This document provides steps for adding product variations in WordPress using WooCommerce. It explains how to create attributes for variations like size or color. 2. Adding Variations
• The first thing you will want to do with WooCommerce is add a
product.
• However, you may want different variations of a product, such
as different sizes or colors.
• Follow the next steps to add an attribute to use for a product
in Wordpress, then we will add a product afterward.
4. Create an Attribute
Step 2: Choose a name for
your attribute, like a size or
color.
Step 3: Click
“Add Attribute”
Step 1: Click
“Products,” then
“Attributes”
Step 4: The attribute
should show up here,
and then click the
(blue) title.
5. Create an Attribute
The variation should show up
here, and you can keep adding
them in this way
Name a variation of the
attribute, then click
“Add New [attribute]”
6. Adding Products
• Now that we have the attributes for our products, we want to
add the product.
• You will want to include basic information such as pricing and
an image, and also add any attributes it may have.
• The following steps will show you how to add a product with
necessary information in Wordpress.
7. Add a Product
Step 2: Give a title to your
product; this will appear at the
top of your product on the
page.
Step 3: You can add a
description of the product
here, and any additional
images you would like to show.
Step 1: First
click on
“Add Product”
8. Edit Product Details
Scroll down, and under
Product Data you can further
specify product details by
clicking the tabs on the left.
10. Add an Attribute to a Product
If you have different variations
of a product, like sizes or colors,
choose “Variable Product” from
the drop-down menu.
11. Add an Attribute to a Product
Then click
“Attributes” on the
left side.
Choose the attribute you just
created and click “Add.”
12. Add an Attribute to a Product
Choose all the options you
want to include for your
product.
Check
“Used for variations”
14. Add Variations
Step 2: You can specify
quantities and prices for
a variation.
Step 3: Click
“Add Variation”
and fill out the same info
until you have each
variation complete.
Step 1: Choose the
first variation you
want to add.
15. Featured Image and Save
To set an image for the product,
scroll up and click “Set Featured
Image” and choose your desired
image.
When you are done
editing, you can save
a draft or publish the
product like any
other page or post.

Click on WooCommerce.
Here you can see all your
orders.
Click on an order to see
more information about it.
18. Go to WooCommerce
Click on Settings to edit most
details relating to inventory,
payments, and shipping.
Click the tabs up here to go
to different sections in
Settings.
