Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)
1.0 DEFINITION Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most commonly diagnosed entrapment
neuropathy (or neurological disorder) of the upper limb (Middleton Anakwe, 2014). 2.0 INCIDENCE
AND PREVALENCE CTS Affects millions of people around the world with an incidence rate of 276
per 100,000 people per year (Alfonso, Jann, Massa, Torreggiani, 2010). It has been reported that CTS
is more prevalent in woman and the working population (9.2% in women; 6% in men; 4% in the
general population; 10% of the working population) (Alfonso et al., 2010; Meems, Truijens, Spek,
Visser, Pop, 2015). Women are three times more likely to suffer from CTS than men, particularly in
women older than 30years (Gurcay, Unlu, Gurcay, Tuncay, Cakci, 2009; Middleton ... Show more

There is a strong link between jobs that involve overuse or heavy activities involving the hand and
aggravation of symptoms (Middleton Anakwe, 2014). This is reflected in the high claims of worker s
compensation among certain workplaces relating to repetitive strain injury (Patijn et al., 2011). Latent
stage of chronic compression leads to demyelination, fibrosis, and nerve fibre degeneration;
particularly muscle deterioration of the thenar eminence (Gruber, Gruber, Djurdjevic, Schullian,
Loizides, 2016; Middleton Anakwe, 2014). Abnormal sensations and paraesthesia may radiate into the
forearm and axilla (Moore et al.,

Borrelia Arthropod Vectors
There are four different strain of the Borrelia genus that is known to be found in arthropod vectors.
The Borrelia bacteria is a spirochete bacterium that is located in the gut of the infected vector. Borrelia
afzelii is commonly found in Asian and European countries, Borrelia garinii is found throughout
Europe, Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia mayonii are both strains that are seen here in the United
States. Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia mayonii are both found in the vector, a deer tick, or Lxodes
Scapularis. However, the strain Borrelia mayonii is found in the nymph stage of the tick instead of the
adult stage like the strain Borrelia burgdorferi.
Tick are not bugs, but they are small arachnids, that are part of the parasitiform. Ticks in these cases
are considered arthropod vectors which are an arachnid that can transmit the disease causing organism
from themselves to the host that they are feeding on. Ticks are external parasites, and they live by
feeding on the blood of a mammal, bird, reptiles, and amphibians. Tick pick up the disease causing
bacterium from a reservoir host that they are able to feed off. A reservoir host is a ... Show more

That means that one point two to one point four percent of ticks are already carrying the bacteria that
is known as Lyme Disease. Another way of thinking about how many ticks have this bacterium
already is that fifty percent of the deer ticks in the eastern United States are infected with either
Borrelia burgdorferi or Borrelia mayonii. One thing that is interesting is that ninety five percent of the
cases only occur in fourteen states, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts,
Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia,
and Wisconsin. There are also neighboring areas that infected ticks have become a problem are those

How To Shape My Professional Marketing Career
Many diverse experiences have helped to shape my professional marketing career. These positions
range from promoting Broadway shows, to marketing at the global children s entertainment brand
Pokémon, and managing a girl s brand called My Princess Academy. While my professional
experiences have provided me with a strong real world foundation, I feel that in order to pursue my
goal of managing a major entertainment brand, I require the knowledge and training afforded by an
MBA program. I am confident that my professional experiences coupled with an MBA will help me
achieve a vibrant career in marketing management.
After receiving my undergraduate degrees in theater and business, I began my career with a firm that
promoted Broadway shows. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I seized this opportunity to learn everything I could about pitching, securing, and managing
promotions from the head of the promotions agency. I worked with the consultants to pitch new
promotions and helped secure a global promotion with Burger King for a Kids Meal program. Burger
King was resistant at first but our determination to build a relationship and show our brands strength
helped secure the promotion. I supervised the development of all the marketing collateral, point of sale
displays, toys and trading cards that lead up to the promotion. Working with Burger King and their
agencies was a great opportunity that expanded my perspective on the quick serve restaurant industry.
The promotion generated 25 million toys in kid s meals around the world and was so successful it was
renewed for a second year. Working on this promotion was not only a great opportunity to learn about
a new industry, but also helped me become a better leader with more confidence and a new ability to
secure cross promotions.
Another significant project I worked on at Pokémon involved helping to lead a task force to execute
Pokémon s Worldwide 10th Anniversary plan. This project included coordinating the efforts of our
regional offices in London, Seattle, and Tokyo to produce consistent consumer experiences throughout
the year. The toughest part of this taskforce was getting people in so many

Gloria Anzaldua Speaking In Tongue
There are many flaws in society that people have just accepted and decided not to fight for, but
oppressed female writers and nationalist groups have taken a stand against them. Author Gloria
Anzaldua expresses in her letter Speaking in Tongues: A Letter to Third World Women Writers, the
battles she has encountered as a Chicana, gay woman, the opinions she has of our world and how to
overcome the difficulties she and other third world women writers have experienced. Aside from her,
nationalist movements such as the Chicano and the Young Lords Movements were created to fight
against the social oppressions, Mexican Americans and Puerto Ricans, minority groups have had to
live under. Despite the fact that Anzaldua limits her discussion to that ... Show more content on

This can show a certain way of wanting to assimilate to something that already exists, which Anzaldua
would argue with. Anzaldua believes in women having their own voice, she is not looking to fit in the
world of the white writers society accepts, she is looking for others to accept her own writing and
accept the community she belongs to with the characteristics she identifies with. It all differs in the
way they act and how radical they want their effects to be. Analyzing Anzaldua s letter, one would
agree with the fact that her feeling of need is one more revolutionary that echoes that of the Young
Lords. She invites the mujeres de color, companions in writing (Anzaldua 165), to find the real voice
within them and to show it, not to work through what already exists but to create a new category
where they can all identify. Anzaldua invites her compañeras to not feel oppressed by those that are
accepted by society, to not let their own expectations condition them (166). The way Anzaldua fights
and argues on what she deserves, is seen in action with the nationalist movements who have pride of
their culture and themselves as human beings and want to be identified and accepted equally by the
American society and not just as the

