Bread And Roses Summary
In the book, Bread and Roses by Bruce Watson, the textile mill workers went on strike to stand for
what s right in Lawrence Massachusetts January 12, 1912. Nearly 30,000 textile workers walked off
their jobs, for 3 months. Workers were furious as they paraded, picketed and stood up violently with
authorities. As they demanded better working conditions, and pay to feed their families. This strike
shook America in many ways leaving Mill owners devastated without workers to work in their textile
mills.
There were strikes before and after but nothing like the Lawrence strike, it was a milestone for the
city, and broadly for labor history and the textile industry, and American immigration. About 27,000
workers were affected with immediate results as wage increased from five to twenty five percent,
overtime pay and a premium system . The aftermath of the strike rippled throughout New England as
textile workers were given a wage increase of five to seven percent. Many textile workers were
satisfied with the higher wages and the new conditions that were given. But it was not enough because
they were practically still poor with bad wages.
Working children in textile mills would get abused for not doing their job good enough or fast enough
in 1912. That wasn t freedom they would get punished for half the pay of a grown man and that was
not fair for the children because they were working to help out their family. Mill owners would beat
them with sticks like animals and that s why

Neighborhood Watch:
Let s Partner with Law Enforcement: Let s Be Vigilant: Let s Legislate!
By: Shelly Ray
Date: 07/15/13
Over the weekend, the nation watched and listened as the Not Guilty verdict was read for second
degree murder and manslaughter charges in the case of George Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman is the 29
year old neighborhood watchman man and man who fired the fatal shot of 17 year old Trayvon Martin
on the evening of February 26, 2012 in Sanford, Florida. The subject I will bring before you is that of
a personal interest, for I live in a gated community that has a neighborhood watch program.
This case has captured the nation s attention and has shined a spotlight in many areas of interest
ranging from self defense to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Last and certainly not least I respect and abide by the laws of our country. If each municipal local
governing agency would pass legislation to ensure the safety of neighborhoods, communities,
civilians, law enforcement and government officials under due proper guidelines, all will have
knowledge of what can and can not be done as a neighborhood watch person. The National Institute of
Justice prepared a report to the United States Congress entitled Preventing Crime: What Works; What
Doesn t; What s Promising. The primary conclusion of the report found that in part enacting programs
in different local communities sometimes work, sometimes don t work in curving crime and in
monitoring the effectiveness of community organizations and neighborhood watch programs. The
report dug into the monies spent for federally to be used in local communities. In 1996, $1.4 billion
was used in funding of local police by the Office for Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS),
and $1.8 billion in local crime prevention assistance funding of a wide range of institutions by the
Office for Justice Programs (OJP). Although funding is still being received and legislation being
enacted, it is primarily up to local communities to pass legislation that is in the best interest of all of
the citizens in each respective community.
In Conclusion, our society has a fundamental principal that says I am my brother s keeper. The

An Analysis Of Modest Proposal By Jonathan Swift
Arnel John Chester Gasic
Professor Stricker
GEW 101
November 3, 2015
The Irony in Cannibalism Humor in serious topics can bring the light side of things and can also bring
more attention than just talking about them. In Modest Proposal written by Jonathan Swift, he uses
humor to talk about the famine that was happening back then and proposes an economical idea. By
using the word Proposal in his title, he gives a reasonably suggestion to aid the Irish, Swift mentions
them one by one the many benefits and counters the objections many may have, uses rhetorical
reasoning and proves his humanitarian views. Swift has written in detail over the degree of poverty in
IReland, he draws attention to the causes of it and proves in great detail that his Proposal will work in
which ways it does work. Jonathan Swift had a rough childhood only raised by his mother. Swift s
mother did not have a steady income and struggled to raise Swift all by her self. Swift was later passed
on to his dad s brother who was wealthy. Transitioning from poor to wealthy was difficult for Swift
but it let him see both sides of the world. Swift worked as English statesman for 10 years and helped
for political errands (The Biography.com Editors 2015). In 1712, he moved back to Ireland as soon as
he saw that Tories would fall from power. He has written many famous writings, including Gulliver s

Essay On The Lion King As A Short Story
AS THE THRONE ROOM CLEARS, Gawin pauses at the double doors, signaling with a slight nod
to the Kingsmen guarding them.
The Kingsmen returns Gawin s nods and closes the doors.
At which point, Gawin glides as if his feet never touched the floor to a crestfallen King David, staring
onwards in his throne with his right hand clenched into a fist, holding up his cleft chin. Your grace, he
asked, is everything all right?
The King answered humbly, choosing an unburdensome subject matter to discuss. My eldest son will
soon wed.
The prince has chosen an excellent maiden to be his wife, Gawin said formally as if his Seeker s
ability did not play a significant role in the betrothal. Has his grace, finally found a suitor for your
eldest daughter, Princess Kathrynne?
The lines around King David s eyes immediately soften, at the very mention of his daughter s name.
He leans back in his massive throne, carved in the shape of a roaring lion (his family s crest), resting
his head underneath the lion s mouth. Seeker, I ve chosen many suitors, but the Princess keeps
rebuffing them, he tells him. The King s mind was more at ease in Gawin s presence enough to speak
openly without fear of his Royal Seeker repeating his most intimate thoughts. If my daughter wishes
to be Queen someday, he adds, she ll need to find a husband soon to appease the council and her
future subjects.
Invoking a sincere sympathy in Gawin from the King s pessimistic tone, making it visible to the Royal

Evaluation Of A Semi Structured Interview
Analysis of Results In order to meet the study objectives, in addition to the case study, a semi
structured interview was conducted using non random sampling. As respondents of the interview had
to have particular characteristics such as ability to value property and knowledge about the property
market, estate agents were contacted. A total of 7 interviews were conducted with estate agents in the
West Hampstead/Kilburn area. The interviews lasted approximately 10 minutes. The participants were
as follows: Table 2: Participants Participant Company 1 Maygrove Estates 2 Hunters 3 Foxtons 4
Foxtons 5 Dutch and Dutch 6 Plasso 7 Plasso All the participants had between 6 months to 6 years of
experience of being an estate agent. As stated previously, recording the interviews was not allowed
due to confidentiality reasons therefore there might be a slight bias in the responses as they were
written by the interviewer and not transcribed. For each question the analysis involved coding the
answer by placing it into a category. Once the categories were established they were placed into a
table and the frequency of each was recorded. The method of analysis is a descriptive method of
frequency distribution. For each question a table of the frequency of distribution is presented together
with a bar chart followed by an analysis of the results and discussion. The raw data is available in the

