IT Support Engineer

Beschrijving:
- Growing European facilities and IT Center of Competence in Belgium is demanding more support resources;
- Total of 400 Notebook and 600 Desktop Users, 40 Servers.

- Operate first and second level support helpdesk for EMEA and provide local first and second level support;
- Log all incoming requests (IT Requests and Trouble tickets);
- Provide status information about IT Requests to EMEA employees;
- Creation of system/user accounts (Network, VPN and SAP account requests);
- Create documentation on PC usage for employees and configuration manuals for IT;
- Provide basic office application support;
- Coordinate & assist in rollout/upgrades/changes of IT hardware and software for EMEA;
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements for IT support issues are met;
- Manage all IT training requirements for users. This includes standard applications, ERP, tools and IT related
procedures and methodologies;


Profiel:
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an IT related Helpdesk;
- Hands-on experience with PCs and Operating systems;

COMPETENCIES
- ITIL or Change Management skills or experience is a plus;
- Analytical and Problem Solving Skills;
- Excellent PC and applications, basic Server and basic networking skills;
- IT Support minded;
- Persistent;
- Good work ethics;
- Fluent English skills, French and German is a plus;