Archetypes In Hamlet
Archetypes are a constant throughout the classic of literature, an invaluable tool for the character s
thought process and how they ll react to everything. Even the infamous playwright and poet, William
Shakespeare, uses it to enhances his stories. For instance, in Shakespeare s Hamlet, the play is known
for its archetype. For instance, Laertes is often considered as the doppelganger archetype of Hamlet.
Often, he s believed to be the only one that s able to fill in the position of equal standing with Hamlet.
However, although many people would ve come to the assumption that Laertes is Hamlet s
doppelganger, because of his desires for vengeance against the people who ve wronged him and how
his personality contrasts Hamlet s character, Ophelia is the true foil of not only Hamlet, but Laertes as
well.
However, to understand archetypes, it s a must to start with a little review on psychoanalysis,
especially its evolution. From the beginning of archetypes, it began with Carl Jung, in the late
nineteenth to the mid twentieth century, being considered the successor of psychoanalysis. Similar to
Sigmund Freud, Jung was fascinated by the human being s psyche and its evolution over time. He
believed a person s past, aspirations, and experiences shape their characters who d they become in the
future. However, while both psychologists studies revolved around a person s psyche and their mental
wellbeing, Jung primarily focused on the attributes that contributed to the psyche s

Major Themes In Brave s Life
Robotics prodigy Hiro lives in the city of San Fransokyo. Next to his older brother, Tadashi, Hiro s
closest companion is Baymax, a robot whose sole purpose is to take care of people. When a
devastating turn of events throws Hiro into the middle of a dangerous plot, he transforms Baymax and
his other friends, Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred into a band of high tech heroes. All
of them fight to beat the masked man from taking over the entire world.
Some majors themes in the movie are friendship, anger, and creativity. Early on the movie, it is known
that Hiro is a lonely child, his only friends are his brother and his toy robot. After the loss of Tadashi,
his other brother, Tadashi s friends become Hiro s friends and they become ... Show more content on

He gets mad at Callaghan for what happened to his brother and feels the need to seek revenge on him.
His friends encourage him not to kill Callaghan because of what happened to his brother. Listening to
his friends, Hiro does not kill Callaghan and it turns out to be a great decision that he made. This
theme in this movie is relevant today because many people often feel the need to seek revenge if
something bad was inflicted upon them. For example, when my brother punched me in the stomach
randomly just to inflict harm on me, I felt the natural want to punch him back for what he has done. In
hindsight, it is not good to seek revenge because it just made the situation worse, both sides wounded
after the brawl. While many may believe that seeking revenge is the way to settle disputes, in many
cases, people tend to end up getting hurt like I did myself. Another moral in the story is friends and
family help each other. After the event that happened to his brother, his family and friends helped
comfort him. Baymax, his personal healthcare robot, diagnoses Hiro and finds out that his emotional
health is low, so it prescribes Hiro with support from his family and friends. On top of that, his friends
even fight with him to defeat the

The Giver Community Analysis
In a community that is supposedly perfect, people do not even have the freedom of choice. The
community in The Giver by Lois Lowry, there is total sameness to try and prevent crimes and
problems. There is no colors or choices. There is not even weather. Everything is controlled in the
community. Jonas s community also uses their control over everything that happens to limit emotions
and to strike fear in the powerless people.
Jonas s community is a dystopia because they strike fear in the community members to gain control.
One day a cargo aircraft flew over the community. This unusual event startled the community
members. The speaker used a raspy voice to alert members more. Then all the citizens had been
ordered to go into the nearest building. Immediately leave your bicycles where they are... Needlessly,
he will be released (2). When the plane flies over the community, the speaker reacts in a way that
means this is not a normal event. The speaker than uses the opportunity to scare the members into
thinking that planes flying ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After Jonas receives the memories of emotions such as love, He starts to question why they do not
have love in the community and do people even feel love. Jonas then asks his parents about love. do
you love me?... Jonas. You of all people. Precision of language, Please! (127). The way that Jonas s
father reacts suggests that love is not know as good, but bad. Because love is a big emotion that leads
to choices such as who you want to be your partner and what foods you like, the community takes it
out. The community wants to be able to control anything about anybody. That is not fair to the people
because without emotions choices cannot be made and without choices there is not much
advancement. Without much advancing the community is a pointless cycle. The limitation of emotions
has put the community in a state of endless cycles that no utopia

Why I Want to Attend Western Oregon University Essay
Western Oregon University Western Oregon is a standard 4 year, medium sized college. It is located in
the small, rural town of Monmouth, but only 10 miles from an urban city. Being primarily residential,
Western Oregon brings a certain family vibe, which they claim you cannot find anywhere else. Many
students say that their favorite part of Western Oregon is the size, since it gave them more one on one
time with their professors. There are a total of eighty three majors. Before financial aid and any
scholarship money are entered the tuition is $8,274 for in state students, while out of state student s
tuition is $21,759. Western Oregon estimated total cost if you are living on campus is $21,838, if you

Examples of the intramural sports they have are normal sports such as basketball, volleyball, softball,
and even flag football; some sports that are not so average are billiards, walleyball, racquetball, and
triathlons. This year at WOU they have a total of seventeen activities that you can take part in. These
activities include campus ministries, literary magazines, and a television station. As you can imagine
the activities provided at WOU bring in a lot of their students because it is a great opportunity to get
experience for your future job! Western Oregon s retention rate for part time students is 36%, while
their rate for full time students is 72%. This statistic speaks loudly for the good environment, social
community, and classroom environment! The safe environment of this small liberal arts college brings
many students in to the college. The serious crime rate (per 1000 students per year) is 0.96, the drug or
weapon incidents is 5.59, and as you could guess the highest rate is alcohol encounters at 13.12.
Though these statistics might seem high they are actually very low compared to other colleges. The
graduation rate for males is 33%, while the rate for females is 43%. The rate of getting a bachelor s
degree within four years is 16%, but the percentage goes all the way up to 34% after five years of
studies. After studying the ups and downs about this college I found that there are

