My Target Audience
This is an image of Harj. He is
my target audience because:

• he is male
• 17 years old
• is heterosexual
• is Asian
• lives in a town
• is a student at college
• has a part-time job
• is in socio-economic C2DE
• enjoys Hip-Hop and
    Dubstep
This is Stanley. He is my target
audience because:

• he is male
• 18 years old
• is heterosexual
• is black
• lives in a town
• is a student at college
• has an apprenticeship
• is in socio-economic C2DE
• enjoys Garage and Dancehall
This is Winner. He is my target
audience because:

• he is male
• 19 years old
• is heterosexual
• is black
• lives in a city
• is a student at University
• has a part-time job
• is in socio-economic C2DE
• enjoys American Hip-Hop and
    Grime
Harj, Stanley and Winner would also fit into my
target audience, because they dress in a specific
way that reflects the Urban genre. Common
clothing items worn by artist's of this genre, and
also audiences of the genre are the following:
High Tops
Snap-back cap
Body warmer
Sun glasses
These pictures show some people
from my target audience wearing the
    stereotypical clothing of the
            urban genre
Stanley
Winner
Harj
This is an image of
the New Boyz.
They are an
American Hip-Hop
group. The are
wearing snap back
caps, body
warmers, sun
glasses and high
tops.
These images show that both the artist’s
and audience’s of the Urban genre are very
similar. They are generally the same age,
gender, ethnicity, socio-economic group (or
at least at the beginning, as successful
urban artists generally make lots of money,
so will become of a higher socio-economic
group). I used this information in my music
magazine by ensuring the artist’s are ‘real’
and similar to the audience. This ensures
that the audience can relate to the artists.
