2. Introduction
This year for my FMP I have created a fashion magazine looking at
various aspects of streetwear. The magazine covers shops, brands,
important figures and history. I have researched in to each of these
areas throughout the project and tried to reflect them in my designs. I
hope you enjoy my product.
3. Presentation
Visual
One of the options of presenting my
work would be presenting it visually.
This would mean less
communication from me but more
information on the screen. I could
include different interactive features
to make it more engaging for the
viewer, this is better if I don’t want to
speak as much.
Vocal
This is the method I will most likely go for,
a more vocal presentation will mean less
information on screen and a more
interactive presentation between me and
the viewer. This will be more likely to be
engaging and keep the viewer interested.
It will mean a less impressive powerpoint
but a better experience.
Recorded
This is a good option it is a
combination between the
two. If I was to use this I
would write key points on
the presentation and
provide a small description
through recorded audio. This
would be effective as I could
easily prepare what to say
about this topic however I
think just listening to a
recording is nowhere near as
engaging as speaking to your
audience in person.
4. Target market and audience
• 16-40 year olds
• Middle to upper class
• Predominantly male
My target audience is fairly varied as streetwear has an enormous
following. My magazine will be targeted to be released mainly in citys
as there is a bigger potential audience there.

18. Social media
Social media is of course vital in this day to show off your product and
build a brand following. If I aim to follow the same business model as
streetwear brands with more demand than supply I first need to build a
following. I have made an Instagram account as a small example of how
it might look.
19. Showing my work
To get feedback on my work there are several options worth
considering. A class presentation is an effective way of getting peer
feedback especially has a section of my class is my target audience
18/19 year old males. By using a fill in form handed out after the
presentation I could gain quality feedback. I could also ask local shops
in York if I could hand out free copies in there store. The copies would
have a link to a survey so I could see how the public responds. By
having a powerpoint not a video I can take as much time as I want to
explain each page as I go through.
