What Are Your Thoughts On Indie Music?
0 1.25 2.5 3.75 5 6.25
I have never listened to indie music.
I don't take notice of music genres
I know a few indie bands that I enjoy but I'm not a big fan
I've listened to it once or twice before though it is not a genre I prefer
I really love indie music
I like this genre but it's not my favourite
Here, I can see what
people’s views are on indie
music and although some
of these shows that not
many people are huge fans
of it, it also shows that they
are at least familiar with it
and enjoy it to an extent.
Because of these results, I
will be keeping the music
genre for my magazine as
indie.
How often do you buy a music magazine?

Never
Once a month
These results show that people will
rarely buy a music magazine. But
because of the few people who said they
buy one once a month, I have decided to
change the publishing frequency of my
magazine from every week to every
month. This will ensure that people are
more willing to buy the magazine as
they’re not having to spend so much
money on it.

What do you think of the name ‘Untouched’ as a
chosen title for an indie music magazine?
“It’s Great.”
“Very nice title, simple but gets the point across.”
“Sounds exclusive… it makes it look new and a must have.”
“It seems interesting. Might show the most unique indie bands.”
“Hmm… I like it. Untouched, underground, under the radar. Same connotations of discovery.”
“Has an alluring air of mystery, intriguing, definitely not
mainstream so I wouldn’t say that most people will go for it.”
Because none of these gave me any advice to improve, I won’t be changing the title of
my music magazine as it seems like a lot of the people who commented on it liked it.
