Think twice before you make decision
E
va is small girl. She attends a
school that is close to her
home. Maya is her younger
sister’s name. She is two years old.
Her mother arrived around 8 a.m.
came inside Eva’s room to wake her.
She smiled when she got up and
went about her daily ritual because
today was her birthday which is cel-
ebrated like a festival in her house.
She headed to the hall after finishing
her morning ritual to see her family
.
Everyone wishes her a lovely
smile and a fantastic present. Her
father always gives her the thing she
desires, but this time is different.
Eva was disappointed since she
wished for a car that was appropri-
ate for her size, but her father, Dan-
iel, would not fulfil her dream. She
became sad and didn’t want her fam-
ily to know, so she pretended to be
happy during her birthday celebra-
tion.
The next day
, she felt unhappy till
shewokeup and went about herdaily
routine. She then went to the hall to
eat breakfast. She noticed her sister
Maya enjoying the breakfast that her
mother was preparing. Eva got upset
because she missed her mother and
father, whom she thought were not
present in her life. They did not offer
her what she desired and did not pay
attention to her.
After two weeks, Lily and Daniel
noticed something strange in Eva’s
behaviour and decided to talk to her,
but they were too preoccupied with
their own tasks. Eva was lonely in
this place. So, she decided to leave
the house tonight. As she intended
to leave the house with a note aex-
plaining her sentiments and loneli-
ness. She spent the night in her
neighbour’s garden, where she felt
comfortable. She went out early in
the morning to look for a spot where
she might satisfy her loneliness.
After more than an hour of trek-
king, she came across a zoo. After
seeing their animals, she noticed a
mother and a toddler. She then ex-
ited the zoo and resumed her trek.
She observed another park where a
family was having a romantic time.
Eva believed she made a bad mistake
now. And intended to return home.
On the walk to her house, she
was remembering all the happy
times she had with her family and
forgetting all the bad times. “Never
make a bad decision,” she finally
added. Her father believed I should
have spent more time with her, but
she is no longer with us. Eva entered
the hall and apologised to her moth-
er and father.
But her father and mother sim-
ply embrace her closely and said “we
are sorry sweetie, we will provide all
love you want, we love you baby”.
Eva’s family eventually shared
a wonderful meal together, express-
ing even more affection. “People
don’t realise how important deci-
sions are until they make the incor-
rect ones.” “A decision made out of
fear is always a bad decision.” “A
good decision made for the
wrong reason might be a bad
decision.”

CHEETAH RE-INTRODUCTION PLAN
A
cheetah re-introduction project is
underway in Africa, and it’s hoped
that the big cats will help to boost
the populations of other wildlife species.
The project is being led by the African
Wildlife Foundation (AWF), and it involves
transporting cheetahs from zoos in the
United States back to their natural habitat
in Africa.
The cheetahs will
be released into
fenced-of f areas
where they’ll be able
to roam freely, and it’s
hoped that they’ll even-
tually start breeding.
If successful, the
project could see
cheetahs re-
tur ned to
parts of
Africa
where they’ve been extinct for decades.
And it’s not just cheetahs that stand to
benefit – the hope is that by reintroducing
these top predators, whole ecosystems will
be restored. When it started, the Cheetah
Re-Introduction Project was a highly ambi-
tious undertaking. The goal was to re-in-
troduce cheetahs into areas of Africa
where they had once been plentiful but had
since disappeared due to hunting and
habitat loss.
The project has been ongoing for
several years and has had mixed re-
sults. There have been several success
stories, with cheetahs successfully adapt-
ing to their new environments and even
reproducing in some cases.
However, there have also been several
setbacks, with cheetahs dying from disease
or be- ing killed by other preda-
tors. Overall, the
project is still on-
going, and its
long-term success
is yet to be deter-
mined .

A
ny tour involves a lot of
excitement, adventure,
and excessive planning.
We had originally planned to go
during the pongal holidays
since a test was taking place, but
our plans abruptly altered, and
we chose to travel on January
20. I was over the moon and ex-
cited to visit Kerala. After a few
days, our exam was completed,
and my whole concentration left
on a trip on the 19th. The next day
, we had
to go. It was almost a 5hrs trip from our
destination and between that I slept. Fi-
nally, we reached there and first we start-
ed with the Guruvayur temple. We did
puja and came near the Kerala food coun-
ter. It was delicious food picked, rice and
two more vegetables. After visiting the
temple, we went to the market and my
mother brought a Kerala saree for her.
Our next plan was to visit Chavakad
beach which was nearly 5km meters
away from there. Me and my
brother were playing with
water on the beach then I
started collecting shells
over there. I hurriedly
packed my backpack
so that I could fit all
the goods I would need
o n m y
vacation. Finally, I packed
my bags and went to the
kitchen to assist my moth-
er. The kitchen experience
was pleasant. Everything
was going great at night,
so I talked to my father
about the exam I had today
before falling asleep. My
mother woke me up at
about 4:00 in the morning,
and I was eager to leave so
I did everything as quickly as I could.
Finally, at 6:30am, it was time to begin
our excursion to Kerala, or our voyage.
My brother was using Google Map to get
instructions as we prepared to leave, and
we all kept our belongings in the car. I
have brought back a lot of shells from
there. Then, while we were returning, we
stepped inside a flower shop and pur-
chased a flower. Finally, at 9:00 pm,
we were at home. I will never for-
get my pleasant and
thrilling vacation to
Kerala.

