Mattingly "AI & Prompt Design: The Basics of Prompt Design"
Surgical robots by team 3
1.
2. People who have been operated by robots:
Their surgical operation is much more accurate
and their recovery is faster. Robots are able to
operate in inaccessible parts of their body and
cause less damage in the tissue around their
affected region.
3. Furthermore, Being operated by robots
reduces hospital stay, patients’ trauma and
less time is required to be recovered.
5. The Robot named Minerva was built in
1991. It was designed for neurosurgical
interventions.
6. In the area of bone surgery, Robodoc is one of
the pioneers in the development of a new
technique that works with tomographic images
for pre-planning an intervention hip placement.
Other robots are used in laparoscopic surgery
and Endosista Aesop.
7. Robot arms: Padyc and
Acrobot, which measure
the effort made by the
user.
8. There are robots which allow
surgeons to perform their operation
in long distances. For instance, a
patient can be in London and the
doctor is operating him by
ordering robot arms with a
computer in Manhattan, New
York.
9. There are three metallic designs:
the Pathfinder, the Da Vinci and the RCM-PAKY have
successfully operated dozens of patients worldwide:
First, the Pathfinder specializes in neurosurgery,
specifically in the localization and removal of tumors
in the gray matter, difficult to reach with the human
hand. Next, The Da Vinci, is a robot that specializes in
cardiac surgery and eliminates the need for some
open heart operations. And Finally, RCM-PAKY is a
robot which has been used for over thirty patients to
remove kidney stones.
