2. Active sludge and river
actualy have the same
water treatment
principal. Both of them
use micro organisms to
break down harmful
chemical components
or contaminated water

3. • Bar Rack ,Grit Chamber : remove any heavy solid
materials that are greater than those of the organic
putrescible solids in wastewater.
•Primary Clarifier sedimented heavy organic solids
(suspended solids).
Aeration Tank ( Active sludge tank
aerobic processes will trigger Mixed liquor to
stimulate microorganismd so that the growth rate of
bacteria will be much faster
•Secondary Clarifier (final sedimentation)
sedimented fluk
•Disinfect make it free of disease-causing organisms.
Active sludge tanks create a
way to support microorganisms
so that microorganisms be
effective to degrade
contaminated water

4. Active sludge can be applied in
all food industries , textile
industries, etc. where high
removal rate of organic
pollution is required.