The Human Genome
The human genome is a vast sequence of nucleic acids consisting of adenine, thymine, guanine, and
cytosine which are connected into a long polymer by a sugar phosphate backbone. The entirety of the
genome is approximately 3 billion base pairs which encodes for all functional proteins and RNA
molecules needed for life. Remarkably, only a small fraction of the genome actually constitute genes;
about 15% of the genome are genes or gene related sequences, while 85% of the genome is noncoding
(Krawczak and Schmidtke, 1994). Of the noncoding region there are specific regions that vary highly
between individual people. These regions are polymorphic, or in other words have many different
forms. Some loci vary so much that it is rare to find ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The amount each sequence is repeated varies between individuals and the specific nucleotide pattern
can differ as well (Krawczak and Schmidtke, 1994). However, high quantities of DNA were needed to
acquire accurate results when comparing VNTR regions. Therefore short tandem repeats (STRs), or
microsatellites, proved to be better suited for use in forensic analysis. STRs are similar to VNTRs in
that they are portions of the noncoding DNA that contain various amounts of repeated units. But in
regards to VNTRs, STRs have a much shorter repetitive sequence, usually between 2 to 6 nucleotides,
but sometimes can be up to 10 base pairs (Figure 1). The small size of STRs in comparison to VNTRs
allows for more efficient amplification of the DNA via PCR and enables scientists to use DNA that
has been more significantly degraded. Forensic analysts compare 13 different STR locations plus one
that determines gender of the obtained sample (Roewer, 2013). STRs vary highly between individuals;
for example, one person could have an STR at a specific locus encoding the following:
CGCGCGCGCGCG, whereas another person could have CGCG at the same locus.
In these tandemly repeated units, there is a higher extent for variation between these sequences than
found in gene sequences due to the organism being more tolerant to aberrations in these portions of
the genome. Therefore these areas will have many different forms, sometimes as many as 2000. Thus
if several

Essay Pericles
Pericles was born in Athens to in an aristocratic family sometime around 493BC (Lewis). His father,
Xanthippus, was a military leader in the battle of Mycale in 479BC who defeated the last vestiges of
Xerxes fleet (Halsall). Pericles mother was Agariste was a member of the Alcmaeonid family (Lewis).
Given that he was of aristocratic birth Pericles received his education from some of the greatest minds
in Greece (Lewis). He was educated musically by Damon and philosophically by Zenon of Elea and
Anaxagoras (Pericles (c. 495 429)). His companions were great thinkers such as Sophocles,
Herodotus, and Socrates (Pericles (c. 495 429)). One of the greatest influences in his life is said to be

In the aftermath of the council losing its power another Athenian, Cimon, attempted to stress a new
conservatism within Athens and a pushed for cooperation and peace between Athens and Sparta
(Pericles). Pericles and Ephialtes began the prosecution of Cimon which led to him being ostracized
for ten years (Pericles). Ostracism, as defined by the Merriam Webster Dictionary, is a method of
temporary banishment by popular vote without trial or special accusation practiced in ancient Greece
(Merriam Webster, Incorporated). In the violence that followed Ephialtes was assassinated (Lewis).
Pericles continued to worry the aristocracy by pushing for a law to only grant citizenship to people
born of two Athenian parents (Pericles (c. 495 429)). It was not uncommon during this time for people
of aristocratic birth to marry outside of Athens to gain more wealth and status (Lewis). Some saw this
as a final attempt to prevent Cimon challenging Pericles for power once he was allowed to return to
Athens since Cimon had a foreign mother (Lewis). In 477 BC the Delian League was formed as an
alliance between Greeks to pay for war expenses (Pericles). The treasury was based in Athens and all
members pledged an eternal alliance under Athenian leadership (Pericles). An audit was agreed upon
of each cities financial situation ensuring that each paid their fair share (Pericles). It was further
decided that Athens would provide the commander of the Delian League and that person would

Ip Special Education
Another change in special education involves the inclusion and acceptance of students with disabilities
in public school settings. An essential aspect of integrating special education students into public
schools is the idea of Individualized Education Programs (IEP). If a child is enrolled in a special
education program, it is mandatory that they be assigned an IEP. This legal document, required by law,
outlines the child s learning needs, the services that will be provided for them, and how their progress
and achievement will be measured annually. The IEP lists the academic and functional skills that the
IEP team thinks your child can achieve by the end of the year. Annual educational goals should help
your child participate in the general education classroom (Stanberry). An IEP is an accurate ... Show

Taking advantage of the technology provided for students with disabilities has benefitted them greatly
in the areas of personal learning and accomplishments. Before the Least Restrictive Environment Act
was enacted, qualifications and classifications of students with disabilities had been significantly
behind. After new changes, the social benefit it had on many students involved in special education
was very evident in their behavior and understanding of the material being taught. The Least
Restrictive Environment Act essentially establishes the rights for handicapped children to be educated
with their non disabled peers to the greatest extent appropriate. The requirement in part was an
impetus for previously self contained special education programs to be integrated into the regular
education schools and into the regular education classrooms (Nitsch). This act has a prominent role in
closing the gap between special education and general education classrooms, to which we still follow

A Midsummer Night Dream Research Paper
A Midsummer s Night Dream Topic
Everybody has heard of Shakespeare and his play A Midsummer s Night Dream. As the play is very
good, it could be debated about what the story truly is about. Comedy? Romance? Manipulation? The
answer is obviously love. With everybody loving another, the whole thing focused on their love
problems, and the main problem of the story, the love flower, who can deny? The characters in the
story are Lysander, Demetrius, Helena, and Hermia. These characters are often called the lovers (5.1 1,

has Hermia s father s permission. Then there is Helena, who wants Demetrius to love her back. It s a

Tencent Games big market share. According to research data, since 2009, Tencent Games became as
the company who controls the largest market share in Chinese gaming industry. As of 2015, Tencent