Gun, Hunting, And Personal Defense
Putting rounds down range every time you pull the trigger on your firearm is very important, whether
for target shooting, hunting, or personal defense. Equally important to putting rounds down range is
the proper maintenance of your firearm. There are many types of firearms in today s world with some
that are more complicated than others in their operation and maintenance. One of the easier firearms to
maintain is the Armalite Rifle, Model 15, otherwise known as the AR 15. The basic disassembly, or
field striping, of the AR 15, is universal regardless of who the manufacture is or how the gas system is
set up. You will only need a clear work surface, a beach towel or similar item, and a number 2 punch
to complete the disassembly process. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Place your towel flat on your work surface before proceeding (this is to help prevent oil, grease,
powder residue, and your firearm from damaging the work surface). The first step in disassembly after
making the weapon clear and safe is to separate the upper receiver group from the lower receiver
group. Locate the takedown pin, which is located just above the safety, and the pivot pin, which is
located at the front of the lower receiver. With your number 2 punch depress the takedown pin from
the left side. You should feel a noticeable click when the takedown pin overcomes the force of the
takedown pin detent. Repeat for the pivot pin, being careful not to push the pin all the way through the
receiver. The takedown pin and pivot pins should now be partially extended on the right side of the
lower receiver. Lay the firearm on its left side so it lies flat on your work surface. Grasp the takedown
pin from the right side and pull till it fully extends out the right side of the receiver. Again, you should
feel a noticeable click when the detent pin engages the takedown pin at the fully extended position.
Now repeat by grasping and pulling the pivot pin till it fully extends out the right side of the receiver.
Next, while holding the lower receiver group, grasp the upper receiver group and slide it clear of the
lower receiver group. At this point the lower receiver group disassembly is complete, so sit it to one
side

Physical Examination And Laboratory Testing
Introduction to case study
Genitourinary problem in female have a number of symptoms and these symptoms requires clinical
skills to focus on problem history and examination. The context of assessing genitourinary problem is
based on a number issues such as gynaecological background, family history, obstetric history and
sexual history. Having lower pain being experienced in upper urinary track and iliac fossa pain
experienced in ectopic pregnancies are some of the symptoms produced by genitourinary
pathology(Detollenaere, et al., 2015). According to description of 51 years old female, having lower

Agriculture During The American Industrial Revolution
One of the innovations that stood out the most during the American Industrial Revolution were with
the advancement with Agriculture. Despite the other benefits made during the American industrial
revolution, such as steel and oil, agriculture remained the nation s basic occupation. The revolution in
agriculture during the time involved a shift from hand labor to machine farming and from subsistence
(maintaining/supporting for oneself) to a commercial agriculture. There were a few contributing
factors to the achievement of agricultural success. One of them was the expansion to the West and
another was the use of machinery for farming. Innovations such as The Reaper, The Thresher, Steel

In 1926 surfing was born by a man named Tom Blake. He just took a piece of driftwood of his house
and went out to surf. Surfing is exciting because Thinking about surfing can excite you, When the surf

When the surf is good you can get long rides. When you get good long big waves it almost feels like
you re flying because when you are on a big wave and you pop up it feels like you can be jumping
down a mountain and gliding across it. A good long ride is like a steep barreling wave and barreling
means the wave opens up to like a room and you can pretty much go into that room if the waves are
barreling or some people call it being in the tube. Sometimes when you are on a good long wave it can
feel like you are gliding across the glorious deep blue sea forever. So you probably noticed that good
long rides are pretty epic! It s just a fun sport. Surfing is just an overall fun sport because you can
make up new tricks and your own surfing style for example, a pro surfer Jordy Smith created the
rodeo flip in which you do a backflip 360 and land it, also an example of having your own surf style is
Dane Reynolds who does turns that are way different than anyone else s turns. You can also go in
contests and if you win we all know that winning is fun! When you are on a wave you re in total
control and no one can control you like in other sports. When it comes to excitement, surfing is what

Why I Possess Low Social Boldness
For this unit, I am applying Karen Horney s reasoning to explain why I possess low social boldness
and to what degree. According to Cloninger (2013), Horney s psychoanalytical approach developed
from previous theorists methods: Like traditional Freudian psychoanalysts, Horney firmly believed
that the unconscious is a powerful determinant of personality and that childhood conflicts are
important. However, she questioned Freud s emphasis on sexual conflict. (p. 104). Horney believed
our most important conflicts established from unresolved interpersonal issues. She viewed cultural and
individual differences as important influences on personality, bringing forth the relational approach.
This approach assesses connections to several different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Horneyan theory includes four major adjustments to basic anxiety. Two of the adjustments describe
moving away types labeled in the text (2013) as: Detachment: Moving away from Others, and The
Idealized Self: Moving away from the Real Self. My factor of low social boldness would fall under
the Detachment: Moving away from Others adjustment. This type of adjustment helps reduce the
experience of any conflicts. Horney added secondary adjustment techniques to help cope with anxiety:
compartmentalization, rationalization, excessive self control, arbitrary rightness, elusiveness, and
cynicism. Any one of these secondary adjustments could be in use resulting in having a low social

George W. Bush Speech Analysis
The central idea of the 43th president, George W. Bush Speech for the incident of dictator of Iraq
taking over Kuwait was that we are going to war with allies and soldiers who believe we have to fight
with the cruel dictator of Iraq because when we offered peace they only wanted war and now we have
to save the people of Kuwait. George immediately starts to play with our motions at the beginning
about the dictator of Iraq taking over the weak Kuwait, when the dictator of Iraq invaded a small and

as raped, pillaged, and plundered a tiny nation , unspeakable atrocities , maimed and murdered,
innocent children , dangerous weapons of mass destruction and Saddam prepared for war to show how
Saddam is destroying and hurting this little nation that had nothing to provoke them, even killing

The Most Important Characteristics Of Odysseus A Real Hero
What makes a hero a real hero? We know what a hero is we know Batman, Superman, Iron man,
Captain America, Wonder Woman, and even Wolverine. We also know our everyday heroes
firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and even political leaders. We also know all of our
favorite book characters. Sometimes we even think of ancient heroes, great warriors of old, but have
our expectations changed since then? After all we know some of these heroes just for slaughtering
their enemies. Do we define these people as heroes just because we ve always known them this way.
When I think of the most important characteristics that a hero can possibly have, three traits come to
mind, these are charisma, courage, and selflessness. Who better to put to the test with this list than the
ancient greek hero Odysseus.
Obviously a hero must be first and foremost smart enough to get through troubling puzzles,
challenges, and obstacles. It is important to note that charisma can be the main quality of a great
villain, as well as a great hero. Odysseus definitely has a lot of charisma, it is probably one of his
defining qualities. The odyssey is teeming with examples of how smart Odysseus is just for example
Odysseus is able to bargain with the witch Circe, go to the underworld and back, trick the cyclops into
letting them out, and secretly set up a revolution inside his own home. One example of just how
charismatic he is though takes a little bit of closer examination to discover, on line 16,

