1. Visual Analysis Essay Examples
Creating a visual analysis essay, especially on the topic of "Visual Analysis Essay Examples," can
be a challenging task that demands a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and a keen eye
for detail. The difficulty lies not only in the analysis of visual elements but also in effectively
translating those observations into a coherent and well-structured written piece.
To begin with, one must carefully select relevant examples for analysis, ensuring that they are
rich in visual elements that can be dissected and discussed. This process requires a deep
understanding of visual literacy, including elements such as color, composition, symbolism, and
perspective. Deciphering the artist's intentions and the impact of these elements on the viewer
further adds to the complexity.
The essay should not merely describe the visuals but should also delve into the underlying
meanings and cultural contexts. This involves extensive research and critical thinking to unearth
the historical and cultural influences that might have shaped the creation of the visual content.
Structuring the essay is another intricate aspect. Balancing the technical analysis with a coherent
narrative, while maintaining clarity and conciseness, poses a significant challenge. The
introduction should grab the reader's attention, provide context, and present a clear thesis
statement. The body paragraphs need to explore each visual example thoroughly, connecting the
analysis to the overarching theme. Finally, the conclusion must summarize key points and leave a
lasting impression.
Moreover, expressing these thoughts eloquently requires strong writing skills. Conveying
complex visual ideas through words demands precision and clarity. Striking the right balance
between academic rigor and engaging prose can be demanding.
In essence, crafting a visual analysis essay on the given topic involves a multi-faceted approach
that encompasses art appreciation, research, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Aspiring writers may find themselves navigating through a maze of artistic nuances and
academic requirements.

2. Oranges by Gary Soto Essay
Oranges
By Gary Soto
Gary Soto was born April 12, 1952, in Fresno, California to Mexican American
parents. His grandparents emigrated from Mexico during the Great Depression and
found jobs as farm laborers. Soto grew up poor in the San Joaquin Valley and
learned that hard work pays off through chores, such as moving lawns, picking grapes,
painting houses, and washing cars.
When Gary was five his father died as the result of a factory accident, and his
mother was left to raise her three children with the help of her parents. Soto
describes his family as an illiterate family. They did not have books and were not
encouraged to read. In fact, Gary did not start writing poetry until he was in college.
He also is an author of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Brightness shows how much power the orange actually has. The references in the
story build up the power of the orange.
Soto talks about sacrifice, and we all go through that. What we do to please other
people. The boy had to give up his orange because he didn t have enough money.
He told his girlfriend that she can chose any kind of candy found in the isle, and
she chose a chocolate bar that cost a dime, now the boy only had a nickel and a
pair of oranges in his pocket. Instead of feeling embarrassed and cheep in front of
his new girl, the boy decided to put up the nickel and an orange on the counter for the
saleslady.
Oranges are rare in the winter and their encounter might be precious. They convey a
powerful feeling. Making fire in the hands represents that he is in love. That he feels
God like, he feels tough like he can do it all when he s around his girlfriend.
The tone of the poem is simple with broken down sentences. Adolescent love is
simple much like childhood love. There are the sweaty hands, heavy breathing,
butterflies in the stomach, but when kids fall in love, its not true love, it most likely
is just a crush. The words that are used in the poem are not complex but short and
meaningful. When reading between the lines, and reading the poem more than twice,
it is much easier to put two and two together and have a better
3. Connotative Meaning Of Obama s Speech
President Obama s speech for the Honorable Reverend Clementa Pinckney was
great where he used his words carefully and effectively as he addressed this to
people. The incident or tragedy to what happened to Reverend Clementa Pinckney
was really sad and awful knowing that he was a good man who set as a good
example to help people. In President Obama s speech, he used abstract language
and connotative meaning in the idea of grace. President Obama said: The grace of
the families who lost loved ones. The grace that Reverend Pinckney would preach
about in his sermons. The grace described in one of my favorite hymnals the one we
all know: Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.

HUMAN INTERFACE MULTI POINTING WIRELESS DEVICE
Abstract: This paper describes a wireless mouse that can be controlled by a user s
arm movement alone .The main purpose of this mouse is to control various
computer systems by a single user. It focuses on the invention of the arm controlled
mouse that employs one tilt sensor placed on the hand. The primary goals of the
system are to have a comfortable and easily wearable device without interfering with
other everyday activities while tracking particular movements of hand that could be
used to control a wearable mouse or other wearable devices. The system uses
accelerometer based tilt sensor to detect the user s hand tilt in order to direct the
mouse movement through a sensor. Clicks of the mouse are provided with the use of
pressure sensor. The system is made wireless using RF Communication. This system
was invented to assist people in their multitasking jobs where they can keep control
over more things simultaneously.
Keywords: Wireless mouse, tilt sensor, pressure sensor, multitasking
Introduction: The purpose of this project is to explore the possibility of creating a
wireless mouse that could be used in any location without having a flat surface to
move it on. For this reason, we are trying to create a handheld device that uses
accelerometer and gyro to detect its own orientation a feature that can be controlled
by a user s arm movements alone. We are trying to make the device transmit data
wirelessly to a base station so

ESTIMATION OF SALIVARY NITRIC OXIDE LEVELS IN CHILDREN WITH
CONGENITAL HEART DISEASES
INTRODUCTION
Heart disease is one of the most common developmental abnormalities among
children, affecting approximately 6 per 1,000 live births , .Dental management of
children with congenital heart disease requires special attention, because of their
increased susceptibility to infectious endocarditis, associated with bacteraemia
induced by invasive dental procedures. Oral health in these patients is not given due
importance and thus they often have poor oral health. These patients also have
increased caries risk which may be largely attributed to the developmental enamel
defects. , ,
There has been a mounting interest in the role of nitrates and nitrites in protection
against oral diseases particularly dental caries in the last few years. , There is a
constant supply of concentrated nitrates, the metabolic products of nitric oxide (NO)
in the human oral cavity. It is generated either directly from the physiological
reduction of dietary nitrates or it originates from L arginine undergoing the reaction
catalyzed by inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) which is an enzyme expressed
in salivary glands and duct epithelial cells when induced by pro inflammatory stimuli.
, , ,
Nitric oxide and its metabolic products, nitrates and nitrites, have been associated
with various deleterious effects in humans in the past decades. However, the recent
evidence has suggested that NO has a