Firstly, the degree of customers satisfaction will be influenced negatively when people realize the
company, whose services are used by them, is considered a company with a bad reputation. In May
2007, Tencent Games announced its first self developed Kart Rider game QQ Speed. The game went
viral quickly since the day of the announcement. After one year of operation, QQ Speed attracted
nearly one million users who were playing the game at the same time. In August 2009, however,
Tencent Games received a subpoena from NEXON (a Korean game company who developed a similar
Kart Rider game before Tencent) which declared that QQ speed s physical engine (an engine for game
designing) was more than 80% similar to NEXON s game. In other words, they claimed that Tencent
Games was copying NEXON. It was not true, however. Tencent presented enough evidence to show
that they were innocent, and they did win the lawsuit. What they did not realize was the fact that news
about the trial spread faster than the company could imagine, and since Tencent Games has
experienced similar cases before, the public doubted Tencent Games reputation right after the news
came out. Three months later, Tencent conducted customer research internally (not through the public
but through their internal database). Through Tencent s bulletin

The Emotions Of The Brain Impacted By Emotions
An emotion is described as, a conscious mental reaction subjectively experienced as a strong feeling
usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral
changes in the body (Merriam Webster, n.d.). Strong feelings of emotion, such as anger, love, fear, joy,
hate, etc., impact parts of the brain, both positively and negatively, and how an individual learns.
In regards to the parts of the brain impacted by emotions, the limbic system is made of six different
parts. First, the almond shaped amygdala, is located in the medial temporal lobe, handles intense
emotional responses, such as aggression or fear, and is very important in emotional learning.
Secondly, is the hippocampus. The hippocampus also is located in the medial temporal lobe, is a
structure where short term memories are formed and, plays a role in emotions and memory. The third
part of the brain impacted by emotions is the pre frontal cortex that is located near the front of the
head. It is involved in decision making in response to emotions. The fourth is the hypothalamus. This
structure is located in the diencephalon, feeds information into the amygdala, and acts as a regulator of
emotion. The hypothalamus controls sexual desire, pleasure, aggression, and anger. The cingulated
gyrus is the fifth part of the brain impacted by emotions. An important part of the limbic system, the
cingulate gyrus helps regulate emotions and pain. The cingulate gyrus is thought

Motifs In No Country For Old Men
Ethan Coen and Joel Coen s film No Country For Old Men depicts a world that truly is no place for an
old man. The film presents two motifs the first being that times have changed and the world isn t what
it used to be. The second motif is that the three main characters don t belong or fit in with the world
they live in. The two main motifs are present through the character of Ed Tom Bell. Bell is an old
police officer who can t grasp his head around the idea that the world he lives in has changed. He
struggles the most trying to follow a case that has ruthless murders for no apparent reason. Leaving
Bell questioning what has happened to the world and wondering where he fist in. The Coen brothers

Through the mis en scene of costumes, the motif of good and evil, and the non sequential time line it
can be seen that the world the main characters live in truly is no place for old men. The character of
Ed Tom Bell is the main vehicle for the Coen brothers to present the two motifs. The costuming of
dark clothing on Chigur helps present the motif of not belonging and Moss s light clothing that blends
in with the dessert presents the motif of that the dessert is where he belongs but that motif is thrown
out the window when he leaves the dessert. The motif of good and evil is presented by the Coen
brothers to progress Ed Tom Bell s character into seeing what is wrong with the world he lives in.
Lastly the non sequential timeline ties the whole film together by giving Ed Tom Bell a place to vent
his true feeling about the world he lives in. These three things prove the the universe the film takes

performances consisted of ten jazz songs and one funky song.
The concert began with an upbeat tune called Loafin led by the trumpet section and drums. The
rhythm pattern was consistent compared to Horn of Puente and Pipe Dreams which the rhythm
patterns were infrequent. In Horn of Puente, the congas had one section and Pipe Dreams, began with
the drums and saxophones which returned later in the piece. The musicians maintained a steady beat
in the performance but especially in Brushes Anyone which included a drum solo. The drum solo had
a mixture of short and long sounds. When the music transitioned to the solos, there was a pause in the

Almost Conflict In Regard To Richard Dawkins
In a way, I feel almost conflicted in regard to the Richard Dawkins quote. On one hand, I agree very
much with what Dawkins said. When we think about it, it is truly amazing how many possible
potential people there are that could be created, yet haven t been yet, or many never be. There is so
much unknown, that, sadly enough, we may never know of. Surely there is a scientist out there that
holds all the answers to life after death, and a playwright with more timely works than Shakespeare.
But still, they all remain a mystery. And, who knows, they may remain that way for a long, long time;
probably longer than you and I combined. And it makes me think: what are we missing out so greatly
on? How simple and basic are our lives now, compared

Christopher Columbus vs. Alvez Nunez Cabeza de Vaca Essay
Christopher Columbus and Alvez Nunez Cabeza de Vaca were both explorers for Spain, but under
different rulers and different times. The more famous, Christopher Columbus, came before de Vaca s
time. Columbus sailed a series of four voyages between 1492 and 1504 in search for a route to Asia
which led accidentally to his discovery of new land inhabited with Indians. Christopher sailed under
the Spanish monarchs, Ferdinand and Isabella for his journey to the Indies, whom he was loyal to by
claiming everything in their name. De Vaca , followed in Christopher s footsteps and journeyed to

During his fourth voyage, Christopher endured many hazards, like imprisonment, which triggered him
to compose a letter filled with his many accomplishments that he believes went unnoticed. Columbus
had hopes that this will generate some sort of pity from the monarchs.
Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca wrote his letters for entirely different reasons. His sole purpose was to
inform others (of his sufferings and his discoveries of the Native Americans). He also wanted to
justify his conclusions regarding Spanish policy and behavior in America which is mainly addressed

Analysis Of Tim O Brien s The Things They Carried...
In this paper I will argue that in Tim O Brien s The Things They Carried during the war a person
experience develop guilt from an event that happened during the war and how it affects them for life.
The three people specifically, I will take about are First Lieutenant Jimmy Cross, Norman Bowker,
and Tim. Telling about how the experienced guilt, where the guilt comes from, and if they ever find
absolution. The first story of two stories for First Lieutenant Jimmy Cross feels guilty about the death
of Ted Lavender after he goes off by himself to pee and on his way back he was shot in the head on his
way back from peeing. Cross Lieutenant Jimmy Cross feels guilty for the death of Ted Lavender
because he had loved Martha more than his men, and as a consequence Lavender was now dead, and
this was something he would have to carry like a stone in his stomach for the rest of the war (pg. 16).
Lieutenant Cross blames Ted Lavender dead on loving Martha more than his men is justified because
he kept every letter she send him, when it mind would wander he would be thinking if Martha was a
virgin, keep to picture of Martha in his wallet. There are three quotes justifying this he loved Martha
more than his men. The first time after a day s march, cross would dig his foxhole, wash his hands
under a canteen, unwrap the letters, hold them with the tips of his fingers, and spend the last hour of
light pretending (pg. 1). The second time when was Jimmy time to check the perimeter, he

