2.  This proforma is to record how you worked on your production
 You should complete this each week during production

and actions for the following sessions/weeks

3.  This week I have begun to
explore ideas for potential
films, I have watched
examples of short films and
created a mind map and
mood board to see what sort
of film I want to make. I
struggled to find ideas for the
film I wanted to create but
settled on a horror film as I
had a lot of inspiration from
the example films.

4.  This week I did research in to
films and techniques. I learnt
about mise en scene and
different methods such as
filming from different angles
and pov’s. I have also done
basic editing from a Shawn of
the dead clip to learn the
basics of editing audio. I
found this task good as it
allowed us to get to know
places to get the audio.

5.  This week I created the idea
for my film and planned
different aspects of it. I came
up with my proposal and
basic storyline. I was pleased
with this but it was slightly
unoriginal I felt, I hoped I
could of come up with a more
interesting plot.

6.  This week I planned my film. I
chose and organised my
actors and organised my
shots and how long they
would be for. I also organised
location, props and when I
was filming. This all went
fairly well to plan however I
felt I could of wrote this
section in a lot more detail.

7.  This week was production I
really struggled to get good
footage during this especially
as I had a faulty camera with
low lighting. The editing I
have also struggled with
because of this. In hindsight I
should of spent more time on
the footage and borrowed a
camera from college.
