Someone Write My Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Someone Write My Essay" presents a unique set of challenges
that may not be immediately apparent. The very nature of the topic introduces a paradoxical
dilemma where the writer is both the protagonist seeking assistance and the narrator tasked with
expressing the difficulty of this quest.
Firstly, the inherent irony of composing an essay on a plea for someone else to write it is
perplexing. The writer must delicately balance a tone that conveys the desperation for help while
maintaining a sense of coherence and structure within the essay itself. This requires navigating
through a linguistic maze where the boundaries between the self as the author and the self as the
subject become blurred.
Furthermore, the challenge lies in articulating the struggle and frustration of being in a position
where one feels compelled to seek external assistance for the very act of self-expression. It
demands a level of introspection and vulnerability that may be uncomfortable to delve into, as
the essayist grapples with the admission of needing help in the first place.
The essay must navigate the fine line between self-deprecation and earnestness. It's a delicate
dance, ensuring that the plea for assistance is genuine while avoiding the pitfall of sounding like
a mere ploy for sympathy or an excuse for a lack of effort.
In conclusion, tackling the task of writing an essay on the topic of "Someone Write My Essay"
requires a careful navigation of irony, introspection, and vulnerability. The writer must skillfully
weave through the paradoxical nature of the request, all while maintaining a coherent and
engaging narrative. It is an intricate process that demands both self-awareness and a deft
command of language.
For those seeking relief from such challenges, similar essays and a myriad of other writing tasks
can be conveniently ordered on HelpWriting.net, where professional assistance is readily
available to transform the complexities of expression into eloquent prose.

Designing A Sales Subsidiary Structure
In the organizational context, I recommend Winch It to adopt Sales subsidiary
structure . I judged that it was the most appropriate stages to dive in among the four
stages of internationalization considering the company s situation and attitude. In the
staffing context, I recommend Winch It to take the ethnocentric approach in the
staffing context and the balance sheet approach in international compensation.
Finally, in international performance management, I listed several issues need to be
concerned and suggested adopt not TCN role conception but PCN role conception .
Introduction The main object of this portfolio is to provide the board with useful
advice for Winch It to develop an international business. Since they are uncertain of
what type of organizational structure they would build for international operations
and what country to expand, I reflected the board s demand and explanation of the
company s current situation mostly than other variables to compose my
recommendations. The organizational context I would like to recommend Winch It to
adopt Sales subsidiary structure . Typically, initial stage for manufacturing firms
entering international operations is exporting. Therefore, theoretically the optimal
organizational structure for Winch it which has no experience of in establishing any
form of oversea operation is Export department structure . However, I would like to
take a more realistic approach than this. The board is confident that Winch It
The History of Urticaria Essay
The history of urticaria is a fascinating account of mankind gradually growing to
understand human diseases. The process starts with the many different names this
disease has been given to in the past. The school of Hippocrates in 4th century BC
recognized urticaria with nettles. The roman school instead focused on its burning
sensation and is where Plinius named it uredo. In the 10th century, Hali Ben Abbas
used the name essera because it means mountain or elevation, alluding that the welt is
above skin level. In 18th century, Zelder called it urticatio, and in 1792, urticariawas
the accepted name. A couple of words have been made during recent times but they
did not clearly distinguish the disease from the other skin diseases. Some... Show

Doctors can diagnose the disease by just looking at it. First they will look at your
skin and will be able to tell if it is hives because it is easy to depict. The physical
symptoms looks like raised oddly shaped welts in areas of the skin that can go as
small as a few millimeters to the size of plate. They can also look pale white or
pink in the middle with redness around the welts. Hives have no specific shape;
they can look like blotches or even lines. They will than ask you if you have a
history of being sensitive or allergic to anything such as: foods, medicines, plants,
animals, insect bites or stings, and exposure to heat, cold, or sunshine. It is easy to
identify foods, plants, or drugs that may have caused you to break out in hives
because those reactions usually happen within minutes to hours. Other causes such
as emotional stress or multiple allergies may take more time and it makes it harder
to diagnose the cause. If acute hives is left untreated, they will continue to have
welts going on and off around their body up to 6 weeks. Chronic hives last longer
and tend to become an annoyance with the itchiness or with how it looks on the skin.
It does not need to be treated unless it gets very itchy or if your tongue and throat
starts to swell up. Find help immediately if you start having trouble breathing from
welts being formed on your tongue or inside your throat. There are different methods
for treating hives. There

