The document summarizes the results of a survey conducted to gather information for a new music magazine. The survey asked 10 questions about respondents' music interests, spending habits, and preferences for magazine content and style. Key findings included that the target audience should be ages 16-25, the magazine should be released weekly and cost $2-3, and should feature exclusive interviews, festival news, and images to attract readers' attention. Respondents primarily listened to R&B artists like John Legend and Rihanna. The most commonly read magazine, Billboard, was cited as a model for featuring well-known artists.

Operation âBlue Starâ is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Â
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
âą The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
âą The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate âany matterâ at âany timeâ under House Rule X.
âą The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

1. Survey analysis
When conductinginformation aboutmy musicmagazine, I needed to asksome people aboutkeyinformation to what to putin to my
magazine. This is becausebefore making my magazine I had to know some knowledge aboutpotentialcustomerâswants and needs. I
conductedthis researchusingâSurveyMonkeyâwhere I asked10 questions,these10 questionsinclude:
ï¶ How old are you?
ï¶ How muchare you willing to pay for a magazine?
ï¶ How oftendo you likea magazine to be released?
ï¶ What do youlike to seein a magazine?
ï¶ What typeof musicdo you listento?
ï¶ What capturesyou attentionwhen buyinga magazine?
ï¶ Doesthe name of the magazine effectif you buy it or not?
ï¶ What magazine are you mostlikely to read?
2. Question 1
Ichose to askthis questionas I wanted to find out an age in which I wanted to aim my magazine at. From questionone I was able to
gain theknowledge that, the age in which I would most targetmy magazine at is 16-25,this is becausefrom the evidencegiven it is
clearthat this age range would read a music magazine themost. This thengives me a clear indication on what I shouldbe tryingto
includewithin the magazine.
3. Question 2
From askingthis questionI was able to find out,how much peoplewere potentiallywilling to pay for a magazine. From asking 12
peopletheanswers that themajority went with was ÂŁ2.00-ÂŁ2.99,thereforewhen creatingmy magazine I need to make sureI include
everythingthat is necessaryand this will then help with coming up for a price of my overall magazine. This is becauseI need to
ensurethat my magazine is affordable for my potentialtargetaudience.
4. Question 3
Fromaskingthis questionit enabled me to find outhow often peoplelike a magazine to be released, from analysing my resultsit is
clearthat most people likea magazine to be releasedoncea week. This also gives me an indication in what people would want in a
magazine becausesomeone who wants a magazine once a week gives a clear indication that they likeup to date stories/music
information.
5. Question 4
Fromaskingthis questionI gained theknowledge that 55%of thosewho answered would like to see exclusiveinterviewswithin my
magazine. Forexample most magazines have at least two interviews within a magazine; this is done to give readersan insight to
celebrityâslives this will attractviewers of all differentages. Also mostreaderswould liketo seeânews of upcomingevents suchas
festivalsâwith 50 % wanting this. Fromthis I can seethat mostof the readersliketo know aboutthings going on not only with
celebritiesbut with things theycan be involved in, suchas going to a festival. This suggeststhatwithin my magazine I needto ensure
thatI includesome upcomingeventnews and tryand gain some exclusiveinterviews.
6. Question 5
It is clear when analysing this graph thatmost of my potentialreaderslistento R&B, with peopleincluding John legend and
Rihanna with 75%choosing this as theirmain focuswhen theylisten to music. This suggeststhat when creatingmy own magazine I
shouldconsider whetherR&B is the choiceof genre I want to choose.
7. Question 6
It is clear from the evidencethat mostpeople pick upa magazine and read it is becauseof theimages given. For example if someone
idolisedan artist suchas JustinTimberlake and he was on thefront of a magazine then it is evident thatthe image of him would
attractsomeone to read it. This suggeststhat when creatingmy magazine because 55%of people read a magazine becauseof the
imageit is necessaryto have an image which is capable of attractingattention.
8. Question 7
Ichose to askthis questionto ensurethat I understoodpotentialreadersneedsand wants within a magazine. This question
showsevidence that 70% of people do not believethe name of a magazine affectswhether someonebuys it or not. This shows
thatwhen creatingmy magazine I shouldfocuson thecontentof the magazine ratherthan the name of the magazine.
However35% of peoplestill said the name of the magazine would affect whether theywould buy themagazine or not this is
stillan indication that I have to choose a name which will still be able to attractreadersand makethem buythe magazine.
This suggeststhatalthoughthe name isnât all that mattersI need to makea clear and wise choiceas to what I would like my
magazine to be called.
