, run as fast as you can