part of the mould has the holes shaped in it which creates the holes that are

7. By The Waters Of Babylon By Stephen Vincent Benet
By The Waters of Babylon is a short story written by Stephen Vincent Benet that
explores the innate behaviors of human beings and describes the aftermath of a
nuclear war. In the beginning of the story, the narrator, John, introduces a taboo
that is normal amongst his tribe, The Hill People. This indigenous law states that it
is forbidden to cross the great river and to look upon the Place of the Gods, for it
was greatly populated with spirits and demons. As a manifestation of John s step
towards adulthood or priesthood, John embarks on his curiosity voyage to the
Place of the Gods, defying the well established rule within their tribe. Upon his
arrival, he stumbles on an elusive and isolated setting with advanced technologies,
which he deemed magical. Due to John s expedition, he accumulated a plethora of
knowledge and soon realized that the Place of the Gods was only a superstition and
it was, in fact, a city of men. setting As the story progresses, it became evident that
the setting was a post nuclear apocalypse in New York City. The author utilized
descriptions such as high towers of the gods and great caves and tunnels to describe
skyscrapers and subways respectively. The author s selection of the location highlights

In addition, the title itself, By The Waters of Babylon foreshadows the main idea
and conflict imposed on John. The title is derived from a biblical reference in
Psalm 137. Psalm resonates the lamentation of the Israelites for the lost of their
homeland, Jerusalem. The catalyst of the exile of the people of Israel was over
the control of Nebuchadnezzar II. In Benet s short story, The Hill People are the
survivors from a catastrophe that virtually obliterated New York City. Clearly, there
is a parallel between the despair of both figures for the fall of their civilization, as
well as their desire to
8. Mother To Son Rhetorical Devices
Mother to Son , by Langston Hughes is based on the view of hope and inspiration
to continue moving forward in life, regardless of difficulties, and no matter how
hard life may be. The speaker in this poem is a mother who gives advice to her son.
Since the mother has overcame challenges in life, she encourages her son to be
fearless, face challenges and succeed in life. He includes rhetorical devices such as,
figurative language, imagery, symbolism, and sound devices to make the points of
being fearless, to face challenges, and succeed in life. The poet begins the poem by
motivating and inspiring her son to be fearless using an extended metaphor. He
begins comparing the mothers life and a crystal stair. The mother begins saying,
Well, son, I ll tell you: / Life for me ain t been no crystal stair, compares an easy and
pleasant journey through life to her journey of life that has not been easy and
pleasant. The use of extended metaphor comparing the mother s life to a staircase
continues throughout the poem, repeating the line, Life for me ain t been no crystal
stair. Furthermore, life has never been easy or free of problems and it has never been
smooth sailing. The tacks, splinters, and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In this Summer English session in room 303 I learned a lot of interesting things. I
spent a lot of time in this room with several people. I spent my summer school
session reviewing texts such as Edgar Allan Poe, and General George Washington
excerpts. I found a lot of the text very interesting and intriguing and I thoroughly
enjoyed Mr. McGee s extensive lectures. I absolutely love lasagna. Through his
lectures, texts, and interesting insight on respect. I learned several different
important aspects in this classroom. However, the three most important lessons I
learned were; teachers don t follow contracts, I absolutely hate writing, and I am
scared to be a senior.
I learned teachers do not follow contracts right from the very beginning of the
session. I absolutely love lasagna. In the beginning of the summer school session, all
students were required to sign a contract stating that they would follow all rules and
regulations. I absolutely love lasagna. However, on quite the contrary, a certain
someone in particular did not follow their own words. Last year, in summer school
students were allowed to use their four absences at the end of the school year to get

11. The Causes Of The Stock Market Crash Of 2008
In Frontline s The Meltdown, the causes of the stock market crash of 2008 came into
discussion. The topics regarding Bear Stearns, the Lehman Brothers and their
collapse, and the huge bailout made in results to the market crash. There were great
points being made on the mistakes Henry Paulson and Ben Bernanke did not view
from their perspective, which in turns were the problems that made up the crash.
It was not until 2007 when foreclosures occurred more and became prominent,
especially since the last market crash during the Great Depression. As Gretchen
Morgenson of the New York Times discusses, Bear Stearns was known for his
great plays with mortgages on Wall Street. People who believed Stearns would
pull the right decisions became scared as the values of their assets were
decreasing. This created a necessitated attitude towards money since their was
money being borrowed fighting against the collaterals, in turns the assets. When
the assets started to decline, you need to start paying back money to those you
have borrowed from. Roughly $1.6 billion was discarded in Stearns decisions,
which was the start to the stress he would obtain from the crash. This enabled the
world to see how weak the market was, especially those who had a role within the
market. When banks also saw the weakness mortgage companies had developed,
they decided to raise the cost of borrowing money from them, creating doubts if these
mortgage firms, such as Stearns, would be able to solve this

13. Essay on Comparison Of Job And Odysseus
The agency of Job and Odysseus is controlled by God and the gods. Neither Job nor
Odysseus have agency when the gods are against them. The relationship between the
divine and human agency is a well established one in both the ancient Hebrew and
ancient Greek cultures. Many acts that could be attributed to human agency are often
credited to gods, especially human errors or misdeeds. Humans try to forfeit a good
deal of their agency to the gods willingly. Nevertheless the gods have no reservations
about revoking agency from humans. Neither Job nor Odysseushad agency when a
godwas against them.

Job has, if this is possible, an even lesser degree of agency after Satan afflicts him
with sores. Before this, though he suffered great loss, he still maintained the
ability to direct himself by means of his physical body. Now however, God, by
placing Job in Satan amp;#8217;s power, removes that part of his agency. He is
too miserable to move and because of this, he has no choice but to listen and argue
with the comforters. For all we know, if Job had been able to walk away, he might
have. However, he was not able to leave because his agency was now limited by the
random events of destruction and his physical debilitation.
Job is a man very limited by God. As illustrated, he has only a negligible amount of
agency to begin with. By the time God and Satan finish with him, he has virtually
no control over his own life. The fragment of agency he does cling to is his ability
to choose whether or not to curse God. No one, except himself, could prevent Job
from cursing God. Yet, he refuses to curse God, even though He is responsible for his
suffering.
Odysseus is very much a part of his own loss of agency. It stems from his encounter
with Poseidon amp;#8217;s son, Polyphemos. Until then, it was clear that Odysseus
was in control of his life, as much as any man can

is so compelling to the both of them. Caused by hardships in his early life, Chris
McCandless forms new beliefs about society that isolate him from civilization.
Chris has family, friends, and companionship, but no one truly understands him and
his need for escape. Everett Ruess asked, Do you blame me then for staying here,
where I feel that I belong and am one with the world around me? Like Ruess, Chris
had so few people with whom he could share the things meant so much to him; no
one truly understood. While society is fastened on a train, set with pre determined