Ben Jonson Research Paper
Ben Jonson is a poet, who, although not widely known, he is still known as one of
the poets associated with William Shakespeare. He did star in a play (Every Man in
His Humour) with William Shakespeare, which made him an instant celebrity.
Conversely, he did have countless dilemmas with the police, which did influence his
writing greatly. Ben Jonsons life began in London on June 11, 1572. His father died
before he was born, but his mother remarried. Jonson went to school at
Westminster School. before joining his stepfather in the bricklaying trade.
Bricklaying did not suit Jonson so, as an outcome, he went to the army and soon
joined a theater company run by Philip Henslowe and was arrested for acting in a
seditious satire called The Isle of Dogs. In 1598 Jonson killed an actor named Gabriel
Spencer in a duel, and he was arrested and tried at the Old Bailey on a charge of
murder. He escaped being hanged only by claiming benefit of clergy and was
imprisoned as an alternative punishment. It was after his release from prison that Ben
Jonson s first play was performed at the Globe... Show more content on

To read it well that is, to understand means that all who read his poems should
interpret it the correct way and not misunderstand what he means for another
possible meaning. One of the things about this poem is that although it is fairly
short, it is remarkably deep and carries a meaning that is acutely clear to the reader:
my poems are not to be trifled with, so take care when reading them. Another
interesting aspect of this poem is that the whole two lines of it rhymes. This presents
the fact that even though this poem is short and conveys a meaning deeply to the

Lesson Learned
To me, this semester has gone by pretty fast and during this semester, I learned so
much in this course in a short period of time. I learned how to study different
methods of writing and writing in different purposes. I also learned different things
just by having online discussions and most importantly, I learned how to improve my
writing skills and how this course changed my perception of English and apply it in
the future. I have gained so much knowledge about writing in this class and it made
a great impact on my skills. These lessons I have learned in this class has been very
beneficial and I will carry these lessons in the future.
The first essay we did in this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Narrative essay tells a story or experience about my own personal experience to
send an important message to the audience. I also learned that narrative essay does
not have to tell a story but also to tell what I learned from that particular
experience. The second essay we did in this course is cause and effect and the
topic I chose was the major cause of school shootings. Before writing about this
topic, I learned that organizing my essay will help me a lot to completing my
essay. After picking a topic, I learned that it is important to research about my topic
because I have little knowledge about school shootings. I started by making a list
of possible effects related to the cause to help me with my topic. I then analyze the
effects on the list I made and pick three that can have a strong argument to my topic
and made this as my main points of my essay. By doing this, it will help me
breakdown my topic. The most importing thing I learned when researching in
many different sources is to include references and sources on my paper. This is
very important because I want the reader to know that I am giving credit to the
original source. I also learned major formatting styles where I learned how to
properly cite sources in different styles like APA and MLA formats. I used MLA
format for my citations because it was the easiest one to understand. The third essay
we did in this class was argumentation and the topic I chose was
The Abortion Debate Essay
The topic of abortion is one of the most controversial topics affecting our society. The
disagreement between for and against abortion has caused hundreds of fights that
have even resulted in death. Regardless of what many individuals may accept, fetus
removal is not right or off. It is a matter of individual assessment. Consequently, each
one side can say with assurance that alternate isn t right.
Accordingly the inquiry remains; should premature birth be lawful? Though many
people may disagree on this fact that only legalized abortion is the only way woman s
still have their right. One just needs to investigate American history to see the effects
of denying premature births to ladies. The viciousness which happens today because

