A Critique of the Proposed National Education Policy Reform
Production Of Digipak
1. Front Cover
1. First I created a gradient background for the
front cover, by using the gradient, paint bucket
tool.
2. I then found a picture of a cloud on the internet
and placed it in, duplicating it, manipulating the
size and rotating them to create different shaped
clouds.
3. Next, I found a picture of a row of houses, and I
made the background of it transparent. Again I
duplicated the row of houses and flipped it, and
placed it on the right hand side of the cover to
make two parallel row of houses.
2. Front Cover
4. I then found some swirls from the internet and
placed them in, again duplicating them, rotating
them and flipping them to create lots of swirls.
5. I then took a picture of the artist and made the
background transparent, using the magic want
tool. I then added this to the document.
6. I added small items such as an iPhone, a
camera, a newspaper and a makeup set around
the image of the artist, I have done this to reflect
the artist’s lifestyle.
3. Front Cover
8. I choose this font for my title and made it blue to
make it stand out.
9. Finally, I chose a signature style text for
the name of my artist, and placed it at an
angle.
4. Internal Pages
1. I have used a template of a set of 8 polaroid
pictures to create my own polaroid inspired
pages.
2. I then took screen shots from my music
video draft and placed them in to replace the
original images.
3. Next I used the same font I have used
on the front cover to label the images as
if the artist has written them on for
memories.
5. Internal Pages
4. Finally, I got an image of a circle with colourful swirls and have placed it
where the CD would go.
6. Back
1. For the back, I have used the colourful swirls from the front cover to keep
the theme and I have rotated, flipped, and changed the size and position of
them and layered them on top of each other.
2. I then took a picture of
the artist and flipped the
image, brightened up the
image and removed the
background using the
magic wand tool.
7. Back
3. I then placed the image of the artist onto the
background and added a white rectangle at the
bottom of the case to place the barcode, copy
right log and the company logo on so the would
stand out against the colourful background.
4. Finally I added in the barcode, copy right log and
the company logo in the correct places and added
a track list of the singles that are featured in the
album in the font that is present on the front cover
and the internal pages to keep within the theme.
