The teachers imparting
knowledge to their best which
in turn enhanced our skills. The
teachers were strict but were very
loving and caring to provide the at-
mosphere which was best for the
growth of the kids. We could see the
motherly affection and the care. The
importanceof disciplineandpunctuality
was taught to us in every period and that

. School life is one of the best phases
in life. Not worrying about other things in
life, the studies, the games and tourna-
ments, the projects, and the excursions.
A perfect life but then we as kids
couldn’t figure out the importance of the
school life at that time. Now recollecting
those times, I feel I could have done
more, achieved more to fulfill the ex-
pectations of my teachers. Now what
worries me is, the times have
changed. The education system has
changed, making it more practi-
cal and fun filled. But
the factor discipline in
students Life is lost
somewhere. No

lieve to teach and

sonal skills of the kid’s
punishment need not be
given. This is where the class
control matters. Of course, the
teachers are efficient enough to
do so but are the kids of this gen-

pline part in their life? I doubt so.
They are not understanding that dis-
cipline plays the vital role in shaping
about their life. I am not saying only
studies will shape up the life, a bit of fun
time is also important but not at the cost
of losing discipline.
I wish the kids realize the values of
discipline and punctuality in their life as
a student helping them to achieve their
dreams and goals in life. We the teachers
workforamissionwithavisiontoimpart
our knowledge to the fullest and help the
kids to attain their heights in life. Hope-
fully the kids understand the struggle
and passion of the teachers and join
hands for the success in the journey

Y
uvabharathi Public School cele-
brated “YUVA BHARATHI
VIZHA 2023” to commemorate
the birth anniversary of Mahakavi
Bharathi, a renowned Tamil writer,
poet, journalist, Indian independence
activist, and social reformer. On the
11th of December every year, we cele-
brate Bharathiar Day to honour his
convictions, fearless spirit, and dedica-
tion.
This day is a testament to his belief
in breaking free from societal barriers
and promoting freedom and equality.
In the Yuva Bharathi Vizha 2023, organ-
ised by the Department of Tamil, more
than 300 children participated in vari-
ous competitions, such as poem recita-
tion, music, elocution, and painting
contests based on Bharathi’s works.
A photo gallery of Bharathi was
organised for the children to learn
about his accomplishments. Children
enthusiastically participated in the
cultural programmes, too. The classi-
cal dance performances by the students
for the songs ‘Parukulle Nalla Naadu’
and ‘Vazhga Nirantharam’ engrossed
the audience.
The former spoke about the coun-
try, and the latter portrayed Bharathi-
ar’s devotion towards the Tamil lan-
guage. They spoke about Bharathi’s
fundamental principles and explored
the varied perspectives. Following that,
a video was screened on Bharathi’s
most revolutionary ideas.
In the end, the school choir per-
formed his most famous songs, show-
casing their musical artistry and deep
understanding of poetry. The school
conducted the ‘Bharathi Vizha - Book
fair’ on the 14th, 15th and 16th of De-
cember, 2023.
The event provided an excellent
opportunity for parents and students
to explore a diverse collection of Tamil
literature. The Ministry of Education,
Government of India, celebrates the
birth anniversary of Bharathi as
‘Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav’.
The words and ideals of Bharathi
continue to inspire countless genera-
tions; thus, it was a momentous occa-
sion for students to pay tribute to Bhar-
athi’s legacy
.

SPARKING EMOTIONS AND CREATIVITY AT THAAMARAI WORLD SCHOOL!

mojis, those tiny digital expres-
sions that speak volumes without
words, took center stage as the
students from Nursery to class V stu-
dents dove into a burst of creativity,
crafting their favourite emojis that leapt
off yellow marble paper. It was an explo-
sion of emotions, a canvas of feelings
that brought joy and learning hand in
hand at Thaamarai World School.
The essence of World Emoji Day is
to champion these expressive icons,
spreading delight wherever they land.
Witnessing the young stars unleash
their emotions through emojis was a
sight to behold, a visual delight that
showcased their understanding of basic
feelings.
The school delved deep into conver-
sations about the emotions tied to fam-
ily, teachers, friends, nature—everyone
who shapes their world. And what a
fantastic way it was to express these
sentiments than through emojis! Dr.
Karpagam Arasappan, the esteemed
school Principal, showered praise upon
the students and teachers for their in-
credible efforts. She highlighted the
importance of continuing such spirited
celebrations in schools, acknowledging
how they ignite the flame of enthusiasm
and zest in our children. These celebra-
tions of expression, creativity, and con-
nection continue to brighten the halls
and hearts, making every day a canvas
of emotions!

hristmas is always special at Lisieux
Matriculation Hr. School. This year to
make it even more special, a 51 feet
Christmas tree, first time of its kind in the
schools of Coimbatore, is set up in the campus.
It also symbolises the 51 years of excellence
in the field of education. The bright star on
the tree is the top notch. The tree also symbol-
ises joy, peace and happiness. The principal,
staff and students wish everyone a joyous
Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2024.