They started to dissent fetus removal as unfeeling, obtuse, and lethal. Loaded with
another feeling of reason and the brilliance of a crisp, exemplary reason to maintain
this new ethics cleared the field concealing everybody afterward. Abortionists who
were once venerated and hinged on were currently hated and undermined. In spite
of the fact that premature births still happened with normality, they were kept
noiseless and seen as a matter of disgrace. Over the next hundred years, public
sentiment for the fetus continued to rise until the inevitable happened in America
during the early 40 s; Abortion was made illegal. (Cohen 17). There was such a
large number of back applauding and congrats around the against fetus removal.
They had succeeded in sparing the lives of the several pure unborn children who
might have been foolishly butchered for the accommodation of narrow minded,
insensible, and untrustworthy ladies. In light of this new law, ladies might settle
down and raise families or give these delightful youngsters over under the control of
the many cherishing couples who were simply sitting tight for a child to call their
own. It appeared that the ideal law had barely been passed. On the other hand had it?
It has been demonstrated time and time again all around history that the human soul
won t permit restriction. Something inside us feels the necessity
Honey Bee Disappearing
A Bee line Towards Extinction The worker bee, the most common type of honey
bee and the one most people encounter, is an insect who surprisingly keeps the world
afloat. Bees provide food, renewable resources, and pollination for the ecosystem for
over a hundred million years. However, these hard workers are disappearing for
reasons outside of standard instances. Scientists call this predicament Colony
Collapse Disorder, or CCD for short, and it is affecting all life on Earth. For example,
since 2006, bee keepers lost over 30% of their colony. The only acceptable loss was
15%. In 2015, bee keepers lost 44% of their honey bees through CCD. More and
more loses are occurring this year and millions of beehives have been lost since 2006.
Many... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An example of this is foulbrood, a bacteria that kills the brood and produces spores
that must be burned to improve chances of colony survival. Another example of
this is Nosema, a illness that infects the intestinal tracts when waste cannot be
removed during winter. There are some measures a beekeeper can take to prevent
this calamity. However, some are debatable, such as providing nutrient lacking
sugar water and burning hives, causing issues either way. Climate change is
another factor that is affecting bees. Due to how temperatures are rising, the cycle
of bees collecting pollen and flowers blooming are not synchronized, leading to
both organisms not receiving what they need. Both the plants and the insects have
relied on each other for millions of years and to have it suddenly change might
endanger all life on earth. Speaking of sudden change, it is important to remember
that bees are also under stress, which is caused by these changes. Between all of
these factors combined, bees can t sustain themselves, leading to beekeepers to order
more bees. This causes even more stress due to moving, which in turn increases the
risk of death and disease. Thus, the endless cycle continues until there are no bees
How I Will Structure My Lesson
Discussion 2 On how I will structure my lesson will be based on the student s
maturity and how familiar they are with the material. If the class as a whole has
behavior issues such as a lot of talking, not focusing on the task at had. I will be
more apt to use Teacher centered lessons. This allows me to control classroom
management and know where the progress of the class is. If the class is capable of
less supervision than I would use a Student centered lesson approach. Another aspect
that would determine what approach I would use on how I would structure my
lessons would be how new the material is to the students. I think it would be
unproductive to give the students the lead and have them problem solve a topic that
they never heard of. Now if these students have been introduced to this content
earlier in the year or in another class prior to this one. Then it would be appropriate
for them to self teach or research on their own. If I was using Teacher centered
instruction I would more apt to use whole groups instruction. This allows me to
efficiently lecture, pass on information and content. If I had a class where I decided
to use student centered instruction I would use small group instruction. Student
center instruction is meant for the student to be more engaged in problem solving and
research. According to Burden and Byrd (2013), small groups enable students to be
more actively engaged in learning , the more the student is participating in gathering

The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald
F. Scott Fitzgerald showcases characters illusions in the novel The Great Gatsby.
Each of the characters gets wrapped up in the dream that they all wanted to live. The
Great Gatsby is a novel about the American dream and the illusion is that one can be
happy through wealth, power or fame. Gatsby, Myrtle, and George all had an illusion
thinking they can live the american dream.
Fitzgerald shows many illusions in the Great Gatsby. Throughout the novel Gatsby
always wanted to be wealthy, thinking that being wealthy brings happiness. After
Gatsby dies, Nick finds out from Henry Gatz how Gatsby wrote schedules and
resolves for the illusion Gatsby wanted to live. Henry says, Look here, this is a book
he had when he was a boy (181). Fitzgerald explains how Gatsby made up a schedule
for the activities Gatsby wanted to do everyday in a correct order and time. Next,
Gatsby live through an illusion Gatsby tries to show to Daisy how rich he is and
hoping that she will approve and be impressed by his lifestyle. Gatsby was giving
Daisy a tour of the house, Gatsby shows Daisy his silk and sheer linen. Daisy begins
to cry and says, It makes me sad because I ve never seen suchВsuch beautiful shirts
before. Fitzgerald shows us readers how Gatsby does so much to impress Daisy,
even buy expensive shirts made from London. After, Gatsby tries even more to
impress Daisy. Daisy is at the window looking at the pink and golden billow of foamy
clouds. Daisy calls Gatsby to look at the clouds with
The Corruptness Of The Judicial System
Crime is when somebody breaks the rules or laws and, if they re caught, getting
punished to the full extent. The basic foundation of crime has been around forever
but as time went by a small leak in the system was created and remains to this day.
That leak is the social injustice of wealthy people getting off easier with crimeand it
is time we start putting firm laws in place to stop this global corruptness. There have
been multiple recent accounts of people committing crimes and getting away with it
because they are wealthy and although the corruptness of the judicial system is very
obvious in modern society people still choose to turn the other cheek. Although there
are countless examples of wealthy people getting away with crime i have chosen 3
recent examples to explain and elaborate on.
The first recent example of this social injustice is the story of oj simpson. In 1994
Oj simpson was accused of the murders of his ex girlfriend and ex girlfriend s
current boyfriend. Although there was multiple pieces of evidence proving that he
did in fact commit these murders he was let off the hook with no punishments all
because of his wealth and popularity. This trail was a very important piece of
evidence in showing the corruptness of judicial system because it was so widely
broadcasted and investigated and yet people still ... Show more content on