The Use Of Pesticides And Growth Hormone
Sara Richards Professor Phil 305 Intro: With the world s population continuing to increase, the
demand for food is higher than ever. A growing population means more demand on food. The world
population will rise to 9.3 billion in 2050 and surpass 10 billion by the end of this century. (Sanyal)
This should say something about our growing population that is still continuing to grow to this day.
This increase in food demand also calls for more efficient ways of growing and providing food
without causing any damage to our environment or our health. Two methods that can be effective for
this demand are the organic and conventional method. Decision: Its unethical for conventional farmers
to use of pesticides and growth hormone to multiply their products faster and bigger than organic
farmers. Meanwhile while these conventional farmers make millions in their products, millions of
people are deprived from a healthy diet by choosing to support organic farmers. The reason against the
Claim: The influence conventional farmers have on consumers. While many people want to support
the organic method because of its known benefits but they also feel that it is just another way to cheat
consumers out of their money. However, studies have proven that conventional fruits, vegetables, and
even drinks are cheaper than organic. With the world population growing larger and larger we need

Borderline Personality Disorder ( Bpd )
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is an emotional disorder that causes emotional instability,
leading to stress and other problems. With borderline personality disorder your image of yourself is
distorted, making you feel worthless and fundamentally flawed. Your anger, impulsivity and frequent
mood swings may push others away, even though you desire loving relationships. It is an often
misunderstood, serious mental illness characterized by pervasive instability in moods, interpersonal
relationships, self image and behavior. It is a disorder of emotional dysregulation. This instability
often disrupts family and work, long term planning and the individual s sense of self identity. While

As a result, their interests and values may change rapidly. People with BPD also tend to see things in
terms of extremes, such as either all good or all bad. Their views of other people may change quickly.
When you have borderline personality disorder, you often have an insecure sense of who you are. That
is, your self image or sense of self often rapidly changes. You may view yourself as evil or bad, and
sometimes may feel as if you don t exist at all. An unstable self image often leads to frequent changes
in jobs, friendships, goals and values. Your relationships are usually in turmoil. You often experience a
love hate relationship with others. You may idealize someone one moment and then abruptly and
dramatically shift to fury and hate over perceived slights or even minor misunderstandings. This is
because people with the disorder often have difficulty accepting gray areas things seem to be either
black or white. Other symptoms of BPD include: Fear of being abandoned, Feelings of emptiness and
boredom, Frequent displays of inappropriate anger, Impulsiveness with money, substance abuse,
sexual relationships, binge eating, or shoplifting, Intolerance of being alone, Repeated crises and acts
of self injury, such as wrist cutting or overdosing. Borderline personality disorder affects how you feel
about yourself, how you relate to others and how you behave (Grohol,2010).

High School Sports Module Analysis
Do you ever, as an athlete, parent, or fan of Iowa high school sports, want to watch the state high
school sporting events? Because it is well known that the northwest corner of Iowa tends to field the
better sports teams and athletes of the state, typically there is usually quite a few teams representing
the area during the state tournament. When a local team or athlete makes it to state, a group of people
will either go and watch in person, or try to see if the event is being broadcasted on television. Often
the people that can t make the trip to watch in person, like local people, family members, or even high
school athletes themselves, will check if it is on television (Byers 1). Starting during the 2016 2017

western side, and don t have either Dish Network or DirecTV, you are basically out of luck. The local
cable companies could get CSN Chicago into their package but with Northwest Iowa so far away from
Chicago, almost none in this area do. It makes sense not to get the channel only if you want it to watch
IHSAA state events. Scott Byers asked the head of the local cable company in Sioux Center about it
and he said picking up CSN Chicago for three years would cost his company well over a million
dollars. Instead of people on the Eastern side of Iowa, the Northwest Iowa people get to watch Fox
Sports North which shows the Minnesota teams like the Twins and Timberwolves. Next, people might
wonder if this really has to go on for the full three years. Well, I found that answer too in my
interview. Scott said, Most contracts can be broken, but it becomes a legal matter at that point and will
cost whatever the lawyers come up with in negotiations. Generally,

Louis Biraille Accomplishments
Because of Louis Braille, the blind can read and write. People never thought that it would, or could,
ever happen. Louis Braille made a HUGE difference in the lives of blind people, starting in 1824
when he developed the 6 dot cell system. Even today he is still making a difference, such as the
Braille Olympics, where blind students use their braille skills in competitions. (Perkins) Louis Braille,
although was not born blind, created a system still being used today. Louis has become a major hero,
especially to the world of the blind. Louis childhood shaped the type of person he became later on.
Louis Braille was born in Coupvray, France in 1809. Then, when he was three years old, he wanted to
be like his father. He thought, I can do what my father can do, so he took an awl, a sharp tool to poke
holes into leather with, and tried to use it. But the awl slipped and stabbed him in the eye. He then
became blind in that eye. The now blind eye got an infection and it spread to his other eye making him
completely blind. He did very well in school, but he thought that it was too easy, he wanted a
challenge and to read books, so he went to an institute for the blind. But the ... Show more content on

Less and less people today are using the braille system. Moving on to audio books and voice
recognition. In 2009, only ten percent of blind Americans can read braille. But those who do, are more
likely to obtain higher levels of education and employment. There is also an asteroid named Braille, in
honor of Louis Braille s accomplishments. The asteroid was discovered in 1992 orbiting the sun. Did
you know that braille isn t a language? It is used in all countries, such as for Spanish, they have a
special arrangement of dots that indicate a letter with an accent. There are also arrangements for
punctuation, such as commas, periods, exclamation marks, question marks, and so on. (Perkins) In
conclusion, Louis has made a major impact in our

Value of Equity and Per Share Value when there are options and warrants outstanding
Aswath Damodaran
1
Equity Value and Per Share Value: A Test l Assume that you have done an equity valuation of
Microsoft. The total value for equity is estimated to be $ 170 billion and there are 1204 million shares
outstanding. What is the value per share?
2
An added fact l On September 30, 1997, Microsoft had 258 million options outstanding, granted to
employees over time. These options had an average exercise price of $ 42 (the current stock price i $
140). Estimate the value per share.

