Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States where stores offer significant price reductions, originally to mark the start of the holiday shopping season, though now also observed in other countries. While known for deep discounts in stores in the US, Black Friday sales in Spain involve some, but smaller, price reductions and fewer shoppers, and the event has also expanded significantly online globally as a major online shopping day of the year with the same sales available on websites.
