Gemma Malcolm conducted a survey to help inform the design and content of a new music magazine. The survey found that Twitter was more popular than Facebook among respondents. 90% of respondents reported listening to music always. 70% always keep up-to-date with their favorite artists. 60% believed a monthly publication schedule would be better than weekly. All respondents accessed music online, especially by downloading to their computers. 80% go to music festivals and concerts. Respondents preferred both print and online magazines. Most were willing to pay £2.00-2.99 for a magazine. All said they want interactivity in magazines to feel involved and connected. The survey provided a variety of article topic suggestions.
