Water pollution throughout the world is affecting food chains and food webs. Water such as lakes, rivers, streams, creeks, and oceans become polluted in many different ways. One main way is the dumping of trash, or littering. Many creeks, rivers, and even oceans have been polluted by manmade items such as trash (EPA, 2011). When fresh water such as rivers and creeks become polluted, it hurts the surrounding wildlife.
water pollution control and measurmentRekha Kumari
Today we all are facing the biggest problem that is scarcity of drinking water as the level of water is continually decreasing.
In many countries people die because of contaminated water as they do not have any water resources that contain pure water.
The first question comes in mind when we talk about water management is how can we manage water. For this we need some well-planned strategies like if we know the places where heavy rainfall occur, then we can put extra efforts there in order to save water for future use.

Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring contaminants. Pollution is often classed as point source or non point source pollution. In 2015, pollution killed 9 million people in the world

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

3. Definition of water pollution
Water pollution: is the contamination of water bodies
(e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater).
Water pollution occurs when pollutants are directly or
indirectly discharged into water bodies without
adequate treatment to remove harmful compounds.
4. Types of water pollutionTypes of water pollution
Toxic Substance: The greatest contributors to toxic pollution are
herbicides, pesticides and industrial compounds.
Organic Substance: Organic pollution occurs when an excess
of organic matter, such as manure or sewage, enters the water.
Thermal Pollution: Thermal pollution can occur when water
is used as a coolant near a power or industrial plant and then is
returned to the aquatic environment at a higher temperature than
it was originally
Ecological Pollution: Ecological pollution takes place when
chemical pollution, organic pollution or thermal pollution are
caused by nature rather than by human activity.
6. Effects of water pollution
Death of aquatic (water) animals:
The main problem caused by water pollution is that it kills life that
depends on these water bodies. Dead fish, crabs, birds and sea gulls,
dolphins.
Disruption of food-chains.
Diseases
Disruptions of ecosystems
8. Reduce of water pollution
Conserving and Recycling
1. Conserve water.
2. Don't throw litter into sinks and toilets
3. Help clean up litter in water-filled areas
