As a result, an increasing number of vehicles have sound proof design and acoustic
surrounding systems. However, when those in car appliances operate simultaneously,
it can be difficult for drivers to detect the approach of emergency vehicles such as

I have worked for toys for tots for the past 3 years. In my early years, I have been a
hard worker that gives my all and more, my business that is rapidly growing
throughout the years have been a hard working career that has given me many of
chances to explore the working life.
Thought school I have always been interested in learning about my Amendments,
The Constitution and my rights as an American citizen. Thought school I would
stay after so I could get more practice in for the laws when I get older. Throughout
school social studies was always my favorite study lessons. I would get tested on
laws and Amendments and pass them without a problem.in my future, I have always
wanted to work for the service even if that had meant being a police officer or a
firefighter or even in the military.
In school, I would help the teachers by staying after school and help tutor the kids
by giving them lessons on ASL or social studies because that was what I was good
at. Sometimes I would stay after and help the teachers by giving them lessons
plans for the next couple of days or I would help them teach the lesson. Or I would
stay and help grade them on test or quizzes and their paperwork. I was the teacher s
pet in middle school. In 7th grade, I would stay up for lunch and help my teacher
Mr.Reph help plan his daily schooling and he would offer me to stay doing his
periods to help teach them.

Back in the late 1990 s the Los Angeles Police Department was hit by a scandal in
which police officers in the Rampart division were accused of various crimes
which ranged from planting evidence, perjury, filing false police reports and
physical abuse of innocent victims and other crimes. The officers involved were
in a special gang task force called CRASH (community resources against street
hoodlums) which was created to combat gang related activity and crime in LAPD
areas. It was a major scandal because police officers are held to a higher moral
standard they are expected to not only uphold the law but abide by it as well.
Cognitive bias is a systematic error in thinking that affects the decisions and

played out with not only the officers who committed the crimes but also by the
detectives led the investigation and the chief of police himself.
The first incidence occurred in 1997 when undercover LAPD officer Lyga shot
and killed Gaines an off duty officer. Lyga did not know Gaines was a police
officer and feared for his life because Gaines was threatening him with a gun in a

they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their

The introductory philosophy student s inability to recognize argument structure
presents us with a problem that cannot be addressed simply by teaching logic. The
problem that confronts us addresses a fundamental pedagogical concern: Our task
is to instill in the student the habit of clear thinking. When we send our students
out into the world, we have to make sure that they re prepared for it. This is not
simply a matter of providing them with tools. We ve looked at logic that way and
we ve approached teaching logic that way for far too long. Certainly logic may be
employed as a tool; it can serve as an incredibly powerful tool, as we who teach it
know full well. But it s not logic per se that we should be concerned with in our
introductory courses. We want to teach our students how to think clearly and
responsibly. There is certainly a moral edge to this view of the situation, and the
manner in which we approach our pedagogical concern will not be without further
philosophical prejudice. Ours is Aristotelian. We have found that giving our