judge learned that he was a well known actor and comedian. Yet again nobody paid
any mind to his charges getting lessened because he was wealthy. This is yet another
good piece of evidence showing the social injustice of wealthy people getting away
with crime because it shows that it s something that affects people all over the

Due to human and natural activities, the monarchs population has been declining for

areas. People in Delaware are working hard to save an American icon.
The monarch butterfly travels long distances to get to their nesting grounds. The
monarch s migration takes a total of 3000 miles. Their nesting grounds is located in

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
And Then There Were None, is an intriguing murder mystery novel that follows the
lines of a poem called Ten Little Indians . The story is intricately written to keep the
reader in absolute suspense from the beginning to end.
The novel involves eight people being mysteriously invited to spend a summer
holiday on Indian Island . Among the eight are a judge (Justice John Wargrave),
doctor (Edward James Armstrong), military general (General John Macarthur), former
inspector/current private detective (William Blore), mercenary (Phillip Lombard),

The first murder occurs when Marston dies from poisoned whiskey. The next

Along with their deaths, two of the dolls disappear from the dinner table. Based on
the two deaths and the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murders, the
remainder of the guest decide to leave the island on the supply ship due to arrive the
next morning. However, the ship never arrives, nor does their host. It is later
discovered that the host instructed the local costal residents not to answer any
distress calls from the island as the guests would be playing a game. The remaining
guests are killed off, one by one, until there are none. Each death is somehow related
to the story line of the poem, along with the fact that a doll disappears with each of
the murders.
In the end, the murders are subsequently investigated by two police officers. From all
the facts, journals and a message from Wargrave that is found in a bottle, they
determine that Wargrave and Armstrong carried out the murders. Wargrave s body is
never found.
I feel that the most prevalent topic in the novel is the idea of Evil and Injustice. All
of the people that are invited to the island are persons guilty of committing murders
and never being

George Balanchine came to the United States in 1933, following an early career
throughout Europe. He studied piano from a young age and graduated from the
Imperial Ballet School in St. Petersburg, where he first studied dance from the age of
nine. He then enrolled in Russia s Conservatory of Music and studied pianoand
musical theory, as well as musical theory, composition, harmony and counterpoint.
He graduated after three years in 1924. His extensive training made it possible for
him to work with composers held in high regard, such as Igor Stravinsky.
Balanchine garnered attention for staging a production of the Stravinsky ballet, Le
Chant de Rossignol. He was one of four dancers who had left the Soviet Union for a

they created the School of American Ballet. Balanchine first choreographed work was
Serenade, performed to the music of Tchaikovsky, was created as a workshop for
students, but also as a production that premiered in New York. In 1935, Kirstein and
Balance set up a touring company of dancers from the school and named it the
American Ballet. Later that year, the Metropolitan Opera invited the American Ballet
to become its resident ballet, with Balanchine as the ballet master. Even though the
program was very successful, Balanchine left the Met in 1938 to teach at the School
of American Ballet and work in musical theater and film. In 1941, he and Kirstein
established the American Ballet Caravan and toured South America with Balanchine
s new works, Concerto Barocco and Ballet Imperial. Then in 1944, became the
artistic director of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, where he created Raymonda and
La Sonnambula. In 1946, he and Kirstein collaborated once again to create the Ballet
Society, which performed such Balanchine works as The Four Temperaments,

Disadvantages Of Software Development Life Cycle
Part B (1.1) Introduction A software development process, also known as a
software development life cycle (SDLC) can be explained as a structure, imposed
on the development of a software product. The software development life cycle
(SDLC) is an umbrella term for the overall process of developing, implementing, and
retiring information systems through a multiple step process from initiation, training,
documentation , design, analysis, maintenance, and consulting. Software
development life cycle (SDLC) can be termed as a process of bringing ideas to reality
in the creation of a software product with in the software industry. Types of Software