The Conversion Option l l
In a typical convertible bond, the bondholder is given the option to convert the bond into a specified
number of shares of stock. The conversion ratio measures the number of shares of stock for which
each bond may be exchanged. Stated differently, the market conversion value is the current value of
the shares for which the bonds can be exchanged. The conversion premium is the excess of the bond
value over the conversion value of the bond. The conversion option in a convertible bond is equity.
9
Convertible Bond Value and the Conversion Option
10
Determinants of Value of Conversion Option l The conversion option is a call option on the
underlying stock, and its value is therefore determined by the variables that affect call option values
the underlying stock price, the conversion ratio (which determines the strike price), the life of the
convertible bond, the variance in the stock price and the level of interest rates.
11
Factors in Using Option Pricing Models to Value Convertibles and Warrants l Option pricing models
can be used to value the conversion option with three caveats
conversion options are long term, making the assumptions about constant variance and constant
dividend yields much shakier, conversion options result in stock dilution, and conversion options are
often exercised before expiration, making it dangerous to use European option pricing

Training And Development For Employees
Training and development are activities organizations use to increase the performance of its
employees. Organizations use new techniques and knowledge to improve the attitudes, skills, and
techniques of the employees in order to improve daily responsibilities. Training and development are
essential to every field in the business industry. Training and development are required to be
successful in the business environment. Employees are able to keep up with trends and technology as
they change. Training and development has positive effects that impact the success of organizations.
Employees adapt to new technologies, employee morale and motivation is increased, productivity and
efficiency is increased, and decreases liability. New technologies are adopted through training and
development. Computer based training offers interactive online training. It is convenient and very
effective. Employees are able to access the training whenever they want and wherever they are with
online access. Employees can train at their own pace and can repeat the training as many times as they
need to. Employees must have self discipline and be able to learn without direct human interaction to
benefit from this type of training. Employees who need human interaction while training may benefit
from computer based training via a telephone conference setting. They are able to have human
interaction with the computer based training. This is the type of training I had this month. The

Examples Of Escapism In Horses Of The Night
The course of action an individual pursues is due to one s motivation, weather that may be personal
influences, or influences from others in the community. The motivation one finds helps them to
jumpstart their chosen course of action, and guide them through the journey. In Margaret Laurence s
short story Horses of the Night Chris, demonstrates how his motivation conducts him through his
excursion of life. The varying sources help to influence and guide him through these decisions and
impact hid course of action. Chris motivation is revealed through his need of escapism, hints of
pathetic fallacy, and how his family situation affects him and helps develop his chosen actions.
The text introduces us to Chris when he is just a boy, around the age of 15, entering high school in the
new town of Manawaka. He is a tall lanky boy with his face angular, the bones showing through the
brown skin opinionated by Vanessa. Also his grey eyes were slightly slanted, and his hair was the
colour of couchgrass... a light yellow by the sun. Coming from a poor family, Chris had little to wear
and his clothing was old and ragged; earning the opinion of Vanessa s mother, ...Look at the shirt and

Different factors play into one s motivation, such as how Chris motivation is greatly affected by his
need to escape his personal depression, the physical Great Depression outside, and his family s
situation. All these factors contribute to Chris journey and how they affected his life. One s
Motivations may change as they experience life, and they may feel like they need to alter their path in
order to get to where they want to be. Once that change occurs, they no longer have control of where
those actions have taken them, and they may find themselves where they never imagined to

Dalton s Atomic Theory ( 1803 )
Dalton s atomic theory (1803):
Dalton proposed that all matter is made of atoms (tiny indivisible particles), which cannot be
destroyed. He visualised atoms as a solid particle without a structure. All atoms of an element are
identical in mass and properties. The atoms of one element differ from the atoms of all other elements
in atomic weight. Compounds are combinations of two or more different types of atoms. A chemical
reaction results in the rearrangement of atoms in the reactant and product compounds and they don t
destroy or create atoms.
Thomson s plum pudding model (1909):
Thomson discovered electron in 1897, which allowed him to develop a new atomic model. In
Thomson s model, the atom is composed of electrons surrounded by a positively charged fluid which
balances the electrons negative charges, like negatively charged plums which are surrounded by a
positively charged pudding . Thomson thought the electrons were positioned throughout the atom in
rotating rings. The atom was also sometimes described to have a cloud of positive charge.
Rutherfordian atomic model (1911):
Rutherford s discovery of the nucleus allowed him to develop a new atomic model, the planetary
model. In this model, the centre of the atom is the nucleus. The nucleus contains most of the mass and
all of the positive charge of the atom. Electrons circle around the nucleus like planets do around the
sun. Positive protons in nucleus and electrons in orbit around nucleus.

Maximus A Hero
Heroes normally display feats of strength or knowledge exceeding that of normal men. In Ancient
Greek and Roman texts, heroes were inspired by the legends of Hercules, Jason and Perseus who were
all normal men, seen to have super human strength, knowledge, or strategy. Heroes do not all have
godlike strength, many of them were war generals or emperors who faced danger but fought through
adversity with triumphs of courage or bravery or even martyrdom. There are heroes who develop
certain characteristics that are not normally qualities a hero embodies. Throughout the story, Maximus
endures many tribulations that make Maximus evolve as a hero and embody attributes a hero normally
does not have. Maximus embodies various qualities of both a hero ... Show more content on

Maximus and the gladiators fight valiantly and are saved by Maximus superior battle tactics. Maximus
is able to lead a group of men who have no military experience, to survive a gladiatorial game meant
to see them all die. After the victory in the arena, Commodus steps into the Colosseum to congratulate
the crowd favorite the Spaniard. He commands Maximus to show his face, and after Maximus does he
expresses his desire for revenge, ...father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will
have my vengeance in this life or the next (Gladiator, 99 min.). Maximus finally is able to confront the
man who gave the orders to kill his family. Maximus only true motivation for living is to avenge the
death of his family. Commodus is made out to look like a fool because he still does not have the
support of Rome s citizens or its military. Maximus won the crowd over with his superior tactics and
fighting, highlighting Proximo s comments ...win the crowd, and you ll win your freedom (Gladiator,

against the single most powerful person in the empire, with the approval of the Roman citizens. Today

