Cause And Effects Of The Flopped Crusades
The Flopped Crusade The Crusaders were created by Pope Innocent III in 1889. The Crusaders fought
against Christian blood, just to have more money. The Crusaders were not even in it for religious
purposes. The Crusaders failed to support enough troops, and made a decision to either stick with the
Christians, their own religion, or to ditch their religion and all of its beliefs. In the end, Alexius III, the
person who was going to give the Crusaders the money, did not have any and the Crusaders ended up
not getting any money, but sacking Constantinople. The fourth Crusade was one of the most
unsuccessful events in history. The Crusaders made lots of wrong choices. According to catholic.com,
They did not have the money to pay the Venetians and Dandolo s offer proved problematic, as Zara
was controlled by King Emeric of Hungary, who had previously taken the Cross; therefore, his lands
were protected by the Church, and attacking a Crusader s land resulted in excommunication
(Weidenkopf). The Crusaders chose to be excommunicated over being Christian with a debt they had
to pay off and were acting like peasants. They would take any deal they saw and thought that the
dealers would not scam or rip them off. They were little pawns for the dealer to mess with. They were
not even given the money in the end. The Crusaders were just manipulated the Crusaders to do the
dirty work for Dandolo. Another wrong choice they made was disobeying the letters from the pope.

abortion annually (Negedu, 2011). pregnancies are either mistimed or unwanted among adolescents.
Studies in the past have Indicated that, lack of adequate sexual and reproductive health knowledge
may possibly represent a key factor preventing the complete elimination of unwanted pregnancies, and
unsafe induced abortion among adolescent girls in Nigeria. According to Ipas(2005) unplanned
pregnancies are the result of various factors, including lack of knowledge about menstruation and
pregnancy, lack of access to, and knowledge about how to use contraceptives; difficulties in using
contraceptives because of a partner s or family objections; contraceptive failure; and sexual assault.
Also, adolescents may more often delay seeking care for abortion related complications due to lack of
transportation, lack of knowledge about where post abortion care can be obtained, fears of censure
from their parents and health care providers, fear of legal repercussions, or lack of money to pay for
services (Ipas, 2005). This may be particularly so in rural communities where access to basic in
frastructural facilities remain low and inadequate
1.2 RESEARCH QUESTIONS
The guiding research questions for this study include the following:What is the knowledge level of
adolescent girls about reproductive health issues generally?
What is their level of awareness concerning the existence of family planning services?
Is there a link between the knowledge level of adolescent girls about

Being A Bad Kid Research Paper
Being a very well known kid living in Round Rock Texas, life was pretty nice. I didn t think I would
move until i graduated high school. Both of my brothers had been through elementary, middle and
high school so my family was pretty well known in the town. I loved all the attention being known by
a lot of people and all the coaches. I had a feeling high school would be a breeze having so many
friends and knowing all the people i needed to know.
Living in Texas for 10 years of my life made me feel like I was set. I had been through elementary
being the bad kid . I didn t really think much of that reputation but I had to live with it, at least i now
knew that nobody would try to mess with me. I was set for the rest of my school years as a teen.
Until i woke up to the worst morning ever. I rolled out of my bed literally, and i fell on my side not

We moved here for the final four weeks of summer to play football. It wasn t too bad but i wasn t
really making friends like normal, and things were going a little slow. I did not like it and wanted to
move again but I had to push through and face the music. I ended up having a great football camp and
made a good amount of friends. I went through all of freshman year with a smile on my face meeting
new friends, hanging out with new people and having a ton of fun.
Things changed a ton for me. I had to make a new friends, plus I was new to the town and everyone

Essay for Movie Roger and Me
Summer Bajwa 211510526 Corporate America Socio economic Downfall Date: October 30, 2012
Roger and me is an eye opening stance of dark part of Capitalism. Michael Moore s documentary is a
courageous attempt to unfold the damages, caused by Capitalistic mentality of the time laying off
30,000 auto workers in an American city, Flint for the sheer purpose of profit. Moore s presentation

A majority Government passed the bill of free trade with US and later with Mexico, which called
NAFTA. To change public opinion about the ferocious act of Free Trade, the Government justified it
with statistical data of increasing trade (Policy and Partisanship). Hundreds and thousands of big
companies left Canada and set up in states or Mexico. It was big economic fiasco in those years. The
Government imposed GST to recover the losses because of NAFTA. Unemployment rate in Most of
the provinces increased to the alarming level. In Flint, a city of auto plants faced major economic and
social upheavals. Due to this shift by GM to Mexico, thirty thousand workers got unemployed. It
caused Flint s crime rate skyrockets, with use of weapons and murders. Crime becomes so common
that when a TV channel tries to do a live story on the plant closings, someone steals the network s van
(along with the cables), abruptly stopping the broadcast. Living in Flint becomes so desperate that it is
commonly called Flint as the worst place to live in America. In terms of jobs within a country,
supreme executive authority gets a mandate from the citizens of the state, not from the corporations.
Corporations, especially Corporate America, have usually nothing to do with the livelihood of the
work force to gain economic power. It is much more interested in the stockholder s profit margin.

Autobots Attempts To Stop Decepticons
The movie Transformers is about Autobots trying to stop Decepticons. Autobots and Decepticons are
forms of Transformers that have been fighting for years. Scenes from the movie are spectacular.
Certain scenes from the movie are very great such as when Optimus fights the T Rex, when Cade
Yeager finds Optimus Prime and gets his house raided by Special Agent Savoy, and when the Autobots
ended the battle with the Decepticons. Autobots are normally the good transformers and Decepticons
are usually the bad guys.
From the time Cade Yeager finds Optimus Prime, Cade knew Optimus was a transformer. At the time
the U.S government had award money for anyone who spotted or found a transformer. The
government was giving award because the Transformers had previously started a war on U.S soil and
the government now wanted them gone. So Cade insisted to his friend Lucas to not tell anyone about
Optimus being hidden in his warehouse. So the next couple days past and Optimus and Cade grew to
kind of know each other. As Cade s daughter was just getting home, a swarm of police vehicles and
helicopters emerged on to Cade Yeager s property. The man in charge (SA Savoy) wanted to know
where Optimus was and Cade was insisting that Optimus was not here. SA Savoy was destined to
figure out the truth. To get the truth, he resulted to drastic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Religious Persecution Essay
We need to get rid of the iron age idea that people have a constitutional guarantee protecting their
religion. This irrational nonsense ignores the fact that religion can, and often does, lead to the deaths
of many innocents. Not surprising, nonbelievers always tend to get the worst of any kind of so called
religious persecution . Sort of makes you wonder why its even called religious persecution and not
atheist persecution.
Before this nonsense found its way to the first amendment of the constitution. It was Lord Baltimore
of the Catholic church, who came up with the idea of a guaranteed right to worship, therefore
protecting the Catholic church in Maryland. Why? Not because there were atheists disrespecting or
killing the religious, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Seeing how religion certainly has proven to be the best at hate and divisive hate speech, it religion
certainly deserves to be on the top of the hate list. This is demonstrated by history and proven in every
day news. Ever hear of an atheist suicide bomber with total disregard for the lives of woman and
children?
We need to eliminate the guaranteed constitutional right to believe in dangerous ideas found
specifically in religion. By doing so, we would be able to criticize religion when it steps out of line, in
the SAME exact way that every other idea on earth is open to criticism. This would be a good step to
stopping the spread of nonsense.
Think how well it would have worked out if every news paper in the world printed the Danish artists
critical rendering of the prophet Muhammad, instead of cowering in fear and capitulating. Because we
cowered and allowed them to silence us, we empowered Islamic terrorists and what ever other
religious group to cry foul when offended. They now know, not only are we are afraid to offend or
criticize them, but that we will give in and guarantee their terror and intimidation in our country and

