Victor Horta was a pioneering Belgian architect who helped develop the Art Nouveau style in the late 19th century. Some of his most notable works include the Hôtel Tassel (1893), considered one of the first examples of Art Nouveau architecture, and the Hôtel Van Eetvelde (1901). Horta revolutionized architecture by using iron structures with glass and being one of the first to fully integrate decorative arts into his buildings. He continued working in different styles like Art Deco until his death, making important contributions to the development of modern architecture.