Max Weber s Politics As A Vocation
He who seeks the salvation of the soul, of his own and of others, should not seek it along the avenue
of politics, for the quite different tasks of politics can only be solved by violence , stated Max Weber
in his lecture Politics as a Vocation (Weber 4). In order to participate in politics, an individual will
inevitably encounter times when they must break with traditional morality. An ethic of ultimate ends is
not realistic or plausible for the field of politics, particularly when it is followed steadfastly. An ethic
of responsibility is more compatible with politics, as it allows the response to a situation to be
determined by the circumstances rather than inflexible rules, while still maintaining accountability for
one s own actions. This flexibility is most necessitated by the politicians use of violence. There is a
fallacy that an ethic of ultimate ends and an ethic of responsibility are incompatible and cannot be
reconciled. A politician can follow an ethic of responsibility, while still following certain ethical
principles of ultimate ends, on which they will hold their ground. Weber states, ... an ethic of ultimate
ends and an ethic of responsibility are not absolute contrasts but rather supplements, which only in
unison constitute a genuine man a man who can have the calling for politics (Weber 4). True morality
in politics is found in the compromise between the competing ethical codes, and the ability to discern
when this compromise is necessary is

Why Water Is Essential For All Living Organisms And Its...
Water
Water is essential for all living organisms. It is known to everyone around the world as one of the most
important requirements for life. Based on a research by Harvard University, water covers about 75%
of the earth s surface and it s necessary in all different natural environments such as forests,
grasslands, tundra, marine etc. Water also plays a major role for industry and commerce, recreation,
energy, health environments and more.
As we observe, water is essential for life in any matter of existence without water this planet will not
exist.
The intension of this paper is to explain why water is important for all living organisms and its
structure. I chose this topic because for me is very interesting to see that water is one ... Show more

In 1811 Amadeo Avogadro found the H20 formula for water. These experiments were proven that H2
and O2 were the fundamental component of water.
After many years of research, Scientifics confirmed that water is a strong solvent; it s a molecule that
contains two hydrogen (H) and one oxygen (0) atom and they both are non metals. It s referred as the
chemical equation H2O. Oxygen atom has 6 electrons in its outer shell and it is in the group six in the
periodic table. Hydrogen atom has one electron in its outer shell and can form only one bond. Water is
tasteless, Odorless, and colorless and It has a molar mass of 18.01 g/mol. Everything is made of
atoms, which is the smallest particle of an element (Introductory Chemistry, Steven S. Zumdahi and
Donald J).
The oxygen atom also called the apex of the water molecule bears a slight electronegative charge
while hydrogen possesses a more positive one (Kirk 225). Because of the opposite charges attract, the
water molecules are drawn together. When an oxygen atom is linked to a molecule s hydrogen atom, a
bond called a hydrogen bond is formed (Kirk 256). Hydrogen and oxygen would like to have stable
electron configurations but do not as individual atoms. They can do it by sharing electrons throughout
covalent bonds.
The figure below is an illustrative representation of a water molecule having polar covalent bonds
between the Oxygen atom and the Hydrogen atoms.
Covalent Oxygen shares one of its outer electrons with

What Are The Five Branches Of The United States Military
The military has always been an integral part of U.S. history. It dates back to 1775, even before the
Declaration of Independence. The United States Armed forces currently has five branches of service;
Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. This essay seeks to take a closer look at the United
States Army and the United States Navy, which are the two largest branches. A comparison of their
history, mission and the transition of its members back to civilian life will shed some light on how
similar but different these two branches are. Although the overall goal of all branches of the Armed
Forces is to protect the United States of America s borders and interests, each branch has a unique
history and specific mission in accomplishing this. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Today s Navy, according to the Navy s official website, navy.mil, consist of over 300,000 active duty
personnel, over 100,000 reserve personnel, 430 total ships and over 3700 aircrafts. According to the
Navy s New Recruit Handbook, The mission of the United States Navy is to protect and defend the
right of the United States and our allies to move freely on the oceans and to protect our country
against her enemies (29November2008). The U.S. Navy training manual states that the U.S. Armed
Forces mission is to prepare and conduct prompt and sustained combat operations in support of
national interest. As a part of that establishment, the U.S. Navy s function comprise of sea control,
projection of power and nuclear deterrence. (NAVEDTRA 14325 Feb2002 pp 20 7). To complete the
mission, the Navy relies on its enlisted ranks, which make up about 80 percent of the active duty
personnel. Enlisted sailors complete basic training and then move on to apprenticeship schools to
complete training in their individual job. Sailors then do their job on a day to day basis and have to
prove their skill level and level of responsibility through a series of Personal Qualification Standards
(PQS) and examinations. Because of this setup, a sailor is recognized not only by his rank, but more
so his job title. The primary mission of every individual sailor is to complete your job efficiently in
order for the overall mission to be successful. On the other hand, the U.S. Army s primary mission,
according to Section 3062 of Title 10 US Code, is to support national policies, implement national
objectives, overcome any nations aggressive acts that threaten the peace and security of the United
States and finally to preserve the peace and security and providing for the defense of the United
States,

Should we let a couple of car accidents take away off campus lunch for every student? Students
should have off campus lunch because it emits a sense of maturity and grants them better food choices
during lunch. To explain, off campus lunch is given as a reward for students who have excellent
grades and have followed all the school rules. Moreover, off campus lunch lasts for a whole class
period, which gives students opportunities to manage time and money while also enjoying their lunch.
However, there are some students who believe they do not need permission for off campus lunch and
feel that it s alright to arrive late to the class thus, ruining the fun for everybody.

It was was Chad s parent s anniversary so they went out for dinner and left Chad at home. They told
him he couldn t have any parties or get togethers , which was what he usually called his parties, but
they said he could have one person over, but no more than that. So he called his best friend, Nick.
They watched a movie, listened to music, did some homework, and watched the news because there
was nothing else on. There were a couple stories that caught their attention: a shortage of cocoa beans
which means there ll probably be less chocolate this Halloween, an orangutang that spelled his own

I used to like going up there every Friday with your dad when we were in grade school replied Chad,
thinking about those days when Nick s dad would take them to ice cream and then take them to that
clearing on that cliff that overlooked their small town. They would watch the sun set, and then all the
street lights turn on in the city at their scheduled time. After half an hour of country music and
discussing their favorite football team and how much better they are than last year, they pulled into the
best park at Lookout Ridge. It was kind of hidden and surrounded by trees without leaves, their
branches stretched out over the car, forming what some would say looks like a single car garage.
There they sat and waited for the sunset. The temperature outside dropped dramatically and clouds
poured into the sky. They watched the sun hide itself behind the mountains on the other side of the
small valley that housed their town. Then, at the precise scheduled time, the street lights scattered
around the town turn on and light up the quickly darkening air. After admiring the view for a long
while, it started to rain, so they decided it was finally time to leave. Chad put the car in reverse and
started backing out. The car