Police Legitimacy Summary
Referring to my reading on the article compromise police legitimacy as a predictor of violent crime in
structurally disadvantage communities by Robert J. Kane. I found procedural justice an idea, which is
largely consisting of the equality methods of the law making process, that relate to the concept of legal
rational authority. This model it also shows the concerns and the issues of the legal authority in the
consensus based process, in how the law enforcement interacts with the public by applying the right
and fair choices of process. Police legitimacy is another term in this article, which refers to the police
authority where law enforcement has the right to use of power when is needed. Corresponding to their

World War I Poetry with Emphasis on Wilfred Owens
World War I spanned four years, from June 1914 to June 1918. During this war, technological
advances increased the danger for the soldiers who took part in battle. Poison gas and trench warfare
transformed World War I into a cesspool of sickness and death. Poetry during World War I provided a
way to connect people back home with the horrific lifestyle soldiers had to face on a daily basis. Poets
such as Wilfred Owens used vivid imagery, dire diction, and other literary devices to depict the
grueling tasks of warfare. World War I, otherwise known as the Great War, began on June 28th, 1914,
when Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo, Bosnia. This began a four year war that

But the struggle, and the sense that one is saving bits from the wreckage, doesn t give one a chance to

Chemical warfare was developed by German scientist in 1914, but was not deemed chivalrous until
January 1915. . The Germans launched the first major poison gas attack near Ypres on April 22, 1915.
French colonial troops were the victims. Two days later another gas attack hit Canadian troops who
had just entered the trenches. On both occasions the Germans inflicted thousands of casualties and
penetrated enemy lines but failed to achieve the hoped for decisive results. Much the same pattern
would follow as the war progressed. Following the initial German example, both sides used
increasingly treacherous varieties of poison gas and perfected methods of delivery (Lengel 18). The
use of poison gas claimed the lives of 500,000 to 650,000 people. One man who served for the British
Expeditionary Force described poison gas as, a crawling yellow cloud that pours in upon you, that gets
you by the throat and shakes you as a huge mastiff might shake a kitten, leaves you burning in every
nerve and vein of your body with pain unthinkable (Gay). Wilfred Owens was born on March 18,

Immigration and Crime Rates in the United States
I. INTRODUCTION:
The study I am researching examines if there is a positive correlation between crime rates and
immigration in the United States. A report from the Department of Justice in 2014 found, almost 50%
of federal crimes were committed near the Mexican border. Of the 61,529 criminal cases initiated by
federal prosecutors last fiscal year .
One third of Americans consider immigrants to be the cause of increased violent crimes Data shows
citizens with a higher population of immigrants like New York are known as crime ridden in
mainstream media. Data shows from the Federal Bureau of Investigations the foreign born are very

immigrants have a positive impact on homicide while other reports indicated that there is no
correlation to the fluctuation in crime rates. Large cities that have high numbers of Hispanics have
been studied, to determine if homicides in those has increased in violent crime rates. An examination
of this study is important because lowering crime rates is important to U.S citizens. Data shows about

Effect of Surface Area to Volume Ratio on Rate of Osmosis
[Type text] [Type text] [Type text]
_An experiment on the effect of surface area to volume ratio on the rate of osmosis of Solanum
tuberosum L._
BACKGROUND
A cell needs to perform diffusion in order to survive. Substances, including water, ions, and molecules
that are required for cellular activities, can enter and leave cells by a passive process such as diffusion.
Diffusion is random movement of molecules in a net direction from a region of higher concentration
to a region of lower concentration order to reach equilibrium. Diffusion does not require any energy
input. Diffusion is needed for basic cell functions for example, in humans, cells obtain oxygen via
diffusion from the alveoli of the lungs into the blood and in plants water ... Show more content on

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the potato cube with the highest surface area to volume ratio (the 1x1x1 cube) had the
fastest rate of diffusion as it had the largest percentage increase in mass. While all the other cubes of
potato had larger increases in mass at face value compared to the smallest cube, the smallest cube had
the largest overall gain in percentage. The results support my hypothesis that the smallest cube will
have a higher rate of osmosis because it has a proportionally larger amount of surface area compared
to its volume.
As seen from the graph above, despite my hypothesis being correct, the trend in the percentage
increase of mass was not a steady

Safe Drinking Water In Bangladesh Essay
Safe drinking water is essential for healthy life, and United Nations (UN) General Assembly declared
safe and clean drinking water as a human right essential to the full enjoyment of life [1]. Moreover,
the importance of water, sanitation and hygiene for health and development has been reflected in the
outcomes of a series of international policy forums [1]. These have also included health and water
oriented conferences, but most importantly in the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) adopted by
the General Assembly of the UN in 2000. The UN General Assembly declared the period from 2005 to
2015 as the International Decade for Action, Water for Life [1]. Access to safe drinking water is
important as a health and development issue at national, regional and local levels. Bangladesh, a
developing country from South Asian (SA) region also takes several steps for ensuring sanitation and
safe drinking water facilities among the people. As a result, Bangladesh has made great progress in
this sector. The government also claimed that it has achieved the MDG indicator of ensuring safe
drinking water for 85% people of the country. According to different demographic and health surveys,
the percentage of using improved sources of drinking water is about 98% (reported in the latest two
surveys Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) 2012 13 and Bangladesh Demographic and Health
Survey (BDHS) 2014) [2,3]. But, this achievement statistics are overlooking the shortcomings. The

Abstract
The technology in nineteenth century is referred to the practical arts used to create physical products
everything from wagon to steam engine. But in twentieth century the word was expanded to include
everything involved in satisfying human material wants. In this we can see the concepts and
significance of the technology, how the technology emerged, what is the internal process of
technology, and classification of technology. For this term project I would like to talk about the file