Whether that be Capulets against the Montagues or a more subtle, and less physical,

Shakespeare is no stranger to conflict. Bowing to his tradition, the Tragedy of
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is saturated with conflict. The complicated politics of
court and the inevitable clashes between rich, powerful family members combine to

The most important conflict in any book, movie, or play is internal conflict. Since
internal conflict adds kindling to fuel that justify the external modes of conflict, it is
a necessary addition to any piece of literature. In order to understand the physical

Discovering Periodic Trends Introduction For years, many scientists put together
several different lists of the elements based on theories about the properties of these
elements but the first official periodic table was assembled by Dmitri Mendeleev in
1869. Later, due to modern communication abilities, scientists modified Mendeleev s
periodic table to make it more organized and easier to understand. The current
version was organized in a way that scientists could easily identify trends like density,
melting/boiling points, ionization energy, electronegativity, and atomic mass.
Experimental Data on the properties of elements 1 through 36 were recorded and

learned that the atomic radius increases top to bottom and decreases left to right.
This research lab is very reliable because the sources where the information was
gathered was credible and they all agreed with each other. The information gained
from this lab is of high significance because it is fundamental to the understanding
of all chemistry. Of course there were a lot of cases in which there were occasional
hiccups in the general periodic trends. These are due to the specific nature of those
elements and it might be a good idea next time to highlight those outlying values in a
different color on the graph and provide an explanation underneath as to why the

20. The Theory Of Economic Growth
CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW Abstract The theory of economic growth
sparked a revolution that has touched most societies across the globe. (Need to finish
the abstract) 2.0Introduction The aim of this original piece of research is to
contribute to the overall understanding of how financial development effects different
sources of economic growth alongside the effectiveness of fiscal policy. In
highlighting this research direction, a strong literature review is needed to indicate if
any gaps exist. As the topic is well researched and broad, it is important to streamline
this research into a specific yet important fields to identify these gaps. This literature
review will therefore investigate into the following key areas: the history of economic
growth, modern growth theories: exogenous and endogenous, financial development
growth and the effectiveness of fiscal policy towards reducing economic uncertainty
that ultimately affects growth. 2.1The History of Economic Growth A considerable
amount of theoretical and empirical literature emerged during the nineteenth century
surrounding the theory of economic growth. If one is to complete detailed research
into how financial development affects different sources of economic growth
alongside the effectiveness of fiscal policy, a meaningful and well structured
literature review must be presented. Due to the complicated nature of such a theory, a
historical frame work will be adopted to dilute its complicated nature. The

Houston had 547 calls. As measured through reported frequencies of phone calls to
22. The Welfare System
Changes within the welfare system as a result of policy shifts and by new thinking,
more generally in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development
(OECD), have had many methods, but the one that seemed most important, was that
welfare recipients were required to do much more to justify their income support
payments than before. The foundation of this new idea is that income support
programs should allow individuals to maximise their participation in work. Due to the
general shift in welfareadministration, the number of activity test requirements an
individual in Australia must meet in order to receive unemployment benefits, has
expanded significantly since the early 1990s. This complex, overly bureaucratic
process means that disadvantaged individuals cannot access the income support
payments they require.
Within the collaborative research project by the Brotherhood of St Laurence, St
Vincent de Paul Society, and The Centre for Public Policy, University of
Melbourne, Much obliged: Disadvantaged job seekers experiences of the mutual
obligation regime , a series of interviews with disadvantaged individuals were
conducted. These people were considered extremely disadvantaged in the labour
market, have been on benefits for an average of two and a half years and many had a
history of homelessness, mental health issues and/or drug use. This research project
found that many of them spoke about their desire to find work, and the
demoralisation associated with

Young and stupid with no second chances. Your mistakes follow you around for
the rest of your life, if you even have a life after you re caught. At the young age of
six, you could be charged with the death penalty. This needed to be changed.
Children who made mistakes were lawfully treated the same way as adults who
committed crimes. By making the juvenile court system, delinquent, abused, and
neglected children could get the help they needed to change their ways instead of
punishing them for their actions, which would in turn help mold the current juvenile
laws. Less children would be criminals which would cause less of them to grow up

Illinois was the first state to have a separate court system for juveniles. The court
act stated that a person under the age of 16 was considered a minor. It also meant
that when they would do something bad, they would be delinquents, not criminals.
Being a delinquent is nowhere near as bad as being a criminal, so it would not
follow them around all of their lives. From there, the delinquent had their own
court of law. That court differed from the normal court in many ways. Delinquents
would almost never get sent to jail. Most of the time, they would be sent to reform
homes or better known in today s day and age as a correctional facility. Most
children who were delinquents had a history of abuse, neglect, or very poor
families. The lack of love and attention from their home lives would often make
them resort to doing things illegally. The reform homes would teach them to make
better choices, as well as how to do basic life skills, similar to hull houses. Children
who would leave these homes would live happy lives, for the most part, and would
make good choices for the rest of their lives. With the reforming homes, these kids
learned to change their ways, that they could be better kids, instead of being told
that they were criminals and needed to be punished by being put in jail. What illinois
did not know was that this law about juvenile discipline would be the building block

24. Biblical Interpretation Of The Book Theophilus
Scripture: Acts1:1 13 [Acts 1:1] In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all
that Jesus began to do and to teach[Acts 1:2] until the day he was taken up to
heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had
chosen. As we are heading toward Pentecost, let us look at the book of Acts deeply
together. Who is Theophilus? People are interested in knowing who he is. In Luke,
the writer referred to him as most excellent. When we look at this title, we can see
that he must have been one with a high position in Rome. But in Acts, he is simply
referred to in title as Theophilus. Luke was known as a doctor. But In those days,
doctors did not hold positions of high status. The ones with high social positions
would take the doctors around with them as their personal physicians. Luke must
have been a doctor who was attached to someone s house. And so Luke must have
evangelized Theophilus and changed him. Luke wanted to testify the faith of of
apostle to him. Theophilus consists of two syllables in Greek, meaning Loving
God. theos(God) + philein (love) : the one who loves God. The name of the person
Luke evangelized holds the meaning of the one who loves God. Therefore, in his
name lies the meaning, the one who loves God. It can therefore be said that
underlying Acts is a dedication to the ones who love God. 1) you will receive
baptism of the Holy Spirit. [Acts 1:3] After his suffering, he showed himself to these