It might take a while for a system to be built that allows ease of use and needs
minimal training for the end user.
3. Spiral Model. As a result of these weaknesses of the waterfall model, the spiral
model was developed which emphasizes iterations of the phases with each phase

demonstrating a proof of concept early in development. This model is similar to the
incremental model, but with more emphasis placed on risk analysis. A software
project repeatedly passes through these phases in iterations (called spirals in this
model). The baseline spiral, starting in the planning phase, requirements are gathered
and risk is assessed. Each subsequent spirals builds on the baseline spiral.
Planning Phase The project is reviewed and a decision is made whether to continue

Violence In Leadership
Did you know that violence accounts for more than 1.6 million deaths every year?
Violence has been around us our whole lives and is something that will never come
to a stop. Violence will continue through the rest of our lives and the lives to come
in the future if someone doesn t step up and try to take a stand. Society s leading
problem is violence and can only be helped through the kind of leadership that
demonstrates Trust and Integrity, Confidence, and a good communication. First,
trust and integrity are one of my three most important qualities that every leader
needs to have if they are gonna try to stop violence within our society. Trust and
integrity is a key quality on how we can try to stop the problem of violence in our
society. Talking about integrity, Oprah Winfrey said: Real integrity is doing the
right, knowing that nobody s going to know whether you did it or not. What she
said kinda ties into to trust as well because everyone is gonna know that you re
going to do it and do well. Trust and Integrity would be important for a leader to stop
the violence because it shows a sense of trust and shows that the leader will do the
right thing. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Confidence is very important because when you make decisions and you aren t
confident about them. Then your followers are gonna realize that you have no clue
what you are doing and they won t trust you. Henry David Thoreau once said Public
opinion is a weak tyrant compared with our own private opinion. What man thinks of
himself, that is which determines, or rather indicates, his fate. What he is trying to
say is that, if you don t have enough confidence in yourself then you will not
Pride In J. D. Salinger s Franny And Zooey
In J.D Salinger s Franny and Zooey, the theme of pride is heavily explored and is
essential to the personality and development of the main characters. This is done
through recounting the experiences of members of the Glass family, a household of
intellectuals who never seem to be satisfied with their present state of being. A
former star on the radio show It s a Wise Child , the eldest sibling, Seymour, who
committed suicide later in his lifetime, felt it his duty to act as a religious guide to his
younger siblings and instills in them the values of Buddhism a factor which later
contributed to much dissatisfaction amongst his younger brother and sister.
Moreover, Salinger stresses the excessive pride of Franny, who views her
contemporaries as inferior, and the resultant detriment of such a temperament. Zooey
s egotistic nature is likewise explored, along with the negative impact of his
disillusionment with his education and those around him. When she is first

Also like Franny, he feels badly about himself for doing so. Zooey, moreover, averts
any blame as to why he turned out the way he did onto his brothers and the education
he received from them. His abhorrence of his brothers manifests itself to such an
extent that, says Zooey, he could murder them both without even batting an eyelash.
Zooey complains that his preachness and borderdom a result of the way in which he
was raised by his brothers prevents him from even sitting down and maintaining a
conversation with others. Likewise, he is discontent with the fact that he was a
celebrity as a child an additional factor on which he blames his persona. As is evident
from his conversation with his mother, the impact of being Wise Children prevented
him from conversing with others and, by extension, interacting properly in
Ap Euro Dbq Renaissance
The Renaissance was a cultural movement in the 14th to 17th centuries during which
European artists, scientists, and scholars, were inspired by classical achievements of
the Greeks and Romans. Many scholars believe that the Renaissance was a separate
period of time from the Middle Ages, however, some still believe that the Renaissance
was just a continuation of the Middle Ages. The Renaissance is a distinct period of
time due to the revival of education, scientific discovery and humanism. The revival
of education greatly contributed to the distinctness of the Renaissance. The level of