Out of many technologies I would like to choose File Sharing Technology which is a product of
engineering science to study the natural world. File sharing has been an element of centralized server
and multi client PC frameworks for a long time. With the appearance of the Internet, a document
exchange framework called the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) has turn out to be broadly utilized. FTP
can be utilized to get to (peruse and potentially keep in touch with) records shared among a specific
arrangement of clients with a watchword to get entrance to documents shared from a FTP server site.
Numerous FTP destinations offer open record sharing or possibly the capacity to view or duplicate
documents by downloading them, utilizing an open watchword (which happens to be mysterious ).
Most Web webpage designers use FTP to transfer new or changed Web documents to a Web server,
and for sure the World Wide Web itself can be considered as extensive scale record partaking in which
asked for pages or records are continually being downloaded or replicated down to the Web client.
However, file sharing implies a system in which client keep in touch with and in additional read files
or in which clients are dispensed some measures of space for individual records on a typical server,
offering access to different client as they see fit. The recent sort of record sharing is basic in schools
and colleges. File sharing can be

The Parking Lot Of Walmart
Officer Ogden reports patrolling the parking lot of Walmart, located at 18631 W Kellogg drive, and
observing a male, the sole occupant of the vehicle, drive through the parking lot in a green Jeep Grand
Cherokee. It appeared to Ogden that the driver may not have been wearing a seat belt, but Ogden was
unable to positively determine if the driver had a seat belt on or not. Ogden followed the vehicle out of
the parking lot using the southeast exit and traveled north on 183 rd. As Ogden followed the vehicle,
he noticed that the vehicle did not signal to make a right turn onto US 54 until approximately 50 feet
from the intersection, well north of Murphy s gas station. Ogden then ran the license plate and saw it
was registered to a female out of Wichita. Ogden followed the vehicle east on US 54 and waited for
radio traffic to clear to call out the stop. Dispatch was notified that a traffic stop would be conducted,
projecting the 16500 block of W US 54. Ogden activated his lights and followed the vehicle until the
vehicle pulled into a private drive at 15901 W US 54 and stopped. Ogden made contact with the driver
and explained the reason for stop. The driver attempted to argue until Ogden informed him that the
infraction had been recorded. Ogden then asked the driver for his license and proof of insurance. The
driver produced an expired Kansas identification card, identifying the driver as James Douglas

The Motif of Ernest Hemingway´s A Farewell to Arms
The world contains many recurring events that remind humans of morals or things that are important.
In the novel A Farewell to Arms many events come again and again. Usually, these events that repeat
or come again have a deeper message inscribed in the text. This is not unlike whereas the novel The
Great Gatsby has weather that unfailingly matches up with the tone and mood of the text. The author
Ernest Hemingway has created A Farewell to Arms with a motif that is very precise. The motif of rain
and nature in Hemingway s novel divulges that there are things that a human beings cannot control;
making them recognize what they lack and how life can bring sadness.

The rain which is death the leaves which represent life, fell and rotted. Rain is a spontaneous thing and
is not scheduled, planned and is not in our power. Nature has a mind of its own and for humans or the
people in the war to have that power are supernatural which one cannot have that kind of power. Also,
humans are not capable of controlling life itself. If that were to happen in this world, there would be
chaos in power and no one would be able to die peacefully and obtain that beauty of dying a heroic
death. Life cannot be controlled and some people see death as a beauty for it takes humanity to God.
But in life, there are many things that have been with us but when we realize that it is gone, we are
burdened with our own sadness.
Ronald Oliver, a director said that Women don t know what they want. Men never know what they
have. The rain in the novel alters the characters mind to remind them of what they do not have. The
rain brings this quote into thought about what Henry sees and feels. You knew it rained down that

looking at the rain and wishes that he could be in her arms and that he too could hold her one more

Themes Of The Book Thief
The Book Thief is set in the time of World War 2 where the Holocaust is present and disaster is
everywhere. Throughout the story, Liesel, the main character, learns that words are extremely
powerful and hold the ability for people to use them for good or for evil. Among the disaster and
altercations, Liesel uses her literature to comfort her and make herself more powerful due to her
knowledge, which demonstrates the theme of the story, the comfort and power of literature and words
softens the pain of loss. Liesel, the book thief herself, steals books in times of pain. All six books
Liesel steals are metaphors for the feelings of loss and pain during the time of which the book was
stolen. She uses the books to grow knowledge of the situations occurring around her, one stolen book
in particular is The Gravedigger s Handbook This book is the first of all books Liesel steals, and it is
the book that caused her to grow to love words, coincidently, she finds this book in the snow on the
day of her brother s death, which is when she was filled with grief and abandonment. This book is a
symbol for Liesel s grief and as she tries to learn how to read the book, her twisted comfort in the
story shows how the words had a powerful effect on her grieving process shown by the quotation,

Screwtape Letter Essay
In the Screwtape Letter, by C.S. Lewis, Srewtape insists that all pleasures are created by the Enemy,
meaning God, and that demons have not figured out how to create them. It s an idea commonly seen in
Christian theology. God brought all things into this world to be good, and those things can and have
been corrupted by demons and the lot. What Screwtape is saying is that, God wants people to
experience pleasure, and that it is a demon s job to corrupt a person s sense of that pleasure. Screwtape
brings up the idea multiple times throughout his letters. He mentions it mainly with talking about love
and corrupting Wormwood s human s idea of love. His focus on it seems to show some kind of
fascination. Possibly that of envy. Not in the sense ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Surely if God created all pleasures, then all pleasures are good, and thus, sin cannot exist. However,
each person possess free will, and with that free will, must choose a path that brings them to God.
Therefore, without some temptations, free will would be rather pointless, as everyone would forcibly
be in the grace of God.
While that s a possibility, a much more likely reason is presented in the Screwtape Letters. Which is,
once again, that demons corrupt that which God has already establish. Screwtape is constantly telling
Wormwood how to use and abuse the free will which God has given humans, and even mentions at
one point how easy it would be for God to just draw everyone to him, but how it would violate free
will. So really, it is a combination of both free will and God punishing those who fall from his path
and allow themselves to be controlled by demons.
In conclusion, all pleasures were made by God. They were not intended to be sin, however, demons
corrupted them into sin, to draw people into their domain. Humans, having free will, are freely
influenced off the path to God into that sin, by demons. In Screwtape Letters, Screwtape frequently
talks about using pleasures and exploiting free will for Wormwood to ensure he captures the soul of
the human he s assigned

