The role of the Community Manager has changed from the days of bulletin boards, yet still most of the rules governing CM behaviour are still unwritten. This presentation draws on the homespun rules of cowboy behaviour, 'the Code of the West' which centered on hospitality, fair play, loyalty, and respect for the land as a template of the behaviours we expect of Community Managers today.

How To Talk Twitter: Presented by Nisha Maxwell and Jaclyn Mullen Jaclyn Mullen
As marketers, particularly social media marketers who operate our own agencies, the most common questions that we get asked by our clients regarding Twitter go a little something like this:
Is Twitter effective?
How can I measure my Twitter success?
Am I "tweeting" correctly?
Who should I be tweeting to?
While we're on the topic of "should"-- should I schedule my tweets or do I actually have to send them out myself?
How do I hire someone to help me with Twitter?
Do I tweet 2-3 times per day, 5-6, ten? What's the proper amount?
To answer those questions, Nisha Maxwell of Ideations and I taught a workshop on May 20th, 2014 at the Microsoft Store in Los Angeles, CA.
The presentation shared here is the very information we shared and presented to our attendees.

https://bit.ly/BabeSideDoll4u Babeside is a company that specializes in creating handcrafted reborn dolls. These dolls are designed to be incredibly lifelike, with realistic skin tones and hair, and they have become increasingly popular among collectors and those who use them for therapeutic purposes. At Babeside, we believe that our reborn dolls can provide comfort and healing to anyone who needs it.
The Healing Power of Babeside's Handcrafted Creations
Our reborn dolls are more than just beautiful pieces of art - they can also help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Studies have shown that holding or cuddling a soft object like a stuffed animal or a reborn doll can release oxytocin, which is often referred to as the "love hormone." This hormone helps us feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
In addition to their physical benefits, reborn dolls can also offer emotional support. For many people, having something to care for and nurture can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Reborn dolls can also serve as a reminder of happy memories or loved ones who have passed away.
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.

Editor's Notes
Combination of one to one forms of communication like skype – and one to many - like blogs- which push your information out to an audience.
Side by side communication - There’s no push, you don’t feel like you are being pushed a sale. They don’t feel like you are trying to sell you something, no defences are up, so if you say, ‘hey this is a cool link, go check it out,’ and someone will go check it out.
Fly on the wall
Twitter lets you write and read messages of up to 140 characters, or the very length of this sentence, including all punctuation and spaces.
The messages (also known as tweets) are public, and you decide which accounts you want to receive messages from
Twitter works equally well from your desktop or mobile phone

Twitter is a communication platform that helps placement services stay connected to prospective and current students and their clients – course , programs. As a provider, you can use it to quickly share information with people interested in Australian placements, gather real-time market intelligence and feedback, and build relationships with students, partners and other people who care about IDP.
Twitter enables IDP to have more frequent contact with students and interested parties who might not always hear your message in a timely manner, and encourages people to feel connected to it and drive people to a website.
As an individual user, you can use Twitter to tell a university or another student that you've had a great—or disappointing—experience with them, offer product ideas, and learn about great offers.
As a two-way communication vehicle. Education placement providers aren’t on there, but we know that students are. This is a great opportunity.

So this one’s shrouded in controversy, but if done right, automation can help you focus on the resource intensive stuff, like responding to replies and putting out fires, while simplifying some of the more passive activities, like pushing blog posts or event reminders. Though it’s worth stressing the if done right part since there’s a risk in alienating your audience or followers if you don’t maintain that human touch.