My synopsis amongst three containers of waters Tap Water, Dasani®, and Fiji®, tap water has
unknown chemicals due to pollutions and oil spills. Dasani and Fiji is a company based product
should be purified from contamination. Dasani would probably have a small percentage of pollution
due to the inexpensiveness cost, and Fiji would display no contamination as to the expensiveness cost
of the product. I believe that the cost plays a significant part in companies product for purified bottled
water. I hypothesize that once all the waters tested, the tap water will turn out to be the most
contaminated out of Dasani®, and Fiji®, while the Dasani will have lowest levels of contaminants, in
addition, Fiji will have no levels of contamination leaving it to be the cleanest.

through mosquitos. Most people recover, and severe illness or deaths from the virus are rare. The Zika
virus is especially dangerous for pregnant women and their babies, and is thought to be spread around
Central and South America to which pregnant women have been advised to not travel, because of
results in sickness, and fatal birth defects in newborn babies. However many things are being done to

not the case. The Zika virus has been linked to rare brain defects in newborn babies, and has women in

Zika virus is the greatest in pregnant women as it is suspected to be linked with the incomplete brain
development in babies known as microcephaly. It is also suspected to have caused some cases of
Guillain Barre syndrome (Biesiada 1). The Zika virus for a normal adult is a mild disease, with the list

Choosing A Career Field Is One Of Life s Most Important...
Choosing a career field is one of life s most important and difficult decisions. But knowing what your
expectations are and then comparing them to the realities will help you make educated decisions.
Change is an unstoppable process and the fastest change in today s world is in the field of business.
Businesses have to be prepared to adopt any change that takes place. That s why I choose business
Management/Law as my career field because my family already own businesses like hotels and
convenience stores. The main reason I choose this as my career field is because there are a lots of
great opportunities available for people with business management/law degrees. Creating and running
a successful business has always been a challenge where only the strong can survive and in the world
of modern business with new advance technology managers or owners need good knowledge to top
hard training with serious set of skills. My parents always told me as successful business owners that
to be successful in running your own business you need to have more than just talent. You must have
access to ocean full of resources which will help you in making your business successful in the long
run. For that you need the proper training and knowledge that will help you select the right place of
resources whether it is your career, job, or business you own. This can be achieved by having a degree

Essay About Toda
FUNERAL
Todas believe in life after death and believe that the soul is immortal. They have a grand funeral
ceremony. They cremate the dead bodies. The todas believed that the buffalo s spirit would be a
companion to the dead person and the dead person could live as he lived on earth and therefore used to
sacrifice buffaloes. However, this cruel practice has been disregarded by the Government in 1964.
There are two types of funeral ceremonies which is the Green and Dry disposals of the dead. Green
disposal is done when an adult dies and after a few months is followed by dry disposal for a group of
dead people. For a man the rituals are done by his son or brother but for a woman it is done by her

Australian Consumer Law Essay
Introduction
There was a major change for Australian Consumer Law. Within this paper, the differences on the old
and the new system will be discussed further.
Australian Consumer Law is a single national law, which is, applies in all jurisdictions, to all business
and to all industry sectors. The ACL also represents a new approach to considering consumer policy
issues, with the Australian Government and the States and Territories working closely together to

guarantees modernise and clarify the operations of the law on consumer rights in relation to goods and

Lay by agreements, on this ACL there is a rules that cover the basic elements of lay by agreement

Behavioral Aspects of Project Management
Behavioral Aspects of Project Management
Project management is much more than creating a work breakdown structure and tracking a plan. The
hardest part for many is the personal side of project management. In this paper, we will explore how
the organizational culture of a company and basic human behavior influence the success or failure of
projects. In conducting this exploration, we will envision ourselves in the following scenario, and
address the issues presented.

The higher the saboteur scores on the power meter the greater the chance that the project will fail, but
no matter what the case a good project manager finds a way to get things done.
Does project leadership play a role? Leadership also plays a part in managing successful projects. On
the rare occasions when projects run relatively smoothly, the project manager need only manage the
process. However, projects seldom proceed down the WBS path as originally planned. Project
managers often have to deviate from what was originally planned and introduce changes in the project
scope and schedule to respond to unforeseen threats or opportunities. These changes often require the
project manager to do more than simply manage, they require him to step in and lead. That leadership
usually involves recognizing and articulating the need to significantly alter the direction and operation
of the project. It also means aligning people to the new direction and motivating them to work
together to overcome hurdles produced by the change in order to realize the new objectives.
Does this role change under duress? In a situation like the scenario we are discussing, leadership
skills, combined with a more assertive use of the standard interpersonal project management skills,
would need to be put into play. There is an immediate need to gain the trust of the project team
members. They need to feel that they can trust that the new

The Argentinian Economic Crisis ( 2001-2002 )
The Argentinian Economic Crisis (2001 2002)
INTRODUTION
In what is considered as one of the worst crisis for a nation, Argentina has suffered significantly over
the years and was caught yet again by a financial crisis in 2001. Over the short period of 1998 to 2001,
the Argentine economy has lost almost 20 percent of its GDP (Figure 1) while the poverty has risen to
an astonishing 42.3% percent (2001) from an already high figure of 18.2% in 1998 (Weisbrot and
Sandoval).