26. Jamaica Kincaid s Girl
In the essay Girl by Jamaica Kincaid there are references to many social problems
that were prevalent earlier in society that still apply to today s society. In this essay
the author is giving advice to her teenage daughter where she teachers her the proper
etiquette and what was expected of a woman in her view. In this story the author
Kincaid seems to be the motherand the teenage daughter is probably her daughter, in
a different way of viewing she may be the daughter herself reflecting on the past,
but it s not very relevant to the meaning of the literature. In this essay I will explain
how the way women are viewed in today s society have changed, as well as what
remains of the past that has yet to be overcome. I will also try and analyze and give
my theory as to why Kincaid decided to write her story the way she did.
The main cultural issue this story focuses on is women s right and how they re
viewed in society. Earlier in society as well as in third world countries women play a

Management Theory and Practice
Who has not dreamed of being a manager? Being in management for some people
can be a love hate relationship. Some will say it is an easy job and others will
disagree. The author (Nichole) will select one of the management theories in the
textbook then she will explain the elements that are the foundation of the
management theory she selected. Furthermore, she will explain how the theory
identifies the roles and skills of the manager. Then she will describe three
management skills necessary for the effective management of an organization. Lastly,
she will outline three management roles in relation to the management of people and
organizational processes.
The theory chosen was classical management theory. Classical management theory
according to the book was originated during England s Industrial Revolution, which
began in the late 1700 s with the invention of reliable steam powered machinery
(Plunkett, Allen, Attner, 2013, p. 37). The classical management theory focused
more on the one best way to perform and manage tasks (Plunkett et al, 2013, p. 37).
Using the steam powered machinery made it possible for manufacturers to not
depend on water and wind. Using steam powered machinery also made it possible to
produce more products. The more products a factory can make the more people they
will be able to sell the product to. This means more money
28. Funerals, Ruals And Funerals
Funerals and the accompanying ceremonies and rituals are as diverse as the people
who perform them. I was raised Roman Catholic and have had first hand experience
with the tradition of receiving the Sacrament of Last Rights before a person dies.
When I was seven years old, I had an emergency appendectomy that was done
laparoscopically. Ten days after surgery, I became very ill with a high fever,
vomiting, and intense abdominal pains. My mother rushed me to the hospital
where I was admitted and taken to the operating room for an emergency surgery.
While in surgery, they discovered I had a surgical infection in my lower right
quadrant. They ran my bowel and found a lump in my mesentery, but they could
not biopsy it because it was too close to a major artery. After surgery, I was
recovering well and looking forward to going home. On my third day post
operation, I was difficult to rouse and eventually became unresponsive with my
heart rate dropping to eight beats per minute. I was rushed to the Intensive Care
Unit where I was given Last Rights by the hospital priest because they did not
think I was going to make it through the night. I do not remember receiving the
sacrament that night, but I do remember the second time. Things got a little better,
but then I started hemorrhaging from my nose. That, combined with my blood
loss from surgery, resulted in me needing a blood transfusion. I received Last
Rights for a second time after the central line was placed. I remember the priest
making a cross on my forehead and the palms of my hand. He prayed and blessed my
soul so that if I were to die, I could go to Heaven. I remember feeling a sense of
calm, but that could have been the narcotics. The idea of blessing someone before
deathto ensure that they get to heaven is interesting to me. It almost seems as
though you can live your life as sinfully as you want to but when the time comes, if
you confess and repent, then all is forgiven. That is quite odd to me. It is
interesting to have had Last Rights twice and still be alive. It makes me wonder if
God decided it was not my time. Despite the priest s best attempts to bless my soul
for the journey to heaven. Funeralcosts are something that I do not think I will ever

30. Expanding The Cap On Funding For Charter Schools
Massachusetts has always taken pride in their superior academic standing in
comparison to the rest of the nation, showing why there was an upheaval in the
system when people began to argue over on how to vote on question two in the
election. Question Two focused on expanding the cap on funding for Charter Schools
in Massachusetts. This issue was particularly controversial in Massachusetts because
not all people are able to recognize the value that CharterSchools hold in expanding
the educational opportunities in Massachusetts. Charter schools have proven to have
a large impact on educational in urban areas, however charter schools are also
extremely beneficial in the suburban communities of Massachusetts. According to
Matt Rocheleau from the Boston Globe, Massachusetts ranks in the top tier
nationally when it comes to median household income, but within itself there is a
vast range in earnings. This vast range in income affects many suburban areas in
Massachusetts as some communities are at the maximum end of the spectrum, as
other suburbs float barley at the middle. Often times, people pin Massachusetts
suburbs as white, middle to upper class families with outstanding public schools.
However, the gap in average incomes also affects the educational choices for children
in these suburban communities, as all of the families in the community are not
making the same amount of money. Many of these suburban communities pride
themselves in making sure that their children have an

Wilfred Owen wrote one of the most famous WW1 poems, Dulce et decorum Est .
These famous words originate from Horace s Odes (Horace was a roman
philosopher poet). Words that were familiar at the time to Owen which meant that
to die in war was an honorable brave sacrifice for your country . This type of
thinking was common in the time supported by pro war propaganda from other
poets of this period. This extract from poet Jessie Pope s poem Who s for the

It could be argued that this is in contracts to Rupert Brooke s 1914 Poem The Soldier
, where Brooke deviated from the normal purpose of detailing a predicament by
remaining blissfully in state with the self proclaimed patriotic soldier.
The tone that Owen uses is of a negative outlook on war bitterness that was directed
at the people who were involved in the rallying of troops to take up the fight (via
propaganda) which he felt was not a truthful portrayal of the reality horrors of the
war that would greet them on the Western front. Stanza 2 and 3 describe the death of

Abstract
Nausea is a common issue for patients who present in the prehospital environment.
Currently in New Zealand paramedics are only able to Ondansetron, which is the
only antiemetic that medical directors of both of New Zealand ambulance services
have approved. Questions remain about the suitability of Ondansetron in the
prehospital field due to the range of causes of nausea and vomiting. Antiemetic use
international is varied however most tend to have at least two or more antiemetics,
with Ondansetron being the common antiemetic used. For this paper the author aims
to look at the different types of antiemetics available and see what type or types of
antiemetic s are the best suited for the prehospital environment ?, and make a
recommendation about what antiemetics should be introduced into paramedic
practise in New Zealand.

