This document describes a measurement project to determine flow rates using different shaped and angled weirs and notches. The project uses a basic model of a tank and pipes to release water samples through notches of varying shapes. Flow rates are then measured and compared for different notch configurations. The goal is to understand how notch shape impacts flow rate, which has applications in estimating floods and controlling water distribution for various purposes. Flow measurements will be taken for water released through notches over set periods of time.
