1. All About the Habitats!

Introduction
You have been chosen to go on an around the world adventure to visit some of the world’s
habitats! Today you and your group will journey together through these habitats and discover
all about their landscapes, what kind of animals live there, and what plants are there. Have fun,
good luck, and you will get a special treat at the end of your mission!
Task
Today you will quest through some of the world’s habitats. Your trek may be long, but it will be
worth it! You and your group members will explore the links provided to create a group poster
board project. In your project, you will include: where the habitats are, some animals that live
there, some plants that grow there, and any other fun facts you discover along the way. A
picture should also be provided.
Now it’s time to start!
Process
It’s time to discover about the habitats!
Your group will choose one of the following habitats to work with:
Desert Rainforest Grasslands
Tundra Temperate Marine
Forest
After you chose your habitat, your group will go through the provided links to create a poster
board project.
3. Evaluate
Your group will present your poster board to the class, so that I know you finished it. Then I will
evaluate you based upon the information you give the class.
Conclusion
Great job! You made it through your journey! Today we discovered so many new things about
the world’s many habitats. What did you learn about your habitat? What is something you
learned about another habitat? Now you know so many new things about the planet’s habitats.