SBOACELEBRATESTHIRUVALLUVAR’SDAY Think twice before you make decision E va is small girl. She attends a school that is close to her home. Maya is her younger sister’s name. She is two years old. Her mother arrived around 8 a.m. came inside Eva’s room to wake her. She smiled when she got up and went about her daily ritual because today was her birthday which is cel- ebrated like a festival in her house. She headed to the hall after finishing her morning ritual to see her family . Everyone wishes her a lovely smile and a fantastic present. Her father always gives her the thing she desires, but this time is different. Eva was disappointed since she wished for a car that was appropri- ate for her size, but her father, Dan- iel, would not fulfil her dream. She became sad and didn’t want her fam- ily to know, so she pretended to be happy during her birthday celebra- tion. The next day , she felt unhappy till shewokeup and went about herdaily routine. She then went to the hall to eat breakfast. She noticed her sister Maya enjoying the breakfast that her mother was preparing. Eva got upset because she missed her mother and father, whom she thought were not present in her life. They did not offer her what she desired and did not pay attention to her. After two weeks, Lily and Daniel noticed something strange in Eva’s behaviour and decided to talk to her, but they were too preoccupied with their own tasks. Eva was lonely in this place. So, she decided to leave the house tonight. As she intended to leave the house with a note aex- plaining her sentiments and loneli- ness. She spent the night in her neighbour’s garden, where she felt comfortable. She went out early in the morning to look for a spot where she might satisfy her loneliness. After more than an hour of trek- king, she came across a zoo. After seeing their animals, she noticed a mother and a toddler. She then ex- ited the zoo and resumed her trek. She observed another park where a family was having a romantic time. Eva believed she made a bad mistake now. And intended to return home. On the walk to her house, she was remembering all the happy times she had with her family and forgetting all the bad times. “Never make a bad decision,” she finally added. Her father believed I should have spent more time with her, but she is no longer with us. Eva entered the hall and apologised to her moth- er and father. But her father and mother sim- ply embrace her closely and said “we are sorry sweetie, we will provide all love you want, we love you baby”. Eva’s family eventually shared a wonderful meal together, express- ing even more affection. “People don’t realise how important deci- sions are until they make the incor- rect ones.” “A decision made out of fear is always a bad decision.” “A good decision made for the wrong reason might be a bad decision.” RIDHA FAMEEN , Class XI , St. Mary’s Girls HSS R. School SHERWIN , Class IV , Reeds World School.jpg CHEETAH RE-INTRODUCTION PLAN A cheetah re-introduction project is underway in Africa, and it’s hoped that the big cats will help to boost the populations of other wildlife species. The project is being led by the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), and it involves transporting cheetahs from zoos in the United States back to their natural habitat in Africa. The cheetahs will be released into fenced-of f areas where they’ll be able to roam freely, and it’s hoped that they’ll even- tually start breeding. If successful, the project could see cheetahs re- tur ned to parts of Africa where they’ve been extinct for decades. And it’s not just cheetahs that stand to benefit – the hope is that by reintroducing these top predators, whole ecosystems will be restored. When it started, the Cheetah Re-Introduction Project was a highly ambi- tious undertaking. The goal was to re-in- troduce cheetahs into areas of Africa where they had once been plentiful but had since disappeared due to hunting and habitat loss. The project has been ongoing for several years and has had mixed re- sults. There have been several success stories, with cheetahs successfully adapt- ing to their new environments and even reproducing in some cases. However, there have also been several setbacks, with cheetahs dying from disease or be- ing killed by other preda- tors. Overall, the project is still on- going, and its long-term success is yet to be deter- mined . AADVIKA R., Class XII Yuvabharathi Public School, Coimbatore MytriptoGod’sOwnCountry A ny tour involves a lot of excitement, adventure, and excessive planning. We had originally planned to go during the pongal holidays since a test was taking place, but our plans abruptly altered, and we chose to travel on January 20. I was over the moon and ex- cited to visit Kerala. After a few days, our exam was completed, and my whole concentration left on a trip on the 19th. The next day , we had to go. It was almost a 5hrs trip from our destination and between that I slept. Fi- nally, we reached there and first we start- ed with the Guruvayur temple. We did puja and came near the Kerala food coun- ter. It was delicious food picked, rice and two more vegetables. After visiting the temple, we went to the market and my mother brought a Kerala saree for her. Our next plan was to visit Chavakad beach which was nearly 5km meters away from there. Me and my brother were playing with water on the beach then I started collecting shells over there. I hurriedly packed my backpack so that I could fit all the goods I would need o n m y vacation. Finally, I packed my bags and went to the kitchen to assist my moth- er. The kitchen experience was pleasant. Everything was going great at night, so I talked to my father about the exam I had today before falling asleep. My mother woke me up at about 4:00 in the morning, and I was eager to leave so I did everything as quickly as I could. Finally, at 6:30am, it was time to begin our excursion to Kerala, or our voyage. My brother was using Google Map to get instructions as we prepared to leave, and we all kept our belongings in the car. I have brought back a lot of shells from there. Then, while we were returning, we stepped inside a flower shop and pur- chased a flower. Finally, at 9:00 pm, we were at home. I will never for- get my pleasant and thrilling vacation to Kerala.
