For many years, second hand smoke has been affecting the lungs of many people. While most of these
people can get away from it, one significant population does not always have that option. Innocent
children and infants are most affected by second hand smoke. Unfortunately, these adolescents do not
know that it is causing major health effects to their underdeveloped bodies. Children and infants
involuntary inhale smoke in their homes and on the streets where they live. Laws regarding smoking
in restaurants, on playgrounds, and on school properties have majorly decreased the risks. However, it
is not limited to those areas. There are more ways to decrease it. Interventions that reduce second hand
smoke in homes where children live and reduce smoking before, during and after birth will decrease
an infant s exposure. Providing counseling, follow up techniques, and education to parents, or primary
caretakers who smoke are two ways that can help them quit and realize the harmful effects that
smoking actually has on their children. Focusing on the individual who is harmed in these situations is
not always the answer. One must focus on the one who is causing the effects because second hand

INTRODUCTION This movie tells about a man by name Ken Carter , who was offered a job to be the
coach of a high school basketball team in the same high school he graduated from with the challenge
of getting the team winning, this man holds a hall of fame record in that school and as such has a
reputation to keep. He went on to not only improve the team s performance on the court but also turn
around their academic performance, this team is made up of teenage boys who had a misplaced
passion to pursue just basketball and forsaking the importance of a good education. There is a huge
followership or fan base of this basketball team which has a big influence on the team, these followers
comprises of family, parents, friends, school staff and even the resident community which were

English Class Reflection
I can say with a high degree of confidence that AP Upper Mid English has been unlike any other
English course that I have taken during my academic career. Put plainly, the material and in class
instruction of the class is revelatory in every sense of the term, and, overall, the organization and
matter of the course was exceptional. In terms of the organization of the course as a whole, I believe
that the English Department was able to successfully distill all of the dominant aspects of learning that
an English class epitomizes into the relatively short period of time that school is in session. In my
experience, I have found the class to be organized and structured competently. The schedule,
curriculum, and writing assignments were easy to understand and I felt as though I exited the
classroom every class feeling as if I accomplished what I had to for that day and I had a definite grip
on what to expect for the next class. That being said, I think it is also imperative for me to mention
that the course was not overly constricting or overly structured either the schedule had enough

By being surrounded by various races for as long as I remember, it was just natural to adapt to the
situation. I feel that as a generation we are not uncomfortable when we are the only one who is a
different race in a situation. While I was brainstorming where I was going to go for this project, I was
conflicted. I did not understand why being a minority somewhere would make someone
uncomfortable. In today s world, there are examples of all races at the top and at the bottom. That even
though there are racial issues still, the protestors are filled with diversity. As a generation, we are ones
to come together through our views and opinions, rather than our race or ethnic background.
Beforehand, if it was split, it was because of racism. But now that there are examples for everyone, it
is based on our beliefs. According to William Frey, racial diversity will be the most defining and
impactful characteristic of the millennial generation (Frey, 2016). Frey mentions that millennials have
the ability to assimilate, advocate and accept different races and make the transition to a more racially
diverse nation more successful (Frey, 2016).

the Rec center on campus. It s not an unfamiliar location, we met at this location several times to

2. Analysis First I d like to say, this group project is a little more difficult than the other group projects
because while those depended more on a certain topic (Coachella, Streaming services), this one is

NCIS Season 12
In a little more than two weeks, television s most watched show returns to our screens. NCIS has had
quite the season last year as the team faced a dangerous mercenary, dealt with tough challenges in the
character s private lives and ended with children being used by terrorists and Gibbs getting shot as a
result. Before the show returns on September 22, it s time to look back at season 12 and look ahead to
the new season. I will start this article with a brief recap of the main events of last season, then do a
review of last season and finally I will look at the information we have for season 13.
Recap of season 12
The first half of season 12 saw the team being hunted by Russian mercenary Sergei Mishnev. He first
stirred trouble in the season premiere when he shot down a helicopter with Gibbs, McGee and a few
others. Guided by the NCIS team in DC and Russian Counselor Anton Pavlenko, the teame made it
through a tense hunt in the Russian forest. In the end, Gibbs shot Sergei, however, it turned out to be a

They investigated a terrorist group known as The Calling, which recruited young children through the
internet. This resulted in a boy named Bradley nearly blowing up a bus, while Gibbs did his best to
prevent another boy named Luke to get under the influence of The Calling. One of the group s leaders,

The most common form of terrorism used by the paramilitaries groups was bombings, which in the
case of Irish Republican Army (IRA) was a respond to the presence of the British and British actions
in Northern Ireland. The reason why the nationalist paramilitary groups and the IRA used bombings

population rather than other paramilitary groups . This violent form of terrorism was especially
prevalent in the period of 1974 76 where sectarian murders were committed on both sides. The Miami

the UFV in 1974 and created speculation that the Royal Ulster Constabulary might have been involved

Introduction
Writing has never been my forte. Nevertheless, this is not to say that I could not write. Throughout the
semester with the assigned reading assignments and the given practical writing exercises I have come

product of Clark County Educational system. I have always struggled through my last classes and

Privacy like eating and breathing is one of life s basic requirements , and drug testing in the workplace
does not respect that. It is an infringement of an individual s right to privacy. Several strong arguments
vouch for that. Essentially it is not the employer s task to prevent people from illegal actions in their
free time.
First of all it is the government s task to sanction illegal actions, not the employer s. Many people state
that to treat all employees equally, one should have the same objective tests for both alcohol and

As a child, I had always dreamed of traveling around the world and viewing its breathtaking creations.
Through the years I still have this sudden niche for traveling and experiencing new and exciting
things. From Costa Rica to much of the United States I have ventured upon a lot of traveling. Through
