1. First I choose my image. Then the video told me to cut the image out of its original background and put
it on a plain one. After that, I desaturation the image and brought up the white levels, down the
midtones, and brought down dark levels. Next, I lowered contrast the contrast and inverted the image. I
then merged all of the layers together. Next, I copied the white parts of my image and create a new
layer with them. After that, I filled the background layer with black and pasted the black and white
image into it. I resized the image to make it smaller by holding shift then locked the transparent pixels.
Then, I painted over the whole image with light yellow and added a red outer glow with 50% opacity. I
used a brush around the outer edges of the image with light yellow orange. Then, I searched the
internet to find an image of a fire stalk and picked my favorite. Next, you go to channels and select the
green, then copy the layer. Copy and paste the fire stalk all around the edges of the image, but I made
sure to make them smart objects so I could manipulate them. I made sure all of the fire layers were
editable, then rasterized and merged them together. I used a soft brush tool to erase all of the
unnecessary flame areas around the image, and added some of the original flames back to the image
were I felt like it was bare. Erase if you feel like you need to, then select the background and create a
new layer. Use a large brush with dark red color to put a red circle behind the image. Select levels to
enhance the whites of the image again, and then make the red spot larger if you’d like