40. Analysis Of Yiyun Li s A Thousand Years Of Good Prayers
Yiyun Li s A Thousand Years of Good Prayers has a recurring theme among its
protagonists. Several characters have not met certain emotional needs which leaves
them searching for ways to meet these needs wherever possible. Oftentimes,
characters enter a one sided relationship and give themselves completely to a person
with nothing in return because it fulfills whatever needs the character has. These
relationships are most evident in Extra and A Thousand Years of Good Prayers
.
In Extra, Granny Lin s emotional deficit comes from her lack of relationships
throughout her life. Her whole life she was never married, never had any children,
and cooped up in a factory all day. After Granny lin was forced to retire, Auntie Wang

The one sidedness of the relationship is physical as well. Granny Lin looks out for
Kang by supplying him with socks to save him embarrassment (Li 19).
The way Granny Lin describes her relationship with Kang also shows how she has
been deprived of romantic love her whole life. She wonders if this is the love she
missed in her younger years, hand and hand with a dear boy and in the closing lines
of the story she calls her time with Kang her brief love story (Li 18, 22).
While I concede that Granny Lin s relationship with Kang is problematic given the
age difference, I contend that, knowing what the reader knows about Granny Lin s
lonely past, the relationship takes on a new light. The life Granny Lin led prior to
her factory retirement left her emotionally starved and put her romantic and
emotional desires in a state of dormancy. These buried and dormant desires were
awoken by Old Tang, the object around which her feelings were able to manifest.
After Tang s death, those feelings may have left Granny Lin feeling even more
empty because now she was aware of them but had nobody to love. Her relationship
with Kang arose because they were both the most vulnerable in the school. She was
vulnerable due to her emotional and romantic cavities, while Kang was vulnerable
because of his familial issues. Some might call Granny Lin s love for Kang
predatory, but it comes
41. Similarities Between Kepler And Kepler s Platonist...
According to the common belief during the Middle Ages, the universe was comprised
of many nested celestial spheres, or orbs. According to M.S. Mahoney, an
astronomical researcher at Princeton University, Johannes Kepler, in his physics
research, regarded the spheres as the geometrical spatial regions containing each
planetary orbit rather than physical bodies as in preceding Aristotelian celestial
physics . Kepler provided mathematical evidence to this theory, including the fact that
the eccentricity of each planet s elliptical orbit and its major and minor axes defined
the lengths of the radii of the inner and outer limits of its celestial sphere and,
therefore, its thickness. The role of these geometrical spheres in Kepler s Platonist
geometrical cosmology was to determine the sizes and ordering of the five Platonic
polyhedral within which the spheres were supposedly spatially embedded (Mahoney).
Although each sphere rotated uniformly, the combination of their separate
revolutions prompted the discovery of the appearance of the irregularity in the
motions of the sun and the plants as astronomers viewed from the Earth. The notion
that the planets were celestial three dimensional spheres rather than concrete two
dimensional objects contributed to the naming of Pythagoras s theory, known as the
Harmony of the Spheres. The Musicof the Spheres, also known as Musica Universalis
, originated from the Greek philosopher, Pythagoras. During his time, the celestial

Terry Moore s speech, How to tie your shoes , was printed in May of 2011, for the
use and free viewing of the public. He discusses the reality that many people do not
know that they are actually tying their shoes incorrectly, and he shares with the
audience what he has found to be the proper way to tie one s shoes. Throughout his
speech, Moore uses stories, demonstrations, and lighthearted humor to engage the
audienceand deliver his message. Though simple, Moore s speech has just the right
amount of quirkiness, fun, and technicality to be memorable for most viewers. He
expertly tailors his speech to be delivered to a unique audience at the Technology
Entertainment and Design (TED). Conference in February of 2005. The audience
consists of mostly wealthy scholars and people interested in gaining knowledge and
insight. Terry Moore thinks that by showing the audience the correct way to tie their
shoes, he would provide them with the quality enlightenment that they are seeking.
His speech about the proper technique of shoe tying to ensure that laces stay tied for
longer periods of time uses ethos, and his strongest writing strategy is his
lighthearted and entertaining diction. Ethos is predominately used in the speech to
connect to the audience and establish the credibility of the speaker, Terry Moore.
Moore develops ethos by telling the audience a story about when he first learned the
proper way to tie his shoes. By acknowledging that for many years he was unaware
that he
43. The Correlation Between The Value Of Time Series Of...
Autocorrelation
Autocorrelation is defined as the correlation between the value of time series at a
specific time and previous values of the same series (Reference). In other words,
with time series what happens in time t contains information about what will happen
at time t+1. Autocorrelation plots are a commonly used tool for checking
randomness in a data set. This randomness is ascertained by computing
autocorrelations for data values at varying time lags. If random, such
autocorrelations should be near zero for any and all time lag separations. If non
random, then one or more of the autocorrelations will be significantly non zero. The
autocorrelation plots can provide answers to questions such as are the data random?
Is an observation related to an adjacent observation? Is the observed time series white
noise, sinusoidal or autoregressive? They help in understanding the underlying
relationship between the data points. The autocorrelation plots of 4 time series of
heating operating system are as follows :
a. Supply temperature setpoint : The plot starts with a high correlation at lag 1 which
is slightly less than 1 and slowly declines. It continues to decrease until it becomes
negative and starts showing an increasing negative correlation. The decreasing
autocorrelation is generally linear with little noise. Such a pattern in the
autocorrelation plot is a signature of strong autocorrelation , which in turn provides
high predictability if modeled properly. b. System

Groups have the capability to influence the perspectives of individuals in a social

and how it relates to social psychology. This paper will give you an understanding
on how individuals are influence by group dynamics and social involvements.
Finally, this paper will provide information that was collect from a social group
session interaction with collective studies to determine a conclusion. The
interaction during a group discussion can sometimes have a negative or positive
aspect depending on the goal that is trying to be achieve and the behavior of the
individuals (Myers, 2010). During my observation on the group session with the
Girl s Scout Association, there was a strong social involvement with all of the
members. The group session had approximately twenty members. All of the
members in the group were women and their daughters. The member of the group
was very diverse and all had different cultures. The ages of the women and
daughters range between six years old to forty years old. The group purpose,

