This document discusses strategies for implementing the SAMR model of technology integration and coaching teachers to use iPads authentically. It describes the four levels of the SAMR model from substitution to redefinition and provides examples of each. It then discusses facilitating authentic iPad use by students, creating an ICT leadership team to coach teachers, establishing "techie brekkies" for professional development, developing an app list, supporting parents, and making the transition to technology integration seamless. The overall goal is to improve technology use in education through the SAMR model and coaching of teachers.