This allows your cardiovascular centres in your brain a little bit more latitude as far as controlling
your heart rate. If you were to remove a beating heart from someone s body you would find that the
heart is no longer being suppressed by the parasympathetic nervous system and it will accelerate to the
same pace as the sinoatrial node. The SA node generates action potentials approximately 100 times per
minute due to the physiology of the heart, its own permeability to sodium and calcium via its
channels, and a host of other things. Anywhere between 80 to 100 beats per minute is normal for the
SA node.
7. What are two key differences between cardiac muscle and skeletal muscle?
cardiac is involuntary, skeletal is voluntary cardiac is unstriated, skeletal is striated
8. What is the difference between the effective refractory period and the relative refractory period?
The effective refractory period is the time in which the cell is incapable of responding to a second
stimulus between the phases of 0 3.5, while the relative refractory period is the time in which the cell
is making preparations to receive stimulus between phase 3.5 4.
9. When the heart is externally stimulated just after the start of the contraction cycle, why does this
have no affect on heart rate?
This is because once a contraction has started, the action potential has already fired, stimularing the

  • 3. Borrelia Arthropod Vectors There are four different strain of the Borrelia genus that is known to be found in arthropod vectors. The Borrelia bacteria is a spirochete bacterium that is located in the gut of the infected vector. Borrelia afzelii is commonly found in Asian and European countries, Borrelia garinii is found throughout Europe, Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia mayonii are both strains that are seen here in the United States. Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia mayonii are both found in the vector, a deer tick, or Lxodes Scapularis. However, the strain Borrelia mayonii is found in the nymph stage of the tick instead of the adult stage like the strain Borrelia burgdorferi. Tick are not bugs, but they are small arachnids, that are part of the parasitiform. Ticks in these cases are considered arthropod vectors which are an arachnid that can transmit the disease causing organism from themselves to the host that they are feeding on. • 5. Gloria Anzaldua Speaking In Tongue There are many flaws in society that people have just accepted and decided not to fight for, but oppressed female writers and nationalist groups have taken a stand against them. Author Gloria Anzaldua expresses in her letter Speaking in Tongues: A Letter to Third World Women Writers, the battles she has encountered as a Chicana, gay woman, the opinions she has of our world and how to overcome the difficulties she and other third world women writers have experienced. This can show a certain way of wanting to assimilate to something that already exists, which Anzaldua would argue with. Anzaldua believes in women having their own voice, she is not looking to fit in the world of the white writers society accepts, she is looking for others to accept her own writing and accept the community she belongs to with the characteristics she identifies with. It all differs in the way they act and how radical they want their effects to be. Analyzing Anzaldua s letter, one would agree with the fact that her feeling of need is one more revolutionary that echoes that of the Young Lords. She invites the mujeres de color, companions in writing (Anzaldua 165), to find the real voice within them and to show it, not to work through what already exists but to create a new category where they can all identify. Anzaldua invites her compañeras to not feel oppressed by those that are accepted by society, to not let their own expectations condition them (166). The way Anzaldua fights and argues on what she deserves, is seen in action with the nationalist movements who have pride of their culture and themselves as human beings and want to be identified and accepted equally by the American society and not just as the ... Even the infamous playwright and poet, William Shakespeare, uses it to enhances his stories. For instance, in Shakespeare s Hamlet, the play is known for its archetype. For instance, Laertes is often considered as the doppelganger archetype of Hamlet. Often, he s believed to be the only one that s able to fill in the position of equal standing with Hamlet. However, although many people would ve come to the assumption that Laertes is Hamlet s doppelganger, because of his desires for vengeance against the people who ve wronged him and how his personality contrasts Hamlet s character, Ophelia is the true foil of not only Hamlet, but Laertes as well. However, to understand archetypes, it s a must to start with a little review on psychoanalysis, especially its evolution. From the beginning of archetypes, it began with Carl Jung, in the late nineteenth to the mid twentieth century, being considered the successor of psychoanalysis. Similar to Sigmund Freud, Jung was fascinated by the human being s psyche and its evolution over time. He believed a person s past, aspirations, and experiences shape their characters who d they become in the future. However, while both psychologists studies revolved around a person s psyche and their mental wellbeing, Jung primarily focused on the attributes that contributed to the psyche s ... Listening to his friends, Hiro does not kill Callaghan and it turns out to be a great decision that he made. This theme in this movie is relevant today because many people often feel the need to seek revenge if something bad was inflicted upon them. For example, when my brother punched me in the stomach randomly just to inflict harm on me, I felt the natural want to punch him back for what he has done. In hindsight, it is not good to seek revenge because it just made the situation worse, both sides wounded after the brawl. While many may believe that seeking revenge is the way to settle disputes, in many cases, people tend to end up getting hurt like I did myself. Another moral in the story is friends and family help each other. After the event that happened to his brother, his family and friends helped comfort him. Baymax, his personal healthcare robot, diagnoses Hiro and finds out that his emotional health is low, so it prescribes Hiro with support from his family and friends. On top of that, his friends even fight with him to defeat the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The way that Jonas s father reacts suggests that love is not know as good, but bad. The community wants to be able to control anything about anybody. That is not fair to the people because without emotions choices cannot be made and without choices there is not much advancement. Locate the takedown pin, which is located just above the safety, and the pivot pin, which is located at the front of the lower receiver. With your number 2 punch depress the takedown pin from the left side. You should feel a noticeable click when the takedown pin overcomes the force of the takedown pin detent. We know what a hero is we know Batman, Superman, Iron man, Captain America, Wonder Woman, and even Wolverine. We also know our everyday heroes firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and even political leaders. We also know all of our favorite book characters. Sometimes we even think of ancient heroes, great warriors of old, but have our expectations changed since then? After all we know some of these heroes just for slaughtering their enemies. Do we define these people as heroes just because we ve always known them this way. When I think of the most important characteristics that a hero can possibly have, three traits come to mind, these are charisma, courage, and selflessness. Who better to put to the test with this list than the ancient greek hero Odysseus. Obviously a hero must be first and foremost smart enough to get through troubling puzzles, challenges, and obstacles. It is important to note that charisma can be the main quality of a great