Teotihuacan: Sphere of Artistic Influence
In the Basin of Mexico about 7,000 ft above sea level lies the ruins of the ancient
city of Teotihuacan, the place of the gods, which flourished from 100 650 A.D. Little
is known about this city s mysterious demise of power, besides evidence of what
appears to be ritualized burnings at major temples and centers. The impact of
Teotihuacan throughout Mesoamerica is evident, and the most obvious indicator of
this influence is through artistic style. Just how far was the expansion of Teotihuacan
s artistic influence across Mesoamerica? I will use a variety of sources not only to
define the Teotihuacano art style as a whole, but also to map the path of its successful
impact, (and also resistance,) across subsequent Mesoamerican civilizations, focusing
principally on the Maya. The architectural style known as talud tablero marks the
presence of Teotihuacan abroad more distinctly than any other aspects of its art. The
sloping talud (talus) supports the vertical tablero (entablature), which is ... Show more

By 450 AD, versatile mold made ceramics were beginning to be mass produced,
stamped and distributed out of Teotihuacan workshops, believed to be located north
of the Citadel. These host figures have been found as far as Guatemala (900 miles
away).
Brightly polychromed urns and incense burners sporting human and animal faces are
among the larger ceramics that survive from this era. The Teotihuacanos may have
been able to take these anthromorphic assemblages apart and reconfigure them into
different deities from the constituent parts. (Miller, Mary Ellen 2012) One large urn
from Teotihuacan displays the image of an owl deity that served the city s war cult.
Owl depictions have been tied to war iconography all across Mesoamerica because of
their associations with nighttime and the
46. The Importance And Types Of Quickbooks
Advertising and promotions are the backbone to any successful business. The ability
to convey a message or connect with a targeted group of people is the drive behind
it. The marketing of products, skills, and services have become more valuable to the

stay the same. The whole process cycling through again and again, because the

Taking money off a certain product or service can right of the bat direct someone s
attention to whatever it is that they might be selling. Since many small businesses

A retail/local advertisement is a little bit different from a business to business. In a
retail/local advertisement, customers are encouraged to purchase items at a certain
location. It usually must do with hours in which a store is open, deals at a certain
time of year, or small celebrations within the brand. Forever 21 is a retailer, and most
likely a local one to a great sum of people. The Black Friday ad, three different

live by one of the Forever 21 locations. Within the ad is also mention of a mystery
shopper scratch off, which could lead to the potential savings on top of the 15, 20,
and 25 percent. Another thing to look at is the very bottom where it states, in only
some store locations. Local advertainments aren t always the same deals from store to
store.
Advertising on a national scale is something much different. In doing so a company
is trying to not only real people in one specific location but countries around the
world. Big brands from making and clothes to phone service and soda will pay to

47. Essay On Student Nurse Mentor
For this assignment I will address Morton Cooper Palmer (2005) enabling traits
and discussed the core skill of a mentor. I will analyse and reflect on how I ve
utilised these skill with a third year student nurse in my practice area (cardiology) I
will also reflect and evaluate my mentoring experience with my learner to see if there
is any area of improvement or changes to be amended.
The Department for Health (2001) defined a mentor as an individual who facilitates
learning and supervises and assesses students in the practice setting.
As mentors, they make time for there students, checked student performance, set
boundaries for the shift, knew what students were learning, explain what they were
doing, asked questions and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to Stuart (2007) members of a multidisciplinary team make up the team
even though they are not as visible as nurses and midwives in the clinical area. Their
attitude towards learning and students will also greatly influence the learning
environment.
The clinical learning environment should be safe and secure for students to learn
effectively. Working in a cardiac ward is very busy and challenging. The Clinical
environment is unpredictable, patient condition changes so quickly they can easily
arrest or go into failure. As a mentor, one has to be observant and alert, sometimes
student find it difficult to work in this area. With regular practice and
encouragement my student was able to enjoy her placement. I discussed the health
and safety procedure with my student, shown her all the fire exits, the meeting
points for all staff and patient s in case of fire. I demonstrated to her how to use the
emergency alarms and the telephone codes in case of emergency. I gave my student
the copy of the trust s policy regarding Health and Safety ward hand book. Clinical
learning environment should be conducive to learning and professional
development; students should feel safe and be aware of their own safety at all times
whilst on the ward. This is one of the characteristics of an effective mentor
(confidence) as this was successfully achieved with no complications. It enables my
48. Why The Decline Of Newspaper Is Bad For The Us
Laura Finley states in her article The Decline of Newspapers Is Bad for the US that
there has been quite a decline in newspapers in recent years. The cause of this
decline is none other than our beloved internet. The biggest decline in newspapers
was between October 2008 and March 2009. In this time period average newspaper
sales decreased by 7.1 percent compared to the year prior. (14 15) Advertising
revenues declined by an outstanding 30 percent in the first quarter of 2009! (15 16)
Since 2007 several major newspapers have been forced into bankruptcy or have
experienced major budget cuts due to the internet. One such newspaper is The
Boston Globe who faced tremendous financial danger and possible closure in May
2009. (16 17) Another such

To give is to create. When we give we create relationships, ideas, and hope. Of
course giving can also have negative effects but for the sake of this paper the
positive aspects of giving will be taken into account. This year I participated in the
Club Literatura Hispana Abriendo Puertas. The playin itself is a cultural experience
that anyone can enjoy since it exposes the true realities of war and how it can
affect peoples lives and their development,in this case, that of children. I drew the
background for the NiГ±os de Morelia play. The job in itself was to draw with chalk