An OnDemand system has one library server and one or more object servers. An object server can
operate on the same server or node as the library server or on a different server or node than the library
server.
OnDemand client programs operate on personal computers running on Windows. Using the client
program, users can construct queries and search for reports, retrieve documents from OnDemand,
view, print, and fax copies or pages of documents, and attach electronic notes to pages of a document.
OnDemand servers manage control information and index data, store and retrieve documents and
resource group files, and process query requests from OnDemand client programs. The documents can
reside on disk, optical, and tape storage volumes.
When a user submits a query, the client program sends a search request to the OnDemand library

user selects a document for viewing, the client program retrieves a copy of the document from the
object server where the document is stored, opens a viewing window, and displays the document.

Biological Magnification
As seen in graph 1.1, group members observed that the number of toxins that were accumulated each
week were all in even numbers. Also, during weeks 0 4, the accumulation of toxins in each week seem
to be decreasing bit by bit, but then at week five the accumulation increased a bit (12, 10, 9, 7, 8).
Discussion
Looking back at the data and results collected, in five weeks the great blue heron will die. The group
has successfully modeled a simulation of what will happen to the great blue heron when biological
magnification occurs. Based on graph 1.1, at week five there are 46 toxins in the bird. This means that
at that time the great blue heron has accumulated more than 44 toxins, passing the lethal threshold of

The salt marsh is an ecosystem that has many different organisms and species dwelling upon the
surface. Of these organisms, they include sea lettuce, the Sheepshead Minnow, Fluke and the Great
Blue Heron. These organisms interact with each other in the ecosystem. The sea lettuce is a producer,
which gets eaten by the consumer, the minnows. Then, minnow is eaten by a secondary consumer, a
fluke. Lastly, the Great blue Heron, as a top predator and tertiary consumer, eats the fluke. Through
this process, toxins are transferred from trophic level to trophic level. An example of this is the BP oil
spill, which released a large amount of toxins to the ocean, and animals can take in the toxins, causing
large amounts of deaths. Each organism has a lethal threshold, or the amount of toxins an organism
can have before death. The Great Blue Heron in this case has a lethal threshold of 44 toxins
(EduChange, 2004). A lab has been done to model the biological magnification of toxins in an
ecosystem with the Great Blue Heron. If a Great Blue Heron eats for five weeks, then the animal will
die because the lethal threshold of 44 toxins has been passed and the toxins cannot be

Stress Of Stress In Nursing
With the high demand of medical professionals and increasing numbers of people with chronic
diseased, there might be a time where one nurse have to over see more patients than normal. Taking
care of extra patients than normal might bring some work burnout and prevent nursing professionals
from performing their job effectively. A study was done to measure the stress level of nurses working
on the oncology department and the effect of stress leading the nurses to consider looking for job in
other departments. It was found that 35% of the nurses were experiencing emotional stress and 17 %
were depersonalized which then resulted in considering for other opportunities in less stressful
departments (Davis S, Lind BK, Sorensen C, 2013). Stress can be experience from many factors such
as death of a patient, patient s family history, severity of patient s health condition, and emotional
attachment with patients. As a nursing professional, one have to witness devastating situations such as
death of loved ones. It has been found that death and close relationship with patients and working
environment are the main factors causing stress among nurses (Pavlos S et. al, 2016). Despite the fact
that nursing professionals have to go through many stressful situations at work and may be in their

However, past studies show, if a voters experience involves standing in large lines for long periods of
time, they are less likely to go through the hassle of voting in the future as a result. In addition, long
lines can raise trust issues among voters. Badger agrees, stating surveys also show that people who
wait longer to vote have less confidence that their votes are counted accurately (20). Overall,
continuing to use DREs which have had many technical difficulties causing long lines may affect
whether someone votes in the future, which possibly affects the outcomes of

