This document discusses a blended learning approach for teaching European studies. It combines online e-modules for structured self-paced learning, intensive face-to-face training seminars in Brussels led by academics and practitioners, and webinars for synchronous online interaction. The blended approach aims to organize content around learners' needs, facilitate access to knowledge and expertise, and create a learning community through a combination of self-paced and interactive elements. Challenges include balancing self-paced learning with interaction and community-building, as well as ensuring educators have skills for a virtual environment.