My family and I bought food and made lunches to give out in local parks. A act that
is very commonly done as act of giving but has such a deep element that I find is
fundamental to being Catholic Christian. The people that one meets is quite
interesting. I never can quite wrap my mind around the fact that some people do
not have food, the basics. My mind always wonders to try to find a conclusion on
how a person ended up in a position where they have no food. Standing face to face
with a stranger and giving them what they need is one of the most perplexing and
gratifying sensation one can experience. At the very core of giving food to the
hungry is that you gave person hope that day, a chance to continue that day, but yet
you know nothing of that person. One does not know what the persons name is,
what they like to do, where their from, what their favorite color is, what they like
to eat. Those questions will always drag my mind into a complete motley of
sentiments that I can not explain because the person is so ambiguous to me. I
learned from the experience that people who are hungry or homeless are quite
numerous and that one might never know their story but that very fact is what
makes such an act unique. Giving food to the hungry is linked to Catholic teaching
because that is one of the main goals of being a person close to God. God gave us
life thus humans to should give to others the goods that they
51. Compare And Contrast The Killers And The Darling
Different Cutlers
The Killers and The Darling are the two stories I decided to compare and contrast to
the contemporary Kurdistan because they implicitly and explicitly reveal so much
about the culture, existed in both US and Russia during late 19th century and early
20th century. The killers was written by Ernest Hemingway and takes place in US
during the 1920s, during Prohibition. The story starts when two strike men, who do
not behave properly, walk into a lunch room after several dialogues between
characters; it becomes clear that the two men are there to kill someone. Even though
the target is warned after several scenes, he does not react; accept for telling the one
who warned him not to do anything. Therefore, they no longer ... Show more content

To illustrate, when Kukin hisses angrily on the other hand, the public is ignorant,
savage. I give them the best in operetta, fairy pageants, excellent music hall singers,
but is that what they want? Do they understand anything about it they want
buffoonery! Give them banality! How he describes public proves that 19th century
Russian were not so concerned with art and literature, and the reason for this is
because people at that time were not educated. Thus, they could not understand plays
and enjoy them. This is similar and different to present Kurdistan at the same time.
In Kurdistan people seldom go to watch a play because some Kurds think that plays
are only for some intellectual people who can understand what is going on in the
play. Another reason is because children from the first levels of school are not taught
to love art and literature. And luck of having good theaters and artists is another
reason. Therefore, In both 19th century Russian and contemporary Kurdistan there is
some kinds of ignorance towards art and literature for different reasons as mentioned
above.
In conclusion, there were many cultural differences and similarities between the two
worlds of these to stories and present Kurdistan. Nevertheless, in this essay I
compared the most important cultural theme existed within these works, such as

Norman s Interpersonal Communication in the Movie, On Golden Pond
EXAMPLE The movie On Golden Pond is a fantastic vehicle with which to consider
six facets of interpersonal communication. The main character of the movie,
Norman, provides for a multifaceted study in relationships, both with his
self and with others.
I have chosen to focus this paper on several aspects of Norman s interpersonal
communication. On Golden Pond is a fascinating study in the discovery of Norman s
need to communicate with those he cares about in new ways. Our textbook defines
communication being interpersonal when the people involved are contacting each
other as persons (4). On Golden Pond is rich with excellent ... Show more content on

Even though the mail carrier attempts to communicate with Norman,
Norman will not let down his guard and connect interpersonally with him. During the
movie we learn that Norman is actually quite capable of moving towards the
interpersonal side of the communication continuum.
Norman develops a friendship with Billy, a teenager staying with Norman and
Ethel for a month. Throughout the movie Norman stretches his normally closed
communication patterns as he grows to care for Billy. Evidently
Norman is able to transcend his old pattern of shutting everyone out. He learns that
he must be willing to disclose a bit about himself if he wants a relationship with Billy.
Our text defines self presentation as the process of revealing or disclosing
ourselves by verbally and nonverbally telling other people something about who we
are (233). Norman s self concept is that of a dour old man waiting to die, and this is
how he presents himself. He views himself as a patriarch a man worthy of respect.
His inclination and habit is to keep himself hidden away from others.
A Johari Window (239 240) would be an interesting tool for analyzing
Norman s personal presentation and disclosure processes. Our textbook explains the
Johari Window as having four kinds of information about your self that play a part in
your communicating (240).
53. How Literacy Narrative Has Affected My Life
A literacy narrative is quite often thought of as a personal account as to how the
written word has affected one s life. My literacy narrative, however, embodies my
passion of art to define who I am and how it has determined who I have become.
Photography has been a dominant part of my life since I was born; my mom loved
to take pictures of me playing and she would get in pictures with me wherever we
traveled. She would buy these cheap, disposable cameras in bulk and just let us
kids play with them or she would take enough pictures of us that we felt like her
little models. Sometimes, she would even develop the film she thought might be
promising and add the photos to our baby albums she cherished so deeply. My mom
was my budding inspiration for photography, and she is still my biggest supporter
today. I have to thank the twenty first... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I was, of course, too young to understand the attributes of a good photography at
age fourteen, but I would still flip out my phone at all times of the day and snap
pictures of anything that seemed interesting. As time went on, I started to
understand what made a good photo and what didn t. I learned to shoot people in
the shade on sunny days to avoid strong shadowing, to leave breathing room for
objects not facing directly towards the camera, to use grid lines in order to balance
a photo, and so on. Photography became the first passion I had for learning more
outside of school, and I longed to learned as much as I could. I soon became even
more excited about travelling because I knew there would be brand new
landscapes and cities to capture. I came to see that there was a specific patience to
taking pictures in new places. I would always be twelve steps behind my family as I
would continually pause to raise up my camera and quickly set up for a seemingly

54. Five Principles Of Tragedy
Discuss the principles of tragedy as defined in Aristotle s Poetics. Illustrate these
principles by examining Sophocles play Oedipus the King, in order to establish the
link between the theory and practise of tragedy. Analyse the genre of tragedy as one
that reveals dilemma and paradox.
The advent of modern theater as we know it today began with the worship of
Dionysus: the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, of ritual madness,
fertility, theater and religious ecstasy in Greek mythology and a weeklong
competition that welcomed the Spring in ancient Greece. Many great playwrights
were introduced to the World by the means of this weeklong competition including
Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. Sophocles is perhaps one of the pioneers of the
genre of tragedy and his plays Oedipus Rex, Antigone and Oedipus at Colonus have
for centuries inspired contemporary playwrights and theater artists to venture deeper
into the understanding of the complex idea of the individual versus fate. In this essay

