Мета:
activate the use of thematic words in oral and written speech on the
topic;
develop monologic and dialogic speaking, reading and listening skills; to
develop the abilities of critical thinking and independent expression in the process
of acquiring knowledge on the subject, using various sources of information and
modern information technologies, to develop cognitive interests;
encourage students to study the culture of English-speaking countries
by traveling.

vocabulary and speech patterns, as well as achieving the formation of key and
subject competencies in the lesson.

І. Greeting. Aim.
Hello, children! Today we will have a very unusual lesson. We’re going to speak
about travelling and what you need to travel. During the lesson you’ll have some reading,
listening and speaking practice. By the end of the lesson you’ll know what kind of
information is in a train ticket. Also you’ll know how to buy a ticket. I hope you’ll get the
useful knowledge and much fun.
II. Warming up.

be the first group, who has a brown/green colour on his/her clothes, will be the second
group).