This financial crisis was not a sudden event; in fact this crisis has its roots dug deep into the long
history of a turbulent Argentine economy. In terms of growth, in the early twentieth centaury,
Argentina could boast of outperforming most Latin American nations. More over, as The Economist
reports, by 1913 Argentina was among the world s ten richest countries, ahead of even France and
Germany, with an annual average growth of 5% every year over the previous three decades. However,
after the First World War, the Argentine economy faced a steep decline and by 1989 the country s

Characteristics Of Veristic Surrealism
Surrealism As the world began healing from World War I, modern artists decided to listen to their
subconscious minds. Surrealism was a new style of art that formed from Dadaism. The leader of
surrealism, André Breton, believed that because surrealism required unique thoughts, it showed an
active mind. Not only is surrealism found in art, it is also found in theater, literature, philosophy, and
politics. The creation of surrealism is achieved by abstract or realistic images that may be bursting
with voice or cold and impersonal. Bending the principles of design to give new feelings could create
this feeling. After World War I, European artists explored their unconscious minds to create
compositions that challenged common beliefs of artistic and emotional expression. Surrealism can be
difficult to categorize due to the differences in styles and methods of creation. The two main
surrealism techniques, automatism and veristic surrealism, are shown by various views of the
conscious and unconscious. The focus of automatism is feelings. The emphasis of theses artists is less
analytical. They think of their art as a way to connect the subconscious to the conscious. This usually
results in a lack of form. Veristic surrealism is a way to link spiritual realities to the material world.
They used objects as metaphors to show inner reality and to understand the real world. Dadaism was
the style that later morphed into surrealism. It was a coping mechanism after World War I. The Dada

Complications of Diabetic Ketoacidosis
Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) is a serious disease with complications that may have fatal results in
some cases. DKA is defined as an insulin deficiency that occurs when glucose fails to enter insulin
into muscles such as: liver and adipose tissue. When there is an accumulation of ketones, it leads to
metabolic acidosis which causes nausea and vomiting, as a result fluid and electrolytes are lost
(Gibbs). There are many complications of diabetic ketoacidosis, some of the most prevalent are:
Cerebral Edema, Hypoglycemia, and Acute Pancreatitis. Cerebral Edema is a rare but fatal
complication of diabetic ketoacidosis. To thoroughly describe the clinical signs of cerebral edema is

Acute Pancreatitis can be a precipitation factor for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). One example of a
case study was with a 74 year old female with a 32 year history of type 1 diabetes who presented
DKA. Although she had no abdominal pain or tenderness, her amylase and lipase levels were elevated
and peaked at values of 1,024 unites/1 (normal range 17 100 unites/1) and 3,455 units/1 (normal range
53 unites/1), The enzymes declined precipitously to normal with rehydration and insulin
administration. Calcium was 11.7 mg/dl (805 10.5) and parathyroid hormone was 232 pg/ml (10 65).
It was felt that hypercalcemia, due to primary hyperparathyroidism, caused acute pancreatitis
precipitating DKA (Rizvi). Elevated lipase and amylase levels cause breakdown of local adipose
tissue. The time of increased amylase and lipase occurs 16 25% of the time in DKA. Some reports
show that nonspecific elevations of amylase in DKA. Increased serum lipase is also assumed to
indicate actual pancreatic involvement. (Rizvi) Diagnosis of acute pancreatitis rests on the presence of
abdominal pain and associated increases of amylase and lipas (Rizvi). Proinsulin is a vaccine
significant to insulin production. In a study, researchers injected 80 people who has had type 1 for up
to five years with a loop of DNA containing

Ignorance In Flowers For Algernon By Charlie Gordon
All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure. Mark Twain.
Sometimes ignorance is bliss. People on occasion, are happier being ignorant. In the novel Flowers
For Algernon, the main character Charlie Gordon, seems happier being dumb or ignorant. However,
people disagree with the fact that ignorance can sometimes be better and stand with the opinion that
knowledge is always beneficial. In reality, ignorance can sometimes be helpful to people.
In actuality, ignorance is quite advantageous. For example, little kids believe Santa Claus is real and
are ignorant to the fact that their parents are buying them presents, until their parents tell them.
Another example includes kids in other countries. Take for example kids in South Africa. Kids in
South Africa will most likely never have an Iphone 7, fancy expensive clothes, or have even basic
privileges, such as going to school or having a hot shower. Although these kids will never experience
experiences that kids in America have, they are still content with what they have, because they are
ignorant to the fact that superior conditions exist. An additional example is Frederick Douglass, an
American slave. He learned to read, write and spell and envied his fellow slaves for their ignorance,
after learning his tragic fate about being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ignorance can be effective in the long run. For example, a parent who is quite strict and does not know

their window is also ignorance being blissful. A final example is a dog that loves the park and is told
that he is going to the park (but is ignorant to the fact he is going to the vet), might be blissful. All of
these examples are proof that not having knowledge, can be quite

Though the human body and brain combination, does posses an innate learning and instinctual
understanding, there is also a predominate component of almost undetectable, innate teaching
(Sorensen, 2016) and learning necessary from the very beginning of life. A toddler, who has been read

Teacher assessments are paramount in allowing the teacher to find out what the student requires for
their individual process of learning. Literacy levels need to be diligently assessed, recorded and acted
upon repeatedly. Just as you teach to the individual, so too must your assessment be flexible
(University of Wisconsin Green Bay, n.d.), particularly in the early learning years. Whether using a
running record an informal reading inventory, reading logs in a portfolio or a rubric, (University of
Wisconsin Green Bay, n.d.), the scaffolded learning components, of the emergent learning stages are
the quintessential requirements necessary for the learning journey towards becoming a fluent
compressive reader, therefore it is important no child falls behind. In later middle Primary Schooling
year levels, as the children progress, the children are introduced to more formal structures of
assessment so as to become accustomed to a uniformed style of assessment. Such assessments may
differ depending on if the school follows State or Federal curriculum structures, however the most
structured is the NAPLAN (Australian Curriculum and Assessment Reporting Authority, 2016)

Mérode Altarpiece Essay
The Mérode Altarpiece by the Master of Flémalle is an oil painting on 3 wooden panels whose
specific date of creation is likely between 1425 and 1430. This hinged triptych is relatively small in
size measuring slightly over 2 feet tall and about 4 feet wide with its two winged panels open. The
Mérode Altarpiece belongs to a group of paintings associated with a Tournai workshop led by Robert
Campin, also known as the Master of Flémalle, whose workshop fostered some of the earliest and
most outstanding painters who were pioneers of the new Flemish style. The Mérode Altarpiece s
central and largest panel depicts the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary to
announce her pregnancy with Jesus. The right panel portrays Joseph in a workshop setting while the
left panel shows an image of the donors kneeling in a closed garden. Artwork of this type was made