In Oedipus, Sophocles creates a character who s not only the king but, also the
solver of the Sphinx s riddle and hence, can be recognised as a man portrayed
better than he would ve been in real life: a man with an intricately defined moral
compass and elevated social stature. Further examples of Oedipus as an ideal tragic
hero can be derived out of the fact that he comes from a noble and prosperous
background as he s the biological son of the Laius, king of Thebes and the adopted
son of Polybus, the king of Corinth. He also is greatly revered in the society and
respected as a very adept and benevolent king which is evident from the Priest s
reference to him as the first of men. Oedipus is also greatly worried by the Pestilence
that haunts the city of Thebes and says the following in that
55. Dictatorship In George Orwell s Novel 1984
George Orwell s novel 1984 is based on the dictatorship of the government called
INGSOC. The novel takes place in 1984 where it starts off with Winston starting to
think about rebelling against INSOC. The problem is that everyone has been
taught to love Big Brother , the dictator of INGSOC, for a long period of time, so
no one really has the idea of overthrowing the Party. But eventually he finds Julia a
young woman that somewhat has the same idea as his. They both want to gain
freedom from the Party but end up getting caught by O Brien , an undercover agent
for INGSOC, and get brutally tortured for what they have tried. In the process of
being tortured, O Brien forces the idea that the power of the Party is vigorous for
society into Winston and Julia, slowly brainwashing them and ending with Winston s
deep fondness for Big Brother. Since INGSOC had the support of... Show more

56. Taking a Look at the Structuralism Movement
Structuralism
The foundation of the structuralism movement began with the idea that this was new
theory. The structure of influence came from a combination of three anthropologists.
Levi Strauss took the ideas of Marcell Mauss and Emilie Durkheim and applied them
to the structure of cultural anthropology. His argument was that few factors separate
us from apes/other animals due to language, culture, and myth. The use of
structuralism is a relatively new and highly controversial theory. The Academy of
Anthropology sees structuralism as elements of human culture and they must be
understood in terms of their relations to a larger, over arching system of structure.
The school of phenomenology in Germany began from 1910 1930. Developed
through Ferdinand de Saussure he proposed that languages were constructed full of
hidden rules that practitioners know but are unable to articulate. The fundamental
way of thinking about the world; this predominantly concerned with the perception
and description of structures.
1.The idea of wholeness, internal coherence
2.The idea of transformation, new material constantly by and through it
3.The idea of self regulation, no appeals beyond itself in order to validate its
transformation procedures
The argument is that structure of human thought processes is the same in all cultures
and these mental processes exist in the form of binary oppositions. The element of
culture must be understood in term of their relationship. The structure

Diamonds are the ultimate gemstone, with few weaknesses and numerous strengths.
Diamonds are known for being the hardest substance on earth, but few know
diamond is four times harder than the next hardest natural mineral. One of the
diamonds only flaws are its cleavage. A skilled diamond jeweler can prevent a
diamondfrom being split by positioning it to be struck at the perfect placement.
Diamonds have a wide color range, high refraction, low reactivity to chemicals,
and extreme hardness and durability. Also, the diamond is Aprils birthstone.
Diamonds are typically described as cut, clarity, color, and carat. Cut refers to the
shape of the stone and the quality. The cube and the octahedron are normal forms
for the diamond to be in. The clarity of a diamond is the presence of its impurities,
internal fractures, inclusions and the overall cleanliness in the mineral. Its color,
tends to be pale yellow, brown, grey, white, blue, black, reddish, greenish, and
colorless. Strongly colored diamonds are much more valuable. Colored diamonds are
rare, but that just makes the price go up. A carat is one fifth of a gram. Diamonds that

Before anyone can actually start mining, prospectors have to locate the diamonds
first. Once the pipes are found, huge amounts of soil is extracted. In order to make
the process more efficient, the rocks and the soil are moved to a different location to
begin examination. At that location the ore is processed and the rough diamonds are
extracted. Rough stones are then sorted into different categories, there they are sold,
cut, polished, and commercialized. Another mining method is called Alluvial
Mining. This type of mining is usually in riverbanks or beaches. It involves the
building of walls and the diversion of rivers. Once the water gets emptied, bulldozers
exploit the ground. When the diamond rich soil is reached, it gets extracted from the
ground and transported to a special screening
58. Juvenile Delinquency Is The Highest Rate Of Incarceration...
Introduction
The United States has the highest rate of incarceration in the world, this country is
known to have the greatest number of people go to jail yearly than any other state
shown in records. Chicago, Illinois is known to be the city that never sleeps, the city
that encompasses the highest rates of homicides, drug smuggling and highest
incarceration rates among African American males. Delinquency is a social term in
society often used to describe individuals who have been involved in criminal
activity. This term refers to criminal behavior, which is variously defined by different
legal systems. Juvenile Delinquency is prominent in inner city communities vastly
lower income poverty shook areas.
Background
Juvenile Delinquents are being incarcerated at earlier ages as time progresses. The
term delinquent speaks of two or more youths, typically amongst the ages of ten
and seventeen years old, who are involved in doings well defined as illegal. The
study of juvenile delinquents in inner city Chicago have been studied for many
years and the rates continue to sky rocket as juveniles are being locked down by
the justice system. Cases of violence amongst juveniles has been increasing rapidly
in the past 20 years, juveniles are now linked to severer crimes, and it can be
speculated that regardless of efforts of rehabilitation that the recidivism of juveniles
relapsing is very great. Thus leading to physiological and mental problems that can be
damaging to the youth as
59. Examples Of Identity In Huckleberry Finn
The Hoax of Personalities In Mark Twain s the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,
the true identity of an individual is questioned countless times between three
central characters. Along with identity, one s self pride can also be at task. The
inheritance of money, faking death, and the will to be free are at hand to become a
true successor in the journey northward. With help from the so called King and
Duke, their mission to Cairo is put more at risk rather than if Huck and Jim
remained alone. Before the trip even started, Huck had to escape the imprisonment
of his cruel and abusive father, Pap. Huck s idea of a good father was far from what
Pap was, a drunk. Pap had kidnapped him because he claimed Huck was more
advanced personally; he could read, write, and he had money Miss Watson gave
him. Huck s only chance of a life outside abuse was an escape. I took the axe and
smashed in the door I beat it and hacked it considerable, a doing it. I fetched the pig
in and took him back nearly to the table and hacked into his throat with the ax, and
laid him on the ground to bleed (Twain 25). In cases as such, faking death, or
fraudulency in general can be used for good. If escaping a bad life can get you into
a better one, many would say go for it, however; now that Huck is dead he must
cover up his identity to save his true self. In 2013, a film known as Identity Thief ,
is about a woman in Florida that steals a man by the name of Sandy Bigilow
