artists I may want to feature in my own magazine.

Q. What attracts you to indie music?

9 people say they are attracted to indie music because of the lyrics of the songs
10 people say the bands and the artists
3 people say the image of the indie genre

These results show me that people are mostly attracted to the lyrics of the songs so I could maybe
do a feature on popular lyrics from songs also they are attracted to the bands and artists themselves
so they must be a big feature but only 3 people are attracted to the image so that is not as important

This indicates that there is in fact a gap in the market for this style of magazine as all of these people
are interested in indie music however, they do not currently read any magazine of this description

        10 said I don’t buy/read any magazines
3 said they don’t interest me

        17 say free gifts
2 say exclusive news are interviews

This shows me what I can do to encourage people to buy my magazine by including free gifts,
exclusive news and interviews, cheap price and dates of oncoming gigs