Through this he is able bring out God s divine and frequent presence, presenting it not in a highly
spiritual surrounding but instead in a setting of bourgeois realism. The Master of Flémalle is known
for his poetic representation of objects in daily life which is exemplified in the Mérode altarpiece,
specifically in the central panel portraying the Annunciation. The Master of Flémalle used these types
of scenes to represent how God s power and presence, symbolized in the painting by Mary s virginity
and purity, God s ability to assume human form, Jesus s crucifixion, and God s trap for the devil,
exists in the seemingly hidden symbols that are present in everyday life. This kind of thinking grew
out of the influences of early Northern Renaissance ideals which stressed art and humanistic values
and marked the transition from the prevailing international gothic

The Age Of Enlightenment By Voltaire
1. Do some research on Voltaire and his beliefs as well as the era in which he wrote, which was the
Age of Enlightenment. Be sure to cite your sources of information.
The Age of Enlightenment occurred from the 1620s until the 1780s. This movement began in England,
and steadily spread almost worldwide before long. The term Enlightenment was used to contrast the
Dark Ages, a time in which innovation and free thinking was at an all time low. Voltaire s French
philosophy included free thinking and the struggle for defense of civil liberties, in which he uses
almost every known literary form, including novels, poetry, and performance art such as plays. His
intellectual skepticism of traditional beliefs and dogmas denotes an illumined contrast to the supposed
dark and superstitious character of the Middle Ages.

Voltaire uses irony and satire in many different situations during the story. A prime example of these
literary forms can be found in the form of religion, for example when the Catholic Inquisitor speaks

In Joyce Carol Oates Where are you going, where have you been, family influence is shown to be a
key factor in the molding of a child s character, who they are. Connie, the protagonist of Oates short

was led straight into the arms of Arnold, because her family belittled her, caused her dual personality

First of all, Connie s parents played no role in improving her self image. Connie s mother, having aged
out of her prime, was jealous of her daughter s beauty, criticizing her whenever the opportunity
presented itself. Connie s mother would yell at her younger daughter, Stop gawking at yourself, who

Sedgwick And Walden Materialism Analysis
The books Walden and other Writings by Henry David Thoreau and Hope Leslie or, Early Times in the
Massachusetts by Catharine Maria Sedgwick both have many overlapping themes. This paper is going
to focus on their shared opinions about materialism. Both Sedgwick and Thoreau condemn living for
materials, insisting that there are better, more worthy things in life. These are the higher things since
both authors agree that there are things morally higher than materials. Catharine Maria Sedgwick
views materialism as a sin. Every time material items are brought up it is a manipulative or not so
good situation; ie: a character is in trouble. Clearly this shows that Sedgwick doesn t believe in living
for material items or the way they are perceived in society. She shows that items can t buy one love,
happiness, or change who one is. In Hope Leslie Sedgwick says, Tell her, Magawisca, if she will come
home with me, she shall be decked in jewels from head to foot; she shall have feathers from the most
beautiful birds that wing the air, and flowers that never fade: tell her that all I possess shall be hers.
(240; Par. 2) Hope is enticing Mary with objects of English society. It could be said that Hope was
trying to buy her love back with these jewels. Mary is entranced by these materials because she has
grown up in a different world. Even though the Puritans are against the coveting of materials, because
of England s influence, there is still evidence of materialism in their society as Sedgwick shows. Hope
is hoping that Mary s greed will bring her back, one can see this from the way she promises all her
possessions to her. Sedgwick illustrates materialism in this quote, Inborn royalty of the soul , that even
the ugly envelop of a blanket did not conceal. (190; Par. 2) This shows how Sedgwick s view of
materialism agrees with Thoreau s. Even in perceived ugly clothing, her true personality shines
through. This is an example of what Thoreau says about clothing not being able to change who one is.
Material items control one s perception in society, but they can not change they way one is on their
own. Whether he or she is a shoe peddler or a high class politician, he or she will get judged for their

Penny Lab Essay
In this lab we will be heating up substances and use them to galvanize pennies. When you heat up the
zinc, and then coat the penny in it, it then galvanizes the penny. Meaning, it helps protect the penny
from oxygen and water. Afterwards, you will need to record data such as the mass of the penny. This
helps keep track of what physical traits are being changed during this experiment. On part B of this
experiment, you will be heating up the now galvanized pennies in order to see what reaction you get.
The reaction you should receive from heating up the now zinc covered pennies is that the pennies will
change color.
In metallic bonding, the reason it is so good at conducting heat and electricity, is the electrons are
loosely held in the atom. Also, the structural pattern of metals is hexagonal close packing (Francis, E .

that. The idea of the electrons being able to move, delocalized electrons, helps produce its
characteristics like conductivity and malleability, etc. (Anderson . . .). In a redox reaction, oxidation

Elite Athletes
Should Elite Athletes Be Role Models For Children? The idea that when growing up as a child, we
lose some illusion in order to obtain new ones tie in with the understanding that children s minds are
not matured enough to adequately understand the meaning of a true role model. Children do not
understand that athletes are performers and are paid to be performers because that is their job.
Professional athletes are not paid to be a role model hence, they are not obligated to live up to the
expectations that exceeds beyond performing on the field. According to the National Academy of
Science, National Academy of Engineering, and Institution of Medicine (1997), a role model is

In order to truly understand the reasons, children must have the knowledge and the representation of
knowledge about the subject. But ultimately, children must be able to show the formal manipulation of
symbols representing a collection of believed propositions to produce a representation of new ones
(Brachman, Levesque, Pagnucco, 2004, p.4). This will allow children to effectively reason beyond the
athlete s athletic skills, abilities, and competencies on the playing field. As a of effective reasoning
children will be able to define their role models as by morality, honor, citizenship, generativity,
meritocratic personality traits, self actualization, and interpersonal qualities (Guest Cox, 2009).
Connecting with my view that children cannot interact with athletes on a daily basis and form
meaningful relationships creates a barrier preventing children from justifying why athletes should be
role models. In order for children to agree that athletes can be role models, they would have to be
around them on a daily basic and form a reputable relationship. And since athletes do not form
reputable relationships with fans because it is not obligated as part of the athlete s profession, it leaves
athletes unqualified to be role models. So athletes are poor choices of role models for children because
there are many favorable qualified individuals who can have more direct impact on the character of
children and can interact and form meaningful relationships with the children. Therefore, elite athletes
should focus on just being athletes, and children should just focus on being fans. This supports my
teleological view of the greatest happiness and greater good for the greater

