Even though leading major distribution companies like Bauer and IPC publish an extremely wide range of magazine genres, even covering specialist markets, I think that my magazine would be best suited to an independent publisher. I think this because during the course of my work I have been trying to relate to punk ideologies (mentioning independent music labels/unsigned acts) and I plan to follow that through to the publishing, making my magazine FREE and earn money from advertisements.

3. The type of advertisements in my magazine will be relating to the genre; alternative clothing stores, popular venues, music channels or alcohol.

4. My magazine should be distributed at alternative clothing stores, bars that play alternative music, gig venues and also it should be available online. An example of this is on ASOS.comwhere you are able to click on arrows to flick through the pages; You have to click on the arrow to make the page turn, it also shows you graphically the page turning as if you are doing it physically and has sound effects that sound like rustling paper. I would have something like this on the magazines website.
