would like to do or achieve before they die.
Examples:
I have so many things on my bucket list yet to do, but
going to France is the first thing I would like to do.
Learning how to speak French is another thing on my
bucket list.

5. 4 ADVERBS:
Just, Yet, Already, Still

The adverbs “just”, “yet”, “already” and “still” can be confusing to
use in English.
“Just”, “yet” and “already” are often used in the present perfect
tense (to talk about actions started in the past and continuing into
the present).
7. Present Perfect: A Review

To talk about actions that have started in the past and continue
today, the present perfect uses the present tense of the verb
“have” (have, has,) and the past participle of a verb.
The past participle:
• Is formed by adding “ed” to regular verbs.
• uses the past participle form of irregular verbs

They have seen that movie.
She has finished dinner.

• when something has very recently happened.
• usually before the main verb.

She/He has just finished breakfast.

• to say something has happened before now
• usually before the main verb
• often with positive sentences
Examples:

He has already finished.

• to say something has not happened, but is probably going to
happen
• usually at the end of a sentence
• often with negative sentences

We use “still”:
• to say that an action is not yet finished
• before the auxilliary or main verb OR
• after the “be” verb
Examples:
I still have that photograph of my Grandfather. (SP)
She still remembers that last vacation in Hawaii. (SP)
They are still hoping to see Paris in the Spring. (PC)

If the sentence is negative, use “still” before the negative verb:
