This document summarizes a student's research about their mentor, a 29-year veteran high school math teacher. The student learned about the pros of making a positive impact and passion for the career through their meetings. However, they also discovered the cons of dealing with unruly students and a relatively low salary. While the teacher tries different activities and discussions to engage students and overcome behavioral problems, the student realized teaching is not a good career choice for them due to their lack of patience.
