2. Here I used a photo of a flower to cover up the manufacturer badge with a
photo of a flower I previously took. I used a masking layer to hide the
background of the flower photo
Here I used the healing tool to hide the original number-plate lettering. I then
downloaded the numberplate style font in order to type anything that I
wanted in a realistic fashion.
Here are my layers. I have the photo of
the car, then the masked the
background of the flowers are
duplicated them four times. The other
layers are copies and text layers.
3. Here is another example of clever layering. I took a photograph of a person, and used a
photograph I found on the internet, and combined the two together in order to form a
different person altogether. A diagram of how this was done is below.
I removed the outer part of the head
from my photographed and positioned
it roughly on top of where it should be
on the other photo. I then used the
blend tool to make it match in.
I then adjusted hue, saturation, and played
around with the dodge and burn tools in
order to make the photo blend in to the
skin colour of the other photo.