Organisational Change Management: A Critical Review

ABSTRACT It can be argued that the successful management of change is crucial to any organisation
in order to survive and succeed in the present highly competitive and continuously evolving business
environment. However, theories and approaches to change management currently available to
academics and practitioners are often contradictory, mostly lacking empirical evidence and supported

Secondly, there is a consensus that change, being triggered by internal or external factors, comes in all
shapes, forms and sizes (Balogun and Hope Hailey, 2004; Burnes, 2004; Carnall, 2003; Kotter, 1996;
Luecke, 2003), and, therefore, affects all organisations in all industries. While there is an ever growing
generic literature emphasising the importance of change and suggesting ways to approach it, very little
empirical evidence has been provided in support of the different theories and approaches suggested
(Guimaraes and Armstrong, 1998). The purpose of this article is, therefore, to provide a critical review
of theories and approaches currently available in a bid to encourage further research into the nature of
organisational change with the aim of constructing a new and pragmatic framework for the
management of it. In order to do so the article has adopted Senior s (2002) three categories of change
as a structure with which to link other main theories and approaches. These three categories have been
identified as change characterised by the rate of occurrence, by how it comes about, and by scale.

and Women Forced onto Children Disney princesses such as Cinderella, Ariel, and Jasmine, and
princes such as Prince Charming, Prince Eric, and Aladdin have become household names throughout
the years, especially to children in early childhood to adolescence and even some older. Through
watching these movies, children are beginning at an early age to picture what men and women should

these princesses and princes, and how the stories and movies affect children and even adults today.
According to Commonsense Media, starting at age three, it is acceptable for little girls and boys to

view on what is masculinity and femininity and where do they fit into that mold. (Halim, Ruble and

when they grow up. The Middle Childhood, according to Sigmund Freud, is when a child is in the age

The folk genre has origins all the way back to the 19th century, which in many ways is mirrored by
many popular genres in modern musical genres. To make it easy folk music is merely, ballads and
songs which are composed and conveyed vocally, without being written. Though what we distinguish
folk today as stylistically very different to what folk was during the 19th century, at its basic form, it
still holds the same standards and concepts, describing the simpler times. Through vigorous research,

One major reason folk was special in the African American culture is because it s a likeness of the
southern region s culture, history and social structure at the instruction level and of the confidences,

Welsh and Scotch Irish blended rapidly and effortlessly in the same process by which these groups
mixed demographically and socially to form the essential culture. The music of northern European
groups such as the French and Germans modified justly into the folk custom. It is seeming that some
musical forms such as polkas from eastern Europe, the music of the Hindu, Arabic and Greek settlers,
practiced the same affiliation to the musical essential that the groups themselves practiced with regard
to the essential culture; a assortment more or less of choice.
The African tradition, however, is a exclusive and isolated case and the association between black and
white musical forms, predominantly in the South, reflects southern race relations. The South today,

Teachers must be careful not to even share Bible readings with students as this is declared
unconstitutional by state and district courts (Abington School District v. Schempp,1963). The sharing
of Bible readings even without teacher comment may violate the students First and Fourteenth
Amendment Rights (Essex,2012). Teachers must therefore follow the guidelines of the Lemon Test
that stipulates the fact that teachers must only teach courses that are offered in the public schools using
materials that they are designated to use in public schools and agree not to teach courses in religion
(Lemon v. Kurtzman and Early v. Dicenso, 1971).
Students, however may read the bible during non instructional times (Essex, 2012). In a Cypress

The Relation Between Premarital Cohabitation And Divorce...
The Relation Between Premarital Cohabitation and Divorce Rates
Shalene Gerritsen
University of Nebraska
Introduction to Sociological Research
November 18, 2014
Many couples find themselves cohabiting today because it is cheaper and more convenient while
others take it as a step forward in their committed relationships. Regardless of reason cohabiting has
become a union of choice. In recent years cohabitation has transformed from an act of deviance to a
norm in many societies. We will be focusing on how time and social change determines cohabitation
and divorce.
LITERATURE REVIEW There have been many conflicting studies on whether there is a clear
relation between premarital cohabitation and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Waal (2008) predicts that there will be 2.93m cohabiting couples by 2021 (p. 47). This would be a
90% increase in the past 25 years. Cohabiting couples have become more common due to the increase
in social acceptance. An article in the New York Times (2012) contributes the increase to the sexual
revolution and the availability of birth control.
Theory and Research Question The relation between cohabitation and divorce rates can also be
explained through the use of Deviance. Deviance is a theory in which a society views an action as
unacceptable (William and Thorton 2014). Cohabitation has transferred from being deviant to a social
norm in past years. Those who cohabit are no longer a minority. For this reason the Deviance Theory
is a possible explanation as to why there has been a shift in the relation between premarital
cohabitation and divorce rates. We question the relation between premarital cohabitation and divorce.
From looking at literature regarding this question I hypothesize that time and social change determines
cohabitation and divorce.
Methods. The qualitative method proposed for gathering data is a longitudinal cohort study.
Participants in the study include couples who have been married in the year 2015. The participants
will include 20 couples from each of the 50 states. 10 of the couples will have cohabited prior to
marriage

The Leadership Of A Global Society

Prototype Leaders within Diversity

Leadership in a Global Society
Fall 2015
Culture was and always going to be alive, it never dies. However, today is different, culture is
spreading rapidly, and it became vital to acknowledge at least the basics of each culture. Due to
multiplicity of cultures within societies, not any leader could lead a group of followers, but only
prototype leaders who are needed to lead diverse organizations nowadays. Leadership becomes
difficult; it requires awareness of one s culture and skills to navigate within several cultures.
Immigrants migrates every day to a new country, marketing is becoming internationally advertised,
technology, media, all of these aspects changed the way life used to be seen. Today, it is
unprofessional for leaders to not acknowledge a little background of their followers, or at least to be
aware of what is their basic values. Therefore, for leaders to be successful in maintaining a good
relation with their followers in today s diverse society and in reaching success for their companies, I
believe that they must be characterized by five major qualities. Farsighted, collaborative, inspirational,
humble and respectful are the prototype qualities whom leaders must be portrayed as in a diverse
society.
Surely one of the common goals between leaders is success. And success cannot be reached in the
absence of Leaders farsightedness and wisdom. Regardless of how

