truly evoked some type of feeling inside of me. Rocks are a part of everyday life, and normally, there
is nothing special about them. I was curious to see how the artist would display such an ordinary
object. After observing all of the paintings, they had two paintings in particular that caught my eye.
The paintings Octet and Anomaly are clearly as different as day and night, which makes them easy to

Hale is minister who specializes in witchcraft. Hale comes to Salem in 1692 to examine Betty Parris.
John did not fall into the ideology of fake witchcraft like others in Salem. He does start the hysteria
that is happening in Salem when he encourages the girls to rat out on the other girls and people in
town. With later regret, Reverend Hale follows his religious and puritanical beliefs. John Hale follows
idea of puritanism by trying to keep the court fair, keeping god in his life, and maintaining his
intellectual abilities throughout the play. Hale was trying to keep the court fair at all times. By doing
so, he was keeping the belief of the Bible in mind. Reverend Hale says, I have seen too many frightful
proofs in court the Devil is alive in Salem, and we dare not quail to follow wherever the accusing
finger points! This is saying that no one should be put on trial without evidence of witchcraft. In the
play, whoever gets the finger pointed at them is put on trial. In today s court people can t be tried
without evidence. By Hales doing of this, he is trying to maintain the balance of equality in the courts.

To offer an explanation as to how America got to this barbaric stage , an animated short, courtesy of
Matt Stone is played, which takes a satirical approach to the story of America s gun laws. The general
idea put across from this segment is that America s obsession with guns has transpired from a fear of

Every year our community raises thousands of dollars for children and their families, who need it to
be able to fight medical issues. Duck week is a wonderful opportunity for the community to rise
together and strive for a shared cause. It is honestly amazing to see how everyone in the community
comes together to raise so much money for children and their families who are in need of this money
due to medical expenses and procedures. I am glad that our community does this, and I think it is one

When performing my experiment I will come across various health and safety issues. One of them
would be spilling acid on my hand. To prevent this I will be using syringes to measure out the correct
amount of HCL. This will prevent any spillage of HCL. Also another heath and safety risk would be
having Na2S2O3 get into any open cuts I have. To prevent this I will cover all open cuts I have.
Moreover there is a chance that when reacting HCL with Na2S2O3 the gases produced could get in
my eye and cause my eye to become irritant. So to prevent this I will wear safety goggles so the gases
produces can not get into me eyes.
When I conduct my experiment I think that as the concentration of HCL increases. The time taken for
the HCL to react with Na2S2O3 will increase. I think this will happen because of the collision theory
(1) the more collisions in a system, the more likely combinations of molecules will happen. This helps
understand that if we increase the concentration of HCL then the more likely there will be
combination of molecules hitting each other at a faster rate meaning that if there are more collisions of
molecules this would speed up a reaction by every molar the HCL goes up by.

Mahatma Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India on October 2nd, 1869. His parents were Karamchand
Uttamchand Gandhi and Putlibai Gandhi. He was named Mahatma in his early life, which means great
soul and some said he was a reincarnation of Vishnu, who was the second god in the Hindu group of
three. Gandhi was influential in religious, political and equality practices.
In Gandhi s early life (30 to early 40 s) he accomplished life changing events that set him on a path
that leads to helping all kinds of people. His first major influence was when he fought against racial
discrimination in South Africa in 1893. At the time of his arrival he faced common discrimination
against people of color. The Natal Assembly was going to make a law that banned voters that were not
of European origin. Another influence he had was in 1906 in South Africa. There was a law placed
that required all Asian men who were in the Transvaal Province to be fingerprinted and have a form of
pass. So Gandhi started the Satyagraha (AKA truth force) campaign of nonviolent resistance. He
advised that Indians defy the law and take the punishments that come with the act of rebelliousness.
This movement got more serious in 1914 when there was a £3 tax on ex indentured Indians and the
state refused to acknowledge Indian marriages. Satyagraha went on for 7 years, during which
thousands of Indians were put into cuffs and some were killed. In 1914 the £3 tax was removed and

Over the past weeks I have been adding sounds to a moving image clip. Research of the science
behind sound and of professional sound recordist would be key, anything from microphone techniques
to personal safety would need to be taken into account on the recording side, whereas an
understanding of the software and tools within it would be needed for the sequencing.
Throughout history sound has been used to help convey a story. As early as the 1900 s, without today s

Dialog was the first sound recorded, there was quite a lot of dialog involved and it would need to be
recorded at the right level as it will be the loudest part of the sequence. When recording vocals I set up
the microphone appropriately, this meant positioning the microphone at roughly the same height as my
chin. The microphone also needed to be close to my mouth, if I was too far away it wouldn t be loud
enough meaning the volume would have to be amplified which would also amplify all the unwanted
noises around. A pop filter was also used, I simply moved it into the correct position before saying my
lines. A pop filter is used to stop the popping noise that can be accompanied by saying certain letters
such as p. Once the microphone was set up the lines were recorded, this was helped by having a TV
playing the video so I could get my timings perfected. One issue that did occur was putting the
emotion into certain sections, I found this hard at first as the recordings came out stale with no feeling.
To fix this I redid the dialog a few times and tried to treat it more as acting than speaking. The final
sections of dialog came out much better than the previous but there is still clear room for improvement
when it comes to the

The traditional family structure was, although headed and led by males, supplied and sustained by
females. Contributing members of society are expected to ear their keep, usually by working in some
form. The way in which women were allowed to ear their keep was in the home. The Labor Law
instituted in 1930 promised to liberate married women from the workshop and factory. Far from

My Experience At Tuskegee University
My experience began as early as college, when I used to volunteer with school going children in
orphanages, and would advise them on the social problems they faced in school. That is when I
decided that being a school counselor was the perfect job for me. Having started at an early age, I find
that my expertise does in fact lie in helping students deal with social pressure, and helping them cope
with the stress and frustration it brings. I have also been successfully able to help students improve
their self esteem by making them focus on past successes, so that they may be able to garner the
strength for future aspirations. I don t think age has any role to play when it comes to warming up to
students. As long as they can find a mentor, a guide and trust in someone, they are likely to open up to
them.
As I started my college career at Tuskegee University, where I double majored in psychology and
English. I was passionate about creating social awareness and helping people, but I was unsure what
career I was interested in after graduation. I thought about attending graduate school for Counseling
Psychology, but I just was not sure about it. I spoke to a professor in the Counselor Education program
at Georgia State University and discussed my interests with her. She suggested I look for a program
accredited by Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