villain, as well as a great hero. Odysseus definitely has a lot of charisma, it is probably one of his defining qualities. The odyssey is teeming with examples of how smart Odysseus is just for example Odysseus is able to bargain with the witch Circe, go to the underworld and back, trick the cyclops into letting them out, and secretly set up a revolution inside his own home. A growing population means more demand on food. The world population will rise to 9.3 billion in 2050 and surpass 10 billion by the end of this century. (Sanyal) This should say something about our growing population that is still continuing to grow to this day. This increase in food demand also calls for more efficient ways of growing and providing food without causing any damage to our environment or our health. Two methods that can be effective for this demand are the organic and conventional method. Decision: Its unethical for conventional farmers to use of pesticides and growth hormone to multiply their products faster and bigger than organic farmers. Meanwhile while these conventional farmers make millions in their products, millions of people are deprived from a healthy diet by choosing to support organic farmers. The reason against the Claim: The influence conventional farmers have on consumers. While many people want to support the organic method because of its known benefits but they also feel that it is just another way to cheat consumers out of their money. • 20. High School Sports Module Analysis Do you ever, as an athlete, parent, or fan of Iowa high school sports, want to watch the state high school sporting events? Because it is well known that the northwest corner of Iowa tends to field the better sports teams and athletes of the state, typically there is usually quite a few teams representing the area during the state tournament. When a local team or athlete makes it to state, a group of people will either go and watch in person, or try to see if the event is being broadcasted on television. Often the people that can t make the trip to watch in person, like local people, family members, or even high school athletes themselves, will check if it is on television (Byers 1). That s a question I m sure many people had over the football, wrestling, and basketball state tournament championships. I ll go into more detail about the CSN Chicago deal with the help of my interview with Scott Byers. In order to watch the channel CSN Chicago, you need to either live in the area that your local cable company offers it, or have Dish Network or DirecTV. Like I said earlier, about 90% of the area that does offer the channel is in the eastern part of Iowa. So if you live on the western side, and don t have either Dish Network or DirecTV, you are basically out of luck. The local cable companies could get CSN Chicago into their package but with Northwest Iowa so far away from Chicago, almost none in this area do. It makes sense not to get the channel only if you want it to watch IHSAA state events. Scott Byers asked the head of the local cable company in Sioux Center about it and he said picking up CSN Chicago for three years would cost his company well over a million dollars. Instead of people on the Eastern side of Iowa, the Northwest Iowa people get to watch Fox Sports North which shows the Minnesota teams like the Twins and Timberwolves. Next, people might wonder if this really has to go on for the full three years. Well, I found that answer too in my interview. Scott said, Most contracts can be broken, but it becomes a legal matter at that point and will cost whatever the lawyers come up with in negotiations. Generally, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Louis Braille made a HUGE difference in the lives of blind people, starting in 1824 when he developed the 6 dot cell system. Even today he is still making a difference, such as the Braille Olympics, where blind students use their braille skills in competitions. (Perkins) Louis Braille, although was not born blind, created a system still being used today. Louis has become a major hero, especially to the world of the blind. Louis childhood shaped the type of person he became later on. Louis Braille was born in Coupvray, France in 1809. Then, when he was three years old, he wanted to be like his father. He thought, I can do what my father can do, so he took an awl, a sharp tool to poke holes into leather with, and tried to use it. But the awl slipped and stabbed him in the eye. He then became blind in that eye. The now blind eye got an infection and it spread to his other eye making him completely blind. He did very well in school, but he thought that it was too easy, he wanted a challenge and to read books, so he went to an institute for the blind. But the ... It is used in all countries, such as for Spanish, they have a special arrangement of dots that indicate a letter with an accent. • 26. Dalton s Atomic Theory ( 1803 ) Dalton s atomic theory (1803): Dalton proposed that all matter is made of atoms (tiny indivisible particles), which cannot be destroyed. He visualised atoms as a solid particle without a structure. All atoms of an element are identical in mass and properties. The atoms of one element differ from the atoms of all other elements in atomic weight. Compounds are combinations of two or more different types of atoms. A chemical reaction results in the rearrangement of atoms in the reactant and product compounds and they don t destroy or create atoms. Thomson s plum pudding model (1909): Thomson discovered electron in 1897, which allowed him to develop a new atomic model. In Thomson s model, the atom is composed of electrons surrounded by a positively charged fluid which balances the electrons negative charges, like negatively charged plums which are surrounded by a positively charged pudding . Thomson thought the electrons were positioned throughout the atom in rotating rings. The atom was also sometimes described to have a cloud of positive charge. Rutherfordian atomic model (1911): Rutherford s discovery of the nucleus allowed him to develop a new atomic model, the planetary model. In this model, the centre of the atom is the nucleus. The nucleus contains most of the mass and all of the positive charge of the atom. Electrons circle around the nucleus like planets do around the sun. • 28. Max Weber s Politics As A Vocation He who seeks the salvation of the soul, of his own and of others, should not seek it along the avenue of politics, for the quite different tasks of politics can only be solved by violence , stated Max Weber in his lecture Politics as a Vocation (Weber 4). In order to participate in politics, an individual will inevitably encounter times when they must break with traditional morality. An ethic of ultimate ends is not realistic or plausible for the field of politics, particularly when it is followed steadfastly. An ethic of responsibility is more compatible with politics, as it allows the response to a situation to be determined by the circumstances rather than inflexible rules, while still maintaining accountability for one s own actions. This flexibility is most necessitated by the politicians use of violence. There is a fallacy that an ethic of ultimate ends and an ethic of responsibility are incompatible and cannot be reconciled. A politician can follow an ethic of responsibility, while still following certain ethical principles of ultimate ends, on which they will hold their ground. Weber states, ... an ethic of ultimate ends and an ethic of responsibility are not absolute contrasts but rather supplements, which only in unison constitute a genuine man a man who can have the calling for politics (Weber 4). It s referred as the chemical equation H2O. Oxygen atom has 6 electrons in its outer shell and it is in the group six in the periodic table. Hydrogen atom has one electron in its outer shell and can form only one bond. Water is tasteless, Odorless, and colorless and It has a molar mass of 18.01 g/mol. Everything is made of atoms, which is the smallest particle of an element (Introductory Chemistry, Steven S. Zumdahi and Donald J).