Essay about A Biography of Josephine Baker
A Biography of Josephine Baker
Josephine Baker was born Freda Josephine MacDonald in St. Louis, Missouri to her unwed parents:
Carrie McDonald and Eddie Carson. Her father soon left the family and Josephine had to help her
mother support herself and her three younger half siblings. At age eight, she got a job working as a
maid for a white family (Robinson). At age 12, she had dropped out of school to work. By age 14, she
had moved out, been married, and separated from her first husband. She would later go onto marry
and divorce three more men. Never was she financially dependent on any man, including her
husbands.
Her stage career began in 1919 in the United States when she toured with The Jones Family Band and

In 1936, Josephine attempted a return to the United States to star in the Ziegfield Follies. Due to the
still prevalent racism in the United States, she was greeted with negative reviews. Americans were not
yet ready to embrace a black woman as sophisticated and powerful, despite her success in Europe
(About).
Just a few years later, World War II spread across Europe. Josephine helped out France in every way
she could: performing for troops, being an honorable correspondent for the French Resistance
(smuggling secret messages), and serving as a sub lieutenant in the Women s Auxiliary Air Force
(About). For her efforts, she was later awarded the Medal of the Resistance with Rosette and dubbed a
Chevalier of the Legion of Honor by the French government.
In the 50s and 60s, Josephine returned to the United States to help fight racism. She refused to
perform in any club or theatre that was not integrated (Lewis). This resulted in the breaking of the
color bar in many establishments, especially in Las Vegas. May 20 was named Josephine Baker day
by the NAACP for her efforts. Part of her fight against racism came in the form of the Rainbow Tribe.
She adopted 12 children to demonstrate that children of different ethnicities and religions could still be
brothers (About). The children would sometimes

The Ict And Its Impact On Education
1. Introduction
The ICT subjects was introduced in secondary schools early 2000 s with poor methodologies. It was
that time I was in secondary schools so I saw and even experienced how the mode of computer skills
delivery was. The word computer itself was a bit knew to most students thou I was very good in
mathematics. Shortage of instructors and teaching tools was a big issue. Most young generation fails
to express themselves in terms of their future vision because they are blind to the rapid innovations in
computer technology. We are coming from different background with different family economic
levels. Not all of the young people are aware of this computerized system of the world. Not all are
privileged with computerized cellular ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe that the gap/problems lies at the middle (secondary) schools whereby the introduction of IT
could reveal the vision and ability of most youth. Its more than ten (10) year of introduction of
secondary IT knowledge, I expect to see some positive changes. Learning ICT is a process of growing
awareness on various realities of life, thus lack of this skills problems won t be evaluated. The
ongoing invasion of outsider s technologies gives me warning alarm that the indoor capability is still
low.
Monitoring and Evaluation of every project is a key way to development; the ICT to secondary
schools need a special M E section to ensure that there is positive progress annually. I know that
computer programming is mathematics based in one way or another, and the big number of secondary
students do no like mathematics. This should be tackled with sharp stick lest the mind set and
capability of students lowers down. Indicator for ICT development in Tanzania will be openly to all
teachers so as to improve their efforts.
With a lot of ICT knowledge and skills, what changes can we say that this program is bringing to our
upcoming generation? Several field like engineering, medicine, finances and social science needs a lot
of ICT skills. Does this syllabus real brings change? What are the factor hindering big results? If we
have big results, how can we improve it? What are the indicators for ICT development in Tanzania.

Essay about A Review of the Opening Sequence of Pretty Woman
A Review of the Opening Sequence of Pretty Woman
Pretty Woman is a romantic comedy, which is based on the stories of Cinderella, the Prince and the
Pauper and My fair lady. The film was produced in 1990 and directed by Garry Marshall. It is set in
the Hollywood hills and the rough Hollywood Boulevard. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts play the two
main characters, Vivien Ward and Edward Lewis. Edward is a wealthy man who is respected and
admired by others. Whereas Vivien is a lot poorer. Her only way of earning money is by her job as a
prostitute in Hollywood Boulevard.
In the film the music is very important. At the beginning it is set at a party. It is Edward s party so it is
very posh and classy. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are also wearing lots of expensive jewellery like gold necklaces, bracelets, rings etc. Just by
looking at the people at the party you can tell straight away that they have lots of money and can
afford to buy expensive clothes and jewellery for parties.
When you first see Edward he is upstairs in his office away from the party. The walls in his office are
just plain white with not a lot of decoration and he is wearing a plain grey suit which is quite dull and
lifeless this is a signifier that he is a businessman and that he doesn t like to wear bright colourful
clothes and that he prefers to stay wearing neutral colours.
In contrast the first time we see Vivien we can see straight away that she lives a completely different
lifestyle to Edward. The first part we see of her that we see is her underwear when she is just waking
up. We don t see her face until the next shot of her when she is getting out of bed. When she gets up
she puts on some jewellery but it looks very cheap and tacky, this contrasts which the type of
jewellery the people at Edward s party were wearing. Once Vivien is out of bed we see what sort of
clothes she wears at night when she is out on the Hollywood Boulevard. She puts on an all in one
outfit which is a white top which is very short and very tight on her. It is attached to

The Epic Hero Story Of The Epic Of Gilgamesh
The epic hero story of Gilgamesh is one of the biggest epics know around the world. It is said to be
the oldest epic story in the world. They were written on 12 stone tablets in a Akkadian language,
Approximately two thirds of this longer, twelve tablet version have been recovered. Gilgamesh is
fearless but he does have some weak moments; Throughout the story the gods and goddesses affect
Gilgamesh and Enkidu a lot. Gilgamesh was a king in Uruk in Babylonia and lived about 2700 B.C.E.
He was one third man and two thirds god. Gilgamesh has a friend named Enkidu who follows him on
the journey. With Enkidu Gilgamesh faced a lot of adversity and it allowed him to change for the
better.
To understand the Epic of Gilgamesh you would first have to understand what it means to be an epic
hero. An epic hero is a when the hero perseveres through all the obstacles and overcome their fears.
They show devotion, loyalty, love of glory, justice, and weakness. All of these things made up
Gilgamesh, there are certain obstacles that needed to be overcame in order for him to grow as a hero
and see where he actually stands. Gilgamesh begins to show his fearlessness when he starts his
kingship the people of the city were terrified so the gods told Aruru to make somebody that would
stand up to him. he takes and does whatever he feels like. Aruru makes Enkidu, he lives in the
wilderness with the creatures and animals. Gilgamesh has had two separate dreams about Enkidu and

