• Listening is the ability to receive messages.
• Listening is a key to effective communication.
• Listening means paying attention not only to the story, but
it is told.
• Listening enhance the use of language and voice.
How to become an active listener
• By paying Attention.
• Look at the speaker directly.
• Avoid, side conversations.
• By providing feedback as, a listener our role should be to
understand that what is being told by the speaker.
• Ask questions.
• Summarizes the speaker comments sometimes.
Advantages to listening are
• It involves active skills.
• It improves to express our thoughts and emotion.
• It give is the ability to communicate effectively.
• Speaking help us to convey our massage.

• Face to face conversations.
• We are alternately listening /speaking.

• Perfoming in a play reciting a poem, singing.
