This document discusses using tablet computers to develop multi-literacy skills in e-learning environments for primary grade students in Thailand. It provides an overview of Thailand's policy to provide one tablet computer per primary student to allow access to educational materials. The objectives are to promote cognitive development, critical thinking, knowledge acquisition and associative learning. Examples are given of digital pedagogy lessons learned, literacy skills developed, and learning progressions achieved through the use of instructive, manipulative and constructive apps on the tablets.