Polycephalum Essay
Physarum Polycephalum is a slime mold that has a yellow coloring to it and it resides in areas of
shade, cool temperatures and moisture. Not only does this slime mold have the name Physarum
Polycephalum, but it is also referred to as Polycephalum as suggested by (Jabr, 2012). P.
Polycephalum is a multicellular microbe that feeds fungal spores and other microbes because the
organisms are heterotrophic (Sauer, 1986). P. Polycephalum is very interesting because it has traits of
both fungi and animals, which I find very interesting. It has this ability to move around where it is
located to find food by engulfing and surrounding it, and it does this by going through enzyme
secretion. Although we know a lot about this organism, for many years it was mistaken as fungi due to
the fact that it was thought to be heterotrophic but through further analysis it was removed from that
category because they realized that fungi is not as mobile as this organism. P. Polycephalum doesn t
have a cell wall but fungi have cell walls made of chitin, which lead to the line being drawn between
these two organisms (Ashworth and Dee, 1975).
The most ideal habitat for P. Polycephalum is a moist and shady region but not only is it suitable for P.
Polycephalum but its also suitable for bacteria, archea and protists that it feeds on (Jabr, 2012). When
it engulfs its food, it grows with the help of Phagocytosis and then it becomes a mass of multinucleate
protoplasm, which then has a bright yellow color,

The Satyricon Compare And Contrast
Both the writing and movie of The Satyricon shocked viewers and still do, however there are several
occurrences in both that are not seen in the other. To start, both the reading and the video start
similarly, but the video version adds more to the story. The movie adds to the plot by having Asciltos
sell Giton to an actor named Vernacchio. In the writing Encolpius simply finds Asciltos and Giton.
The reasoning for this addition is unknown, but when making a movie the director needs to keep
viewers interested. By adding a twist to the plot the viewer gets a similar but different story. Another
addition to the plot, seen in the movie, is the fight between Fortunata and her husband. He attacks her
and throws food at her during dinner in

Argumentative Essay On School Shootings
Schools are no longer a safer environment for teenagers and children in today s society. Every year,
many young lives are taken away due to school shootings. School shootings are widespread issue that
seek attention because of their dramatic and frighten nature. These shootings results teenagers who
have been harassed or bullied into depression come back with the guns to get revenge. However,
School shootings are becoming more and more of an everyday incident around the world. School
shooting is an event that is committed by a student with gun violence at a school campus or other
institutions. This is becoming a very common and a serious issue around the world, especially in the
United States school violence rates are extremely high ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before the shooting, Kinkel was taken under the special health care system. The Federal Health
services estimates that at least six million children in this country have some serious emotional
disturbance and, for some of them, right and wrong take second seat to the voices in their heads
(Aaron/Rupetto 329). Unfortunately, two thirds of these children are not getting any treatment as some
of their insurance plan does not have full coverage on them. Another occurrence took place on
Febuary 27th, 2012 at Chardon High School, Ohio where a seventeen year old teenager named T.J
Lane opened fire in the cafeteria in the school and seriously killed two students. He was sent for the
mental illness exam which concludes that he experienced Migrane headaches and was suffering from
Psychosis (out of reality) but the motive of shooting remains unclear. Even about his mental health,
the court and the people assume that he is faking the mental illness. The Judge announced that if Lane
has mental issues then he will not be competent otherwise they will move his case to the adult court.
Bullying and Media Violence is a serious and widespread problem that can lead to school shootings.
Bullying is probably the most frequently occurring form of violence in American schools today and it
s really the engine that s driving the majority of violence (Niolon). For example, On April 20th, 1999,
Eric Harrison and Dylan Klebold of Columbine High School