  • 2. Bread And Roses Summary In the book, Bread and Roses by Bruce Watson, the textile mill workers went on strike to stand for what s right in Lawrence Massachusetts January 12, 1912. Nearly 30,000 textile workers walked off their jobs, for 3 months. Workers were furious as they paraded, picketed and stood up violently with authorities. As they demanded better working conditions, and pay to feed their families. This strike shook America in many ways leaving Mill owners devastated without workers to work in their textile mills. There were strikes before and after but nothing like the Lawrence strike, it was a milestone for the city, and broadly for labor history and the textile industry, and American immigration. About 27,000 workers were affected with immediate results as wage increased from five to twenty five percent, overtime pay and a premium system . The aftermath of the strike rippled throughout New England as textile workers were given a wage increase of five to seven percent. Many textile workers were satisfied with the higher wages and the new conditions that were given. But it was not enough because they were practically still poor with bad wages. Working children in textile mills would get abused for not doing their job good enough or fast enough in 1912. That wasn t freedom they would get punished for half the pay of a grown man and that was not fair for the children because they were working to help out their family. Mill owners would beat them with sticks like animals and that s why ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Neighborhood Watch Neighborhood Watch: Let s Partner with Law Enforcement: Let s Be Vigilant: Let s Legislate! By: Shelly Ray Date: 07/15/13 Over the weekend, the nation watched and listened as the Not Guilty verdict was read for second degree murder and manslaughter charges in the case of George Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman is the 29 year old neighborhood watchman man and man who fired the fatal shot of 17 year old Trayvon Martin on the evening of February 26, 2012 in Sanford, Florida. The subject I will bring before you is that of a personal interest, for I live in a gated community that has a neighborhood watch program. Last and certainly not least I respect and abide by the laws of our country. If each municipal local governing agency would pass legislation to ensure the safety of neighborhoods, communities, civilians, law enforcement and government officials under due proper guidelines, all will have knowledge of what can and can not be done as a neighborhood watch person. The National Institute of Justice prepared a report to the United States Congress entitled Preventing Crime: What Works; What Doesn t; What s Promising. The primary conclusion of the report found that in part enacting programs in different local communities sometimes work, sometimes don t work in curving crime and in monitoring the effectiveness of community organizations and neighborhood watch programs. The report dug into the monies spent for federally to be used in local communities. In 1996, $1.4 billion was used in funding of local police by the Office for Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), and $1.8 billion in local crime prevention assistance funding of a wide range of institutions by the Office for Justice Programs (OJP). Although funding is still being received and legislation being enacted, it is primarily up to local communities to pass legislation that is in the best interest of all of the citizens in each respective community. In Conclusion, our society has a fundamental principal that says I am my brother s keeper. The Neighborhood Watch program ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. An Analysis Of Modest Proposal By Jonathan Swift Arnel John Chester Gasic Professor Stricker GEW 101 November 3, 2015 The Irony in Cannibalism Humor in serious topics can bring the light side of things and can also bring more attention than just talking about them. In Modest Proposal written by Jonathan Swift, he uses humor to talk about the famine that was happening back then and proposes an economical idea. By using the word Proposal in his title, he gives a reasonably suggestion to aid the Irish, Swift mentions them one by one the many benefits and counters the objections many may have, uses rhetorical reasoning and proves his humanitarian views. Swift has written in detail over the degree of poverty in IReland, he draws attention to the causes of it and proves in great detail that his Proposal will work in which ways it does work. Jonathan Swift had a rough childhood only raised by his mother. Swift s mother did not have a steady income and struggled to raise Swift all by her self. Swift was later passed on to his dad s brother who was wealthy. Transitioning from poor to wealthy was difficult for Swift but it let him see both sides of the world. Swift worked as English statesman for 10 years and helped for political errands (The Biography.com Editors 2015). In 1712, he moved back to Ireland as soon as he saw that Tories would fall from power. He has written many famous writings, including Gulliver s Travel Ireland was a colony of England; it was economically, politically, and militarily ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Essay On The Lion King As A Short Story AS THE THRONE ROOM CLEARS, Gawin pauses at the double doors, signaling with a slight nod to the Kingsmen guarding them. The Kingsmen returns Gawin s nods and closes the doors. At which point, Gawin glides as if his feet never touched the floor to a crestfallen King David, staring onwards in his throne with his right hand clenched into a fist, holding up his cleft chin. Your grace, he asked, is everything all right? The King answered humbly, choosing an unburdensome subject matter to discuss. My eldest son will soon wed. The prince has chosen an excellent maiden to be his wife, Gawin said formally as if his Seeker s ability did not play a significant role in the betrothal. Has his grace, finally found a suitor for your eldest daughter, Princess Kathrynne? The lines around King David s eyes immediately soften, at the very mention of his daughter s name. He leans back in his massive throne, carved in the shape of a roaring lion (his family s crest), resting his head underneath the lion s mouth. Seeker, I ve chosen many suitors, but the Princess keeps rebuffing them, he tells him. The King s mind was more at ease in Gawin s presence enough to speak openly without fear of his Royal Seeker repeating his most intimate thoughts. If my daughter wishes to be Queen someday, he adds, she ll need to find a husband soon to appease the council and her future subjects. Invoking a sincere sympathy in Gawin from the King s pessimistic tone, making it visible to the Royal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Evaluation Of A Semi Structured Interview Analysis of Results In order to meet the study objectives, in addition to the case study, a semi structured interview was conducted using non random sampling. As respondents of the interview had to have particular characteristics such as ability to value property and knowledge about the property market, estate agents were contacted. A total of 7 interviews were conducted with estate agents in the West Hampstead/Kilburn area. The interviews lasted approximately 10 minutes. The participants were as follows: Table 2: Participants Participant Company 1 Maygrove Estates 2 Hunters 3 Foxtons 4 Foxtons 5 Dutch and Dutch 6 Plasso 7 Plasso All the participants had between 6 months to 6 years of experience of being an estate agent. As stated previously, recording the interviews was not allowed due to confidentiality reasons therefore there might be a slight bias in the responses as they were written by the interviewer and not transcribed. For each question the analysis involved coding the answer by placing it into a category. Once the categories were established they were placed into a table and the frequency of each was recorded. The method of analysis is a descriptive method of frequency distribution. For each question a table of the frequency of distribution is presented together with a bar chart followed by an analysis of the results and discussion. The raw data is available in the Appendix 7. • 8. The Human Genome The human genome is a vast sequence of nucleic acids consisting of adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine which are connected into a long polymer by a sugar phosphate backbone. The entirety of the genome is approximately 3 billion base pairs which encodes for all functional proteins and RNA molecules needed for life. Remarkably, only a small fraction of the genome actually constitute genes; about 15% of the genome are genes or gene related sequences, while 85% of the genome is noncoding (Krawczak and Schmidtke, 1994). Of the noncoding region there are specific regions that vary highly between individual people. These regions are polymorphic, or in other words have many different forms. Some loci vary so much that it is rare to find ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The amount each sequence is repeated varies between individuals and the specific nucleotide pattern can differ as well (Krawczak and Schmidtke, 1994). However, high quantities of DNA were needed to acquire accurate results when comparing VNTR regions. Therefore short tandem repeats (STRs), or microsatellites, proved to be better suited for use in forensic analysis. STRs are similar to VNTRs in that they are portions of the noncoding DNA that contain various amounts of repeated units. But in regards to VNTRs, STRs have a much shorter repetitive sequence, usually between 2 to 6 nucleotides, but sometimes can be up to 10 base pairs (Figure 1). The small size of STRs in comparison to VNTRs allows for more efficient amplification of the DNA via PCR and enables scientists to use DNA that has been more significantly degraded. Forensic analysts compare 13 different STR locations plus one that determines gender of the obtained sample (Roewer, 2013). STRs vary highly between individuals; for example, one person could have an STR at a specific locus encoding the following: CGCGCGCGCGCG, whereas another person could have CGCG at the same locus. In these tandemly repeated units, there is a higher extent for variation between these sequences than found in gene sequences due to the organism being more tolerant to aberrations in these portions of the genome. Therefore these areas will have many different forms, sometimes as many as 2000. Thus if several ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