  • 2. Cause And Effects Of The Flopped Crusades The Flopped Crusade The Crusaders were created by Pope Innocent III in 1889. The Crusaders fought against Christian blood, just to have more money. The Crusaders were not even in it for religious purposes. The Crusaders failed to support enough troops, and made a decision to either stick with the Christians, their own religion, or to ditch their religion and all of its beliefs. In the end, Alexius III, the person who was going to give the Crusaders the money, did not have any and the Crusaders ended up not getting any money, but sacking Constantinople. The fourth Crusade was one of the most unsuccessful events in history. The Crusaders made lots of wrong choices. According to catholic.com, They did not have the money to pay the Venetians and Dandolo s offer proved problematic, as Zara was controlled by King Emeric of Hungary, who had previously taken the Cross; therefore, his lands were protected by the Church, and attacking a Crusader s land resulted in excommunication (Weidenkopf). The Crusaders chose to be excommunicated over being Christian with a debt they had to pay off and were acting like peasants. They would take any deal they saw and thought that the dealers would not scam or rip them off. They were little pawns for the dealer to mess with. They were not even given the money in the end. The Crusaders were just manipulated the Crusaders to do the dirty work for Dandolo. Another wrong choice they made was disobeying the letters from the pope. According to ... • 3. Pregnancy And Its Effects On Children abortion annually (Negedu, 2011). pregnancies are either mistimed or unwanted among adolescents. Studies in the past have Indicated that, lack of adequate sexual and reproductive health knowledge may possibly represent a key factor preventing the complete elimination of unwanted pregnancies, and unsafe induced abortion among adolescent girls in Nigeria. • 17. Characteristics Of Veristic Surrealism Surrealism As the world began healing from World War I, modern artists decided to listen to their subconscious minds. Surrealism was a new style of art that formed from Dadaism. The leader of surrealism, André Breton, believed that because surrealism required unique thoughts, it showed an active mind. Not only is surrealism found in art, it is also found in theater, literature, philosophy, and politics. The creation of surrealism is achieved by abstract or realistic images that may be bursting with voice or cold and impersonal. Bending the principles of design to give new feelings could create this feeling. After World War I, European artists explored their unconscious minds to create compositions that challenged common beliefs of artistic and emotional expression. Surrealism can be difficult to categorize due to the differences in styles and methods of creation. The two main surrealism techniques, automatism and veristic surrealism, are shown by various views of the conscious and unconscious. The focus of automatism is feelings. The emphasis of theses artists is less analytical. They think of their art as a way to connect the subconscious to the conscious. This usually results in a lack of form. Veristic surrealism is a way to link spiritual realities to the material world. They used objects as metaphors to show inner reality and to understand the real world. • 24. The Age Of Enlightenment By Voltaire 1. Do some research on Voltaire and his beliefs as well as the era in which he wrote, which was the Age of Enlightenment. Be sure to cite your sources of information. The Age of Enlightenment occurred from the 1620s until the 1780s. This movement began in England, and steadily spread almost worldwide before long. The term Enlightenment was used to contrast the Dark Ages, a time in which innovation and free thinking was at an all time low. Voltaire s French philosophy included free thinking and the struggle for defense of civil liberties, in which he uses almost every known literary form, including novels, poetry, and performance art such as plays. His intellectual skepticism of traditional beliefs and dogmas denotes an illumined contrast to the supposed dark and superstitious character of the Middle Ages. http://www.pbs.org/faithandreason/gengloss/enlight body.html 2. In Joyce Carol Oates Where are you going, where have you been, family influence is shown to be a key factor in the molding of a child s character, who they are. Connie, the protagonist of Oates short story, missed out on this key due to lack in positive family influence. Connie, insecure and vulnerable, was led straight into the arms of Arnold, because her family belittled her, caused her dual personality and omitted proper guidance. • 27. Sedgwick And Walden Materialism Analysis The books Walden and other Writings by Henry David Thoreau and Hope Leslie or, Early Times in the Massachusetts by Catharine Maria Sedgwick both have many overlapping themes. This paper is going to focus on their shared opinions about materialism. Both Sedgwick and Thoreau condemn living for materials, insisting that there are better, more worthy things in life. These are the higher things since both authors agree that there are things morally higher than materials. Catharine Maria Sedgwick views materialism as a sin. Every time material items are brought up it is a manipulative or not so good situation; ie: a character is in trouble. Clearly this shows that Sedgwick doesn t believe in living for material items or the way they are perceived in society. She shows that items can t buy one love, happiness, or change who one is. In Hope Leslie Sedgwick says, Tell her, Magawisca, if she will come home with me, she shall be decked in jewels from head to foot; she shall have feathers from the most beautiful birds that wing the air, and flowers that never fade: tell her that all I possess shall be hers. (240; Par. 2) Hope is enticing Mary with objects of English society. It could be said that Hope was trying to buy her love back with these jewels. Mary is entranced by these materials because she has grown up in a different world. Even though the Puritans are against the coveting of materials, because of England s influence, there is still evidence of materialism in their society as Sedgwick shows. Hope is hoping that Mary s greed will bring her back, one can see this from the way she promises all her possessions to her. Sedgwick illustrates materialism in this quote, Inborn royalty of the soul , that even the ugly envelop of a blanket did not conceal. (190; Par. 2) This shows how Sedgwick s view of materialism agrees with Thoreau s. Even in perceived ugly clothing, her true personality shines through. This is an example of what Thoreau says about clothing not being able to change who one is. Material items control one s perception in society, but they can not change they way one is on their own. • 30. Elite Athletes Should Elite Athletes Be Role Models For Children? The idea that when growing up as a child, we lose some illusion in order to obtain new ones tie in with the understanding that children s minds are not matured enough to adequately understand the meaning of a true role model. Children do not understand that athletes are performers and are paid to be performers because that is their job. Professional athletes are not paid to be a role model hence, they are not obligated to live up to the expectations that exceeds beyond performing on the field. According to the National Academy of Science, National Academy of Engineering, and Institution of Medicine (1997), a role model is someone who takes a special interest in helping another person develop ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In order to truly understand the reasons, children must have the knowledge and the representation of knowledge about the subject. But ultimately, children must be able to show the formal manipulation of symbols representing a collection of believed propositions to produce a representation of new ones (Brachman, Levesque, Pagnucco, 2004, p.4). This will allow children to effectively reason beyond the athlete s athletic skills, abilities, and competencies on the playing field. As a of effective reasoning children will be able to define their role models as by morality, honor, citizenship, generativity, meritocratic personality traits, self actualization, and interpersonal qualities (Guest Cox, 2009). Connecting with my view that children cannot interact with athletes on a daily basis and form meaningful relationships creates a barrier preventing children from justifying why athletes should be role models. In order for children to agree that athletes can be role models, they would have to be around them on a daily basic and form a reputable relationship. And since athletes do not form reputable relationships with fans because it is not obligated as part of the athlete s profession, it leaves athletes unqualified to be role models. So athletes are poor choices of role models for children because there are many favorable qualified individuals who can have more direct impact on the character of children and can interact and form meaningful relationships with the children. Therefore, elite athletes should focus on just being athletes, and children should just focus on being fans. The walls in his office are just plain white with not a lot of decoration and he is wearing a plain grey suit which is quite dull and lifeless this is a signifier that he is a businessman and that he doesn t like to wear bright colourful clothes and that he prefers to stay wearing neutral colours. The first part we see of her that we see is her underwear when she is just waking up. We don t see her face until the next shot of her when she is getting out of bed. • 44. Polycephalum Essay Physarum Polycephalum is a slime mold that has a yellow coloring to it and it resides in areas of shade, cool temperatures and moisture. Not only does this slime mold have the name Physarum Polycephalum, but it is also referred to as Polycephalum as suggested by (Jabr, 2012). P. Polycephalum is a multicellular microbe that feeds fungal spores and other microbes because the organisms are heterotrophic (Sauer, 1986). P. Polycephalum is very interesting because it has traits of both fungi and animals, which I find very interesting. It has this ability to move around where it is located to find food by engulfing and surrounding it, and it does this by going through enzyme secretion. Although we know a lot about this organism, for many years it was mistaken as fungi due to the fact that it was thought to be heterotrophic but through further analysis it was removed from that category because they realized that fungi is not as mobile as this organism. P. Polycephalum doesn t have a cell wall but fungi have cell walls made of chitin, which lead to the line being drawn between these two organisms (Ashworth and Dee, 1975). The most ideal habitat for P. Polycephalum is a moist and shady region but not only is it suitable for P. Polycephalum but its also suitable for bacteria, archea and protists that it feeds on (Jabr, 2012). When it engulfs its food, it grows with the help of Phagocytosis and then it becomes a mass of multinucleate protoplasm, which then has a bright yellow color, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To start, both the reading and the video start similarly, but the video version adds more to the story. The movie adds to the plot by having Asciltos sell Giton to an actor named Vernacchio. In the writing Encolpius simply finds Asciltos and Giton. The reasoning for this addition is unknown, but when making a movie the director needs to keep viewers interested. By adding a twist to the plot the viewer gets a similar but different story. Another addition to the plot, seen in the movie, is the fight between Fortunata and her husband.