An essential aspect of integrating special education students into public schools is the idea of Individualized Education Programs (IEP). The Emotions Of The Brain Impacted By Emotions An emotion is described as, a conscious mental reaction subjectively experienced as a strong feeling usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body (Merriam Webster, n.d.). Strong feelings of emotion, such as anger, love, fear, joy, hate, etc., impact parts of the brain, both positively and negatively, and how an individual learns. In regards to the parts of the brain impacted by emotions, the limbic system is made of six different parts. First, the almond shaped amygdala, is located in the medial temporal lobe, handles intense emotional responses, such as aggression or fear, and is very important in emotional learning. Secondly, is the hippocampus. The hippocampus also is located in the medial temporal lobe, is a structure where short term memories are formed and, plays a role in emotions and memory. The third part of the brain impacted by emotions is the pre frontal cortex that is located near the front of the head. It is involved in decision making in response to emotions. French colonial troops were the victims. Two days later another gas attack hit Canadian troops who had just entered the trenches. On both occasions the Germans inflicted thousands of casualties and penetrated enemy lines but failed to achieve the hoped for decisive results. File sharing has been an element of centralized server and multi client PC frameworks for a long time. With the appearance of the Internet, a document exchange framework called the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) has turn out to be broadly utilized. FTP can be utilized to get to (peruse and potentially keep in touch with) records shared among a specific arrangement of clients with a watchword to get entrance to documents shared from a FTP server site. Numerous FTP destinations offer open record sharing or possibly the capacity to view or duplicate documents by downloading them, utilizing an open watchword (which happens to be mysterious ). Most Web webpage designers use FTP to transfer new or changed Web documents to a Web server, and for sure the World Wide Web itself can be considered as extensive scale record partaking in which asked for pages or records are continually being downloaded or replicated down to the Web client. However, file sharing implies a system in which client keep in touch with and in additional read files or in which clients are dispensed some measures of space for individual records on a typical server, offering access to different client as they see fit. Dispatch was notified that a traffic stop would be conducted, projecting the 16500 block of W US 54. Ogden activated his lights and followed the vehicle until the vehicle pulled into a private drive at 15901 W US 54 and stopped. Ogden made contact with the driver and explained the reason for stop. Rain is a spontaneous thing and is not scheduled, planned and is not in our power. Nature has a mind of its own and for humans or the people in the war to have that power are supernatural which one cannot have that kind of power. Also, humans are not capable of controlling life itself. If that were to happen in this world, there would be chaos in power and no one would be able to die peacefully and obtain that beauty of dying a heroic death. Life cannot be controlled and some people see death as a beauty for it takes humanity to God. But in life, there are many things that have been with us but when we realize that it is gone, we are burdened with our own sadness. Ronald Oliver, a director said that Women don t know what they want. Men never know what they have. The rain in the novel alters the characters mind to remind them of what they do not have. The rain brings this quote into thought about what Henry sees and feels. You knew it rained down that rained...my sweet love Catherine down might rain... (Hemingway, 197). • 35. Screwtape Letter Essay In the Screwtape Letter, by C.S. Lewis, Srewtape insists that all pleasures are created by the Enemy, meaning God, and that demons have not figured out how to create them. It s an idea commonly seen in Christian theology. God brought all things into this world to be good, and those things can and have been corrupted by demons and the lot. What Screwtape is saying is that, God wants people to experience pleasure, and that it is a demon s job to corrupt a person s sense of that pleasure. Screwtape brings up the idea multiple times throughout his letters. He mentions it mainly with talking about love and corrupting Wormwood s human s idea of love. His focus on it seems to show some kind of fascination. Possibly that of envy. Not in the sense ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Surely if God created all pleasures, then all pleasures are good, and thus, sin cannot exist. However, each person possess free will, and with that free will, must choose a path that brings them to God. Therefore, without some temptations, free will would be rather pointless, as everyone would forcibly be in the grace of God. While that s a possibility, a much more likely reason is presented in the Screwtape Letters. Which is, once again, that demons corrupt that which God has already establish. Screwtape is constantly telling Wormwood how to use and abuse the free will which God has given humans, and even mentions at one point how easy it would be for God to just draw everyone to him, but how it would violate free will. So really, it is a combination of both free will and God punishing those who fall from his path and allow themselves to be controlled by demons. In conclusion, all pleasures were made by God. They were not intended to be sin, however, demons corrupted them into sin, to draw people into their domain. Humans, having free will, are freely influenced off the path to God into that sin, by demons. In Screwtape Letters, Screwtape frequently talks about using pleasures and exploiting free will for Wormwood to ensure he captures the soul of the human he s assigned ... Also, during weeks 0 4, the accumulation of toxins in each week seem to be decreasing bit by bit, but then at week five the accumulation increased a bit (12, 10, 9, 7, 8). Discussion Looking back at the data and results collected, in five weeks the great blue heron will die. The group has successfully modeled a simulation of what will happen to the great blue heron when biological magnification occurs. Based on graph 1.1, at week five there are 46 toxins in the bird. The salt marsh is an ecosystem that has many different organisms and species dwelling upon the surface. Of these organisms, they include sea lettuce, the Sheepshead Minnow, Fluke and the Great Blue Heron. These organisms interact with each other in the ecosystem. The sea lettuce is a producer, which gets eaten by the consumer, the minnows. Then, minnow is eaten by a secondary consumer, a fluke. Lastly, the Great blue Heron, as a top predator and tertiary consumer, eats the fluke. Through this process, toxins are transferred from trophic level to trophic level. An example of this is the BP oil spill, which released a large amount of toxins to the ocean, and animals can take in the toxins, causing large amounts of deaths. Each organism has a lethal threshold, or the amount of toxins an organism can have before death. The Great Blue Heron in this case has a lethal threshold of 44 toxins (EduChange, 2004). A lab has been done to model the biological magnification of toxins in an ecosystem with the Great Blue Heron. If a Great Blue Heron eats for five weeks, then the animal will die because the lethal threshold of 44 toxins has been passed and the toxins cannot be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The imagery helps readers to understand and imagine the complexities of the play. One particular piece of imagery that is evident throughout Macbeth is the picture of Macbeth himself. She explains that many people vote solely for the experience of being part of something. However, past studies show, if a voters experience involves standing in large lines for long periods of time, they are less likely to go through the hassle of voting in the future as a result. In addition, long lines can raise trust issues among voters. Badger agrees, stating surveys also show that people who wait longer to vote have less confidence that their votes are counted accurately (20). Overall, continuing to use DREs which have had many technical difficulties causing long lines may affect whether someone votes in the future, which possibly affects the outcomes of ...