Humanism was the study of Greek and Roman language and literature to educate
one s self and improve one s reasoning. During the Middle Ages the church was
looked upon as the absolute power, and many felt as if it was the end all be all in
terms of God and salvation. Because of its high status, not many people questioned
the Church. However, this all changed during the Renaissance. As discussed in
document 5, the church basically only existed for money. They did this by selling
indulgences and collecting money from the wealthy. People saw the corruption
within the church and many were not happy. Martin Luther, a German monk and
religious reformer, is thought to have started the Protestant Reformation. One of
Luther s boldest acts against the Church was translating the Bible into German. He
did this so people did not have to rely on the Church s interpretation of the Bible.
This meant people could listen to God s word and form their own opinions,
something not previously possible during the Middle Ages. Document 2 provides a
clear view to the difference of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Jacob
Burchhardt compared the distinctness of the Renaissance to how Greeks were
distinct from barbarians. The Humanism Reformation clearly separates the
Renaissance and the Middle Ages, as does the revival of learning and scientific
Persuasive Essay On How To Build A Fire
Have you ever went camping with friends or family and admired the welcoming
campfires that were built? Roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, or just sitting
and absorbing the nature around you are just a few of the many enjoyable activities
that can be done with a bonfire! However, what may look like a simple set up might
be more complex than one would assume. In fact, there are several steps a person
should follow when constructing a campfire. Practicing these instructions can not
only lead to a more successful, thriving bonfire, but can also guide you to becoming
more safe and aware. When my dad taught me how to build a fire, it was an overall
bonding experience. He was patient with me through the many failed attempts and
constantly reminded me that safety was the most important factor. The skills that
I learned from him will continue to come in handy any time my friends or family
want to gather around a campfire. The first step that is pretty essential in building
a campfire, that several people may overlook, is finding a suitable, safe place to
have one. If there is a fire ring that is already present, then even better. Try to look
for an open space away from buildings or other things that are easily flammable.
Ask yourself a few questions before you start: Are campfires allowed in this area?
Are the weather conditions up to par? (It shouldn t be too windy or rainy.) Is the site
properly prepared? Lastly, do you have fire safety equipment? Such as a fire

Irish Potato Research Paper
The History of the Potato
During spring break, I made Irish potato pancakes with my sister. I was inspired to
make this after we played the industrial revolution game and heard about the Irish
potato famine. Also, being March, it was the perfect time to make something Irish.
While making this recipe I learned how to use potatoes to make something more than
boiled or mashed potatoes. I also learned more about the history of potatoes.
The potato was first cultivated in South America. Spanish conquistadors first
encountered the potato when they arrived in Peru in 1532 in search of gold and
gradually began to use potatoes as basic rations aboard their ships. After the arrival of
the potato in Spain, potatoes slowly spread to other European countries
Public Life Characterize American Culture
How does the discourse of public life characterize American culture? To understand
the discourse of public life, it is necessary to contextualize the aspects of American
culture regarding the concerned citizen, politics, and religion, since those ideas are at
the heart of American In secular societies, thousands of citizens find themselves
disengaged from the discourse of public life through activism in their communities.
However, those concerned citizens that participate experience the idea of the heroic
enterprise because their actions are not seen as the routine fulfillment of the duties of
citizenship (Bellah 2008: 181), but as a preservation of self interest. These individuals
are concerned about the threats to their communities and... Show more content on

Ultimately, it is the struggle between individualism and the public good, and with
the current state of political affairs, our individualistic self interests triumph the
idea of public good. For example, as a society we recognize the need to individuals
rights. However, we have a difficult time when groups of people claim their rights.
The political culture of individualism functions within the framework of invisible
complexities, and, as a result, discourages people from engaging in political
actions. Within individualistic view of politics, the sources of conflicts are
difficult to trace. The politics of interest are disconnected from the sources if
interests, meaning there is no transparency. Likewise, if we can t comprehend
these complexities, whom do we turn to for explanations? As Bellah argues,
experts are there to guide us through those invisible complexities. For example,
how can we, as a collective group of people, reclaim government? There are three
primary ways to reclaim government, however, to achieve desired goals; people
need to participate in the sphere of collective action. As a society, we need to accept
professional socialization of calling and reject the premises of professional
aspirations for success, power, and status. What gives professionals the key is that the
expertise they provide is their calling to serve the public, which is why we need to
reform professionals to serve all interests. In the United States, social movements
have quite an interesting influence over the dominant two party systems. Both parties
preach and serve their self interests, nonetheless they acknowledge the demands of
social movements, which is why, unlike in other countries, in the United States, social
movements have greatly impacted the political decisions. Social movements hold
Analysis Of Fantasy Sports
Before we determine if fantasy sports are luck or skills based let s analyze the set up.
First, you deposit a minimum of $25 and play contests. Before you make your
draft of an eight player team you will be given a $60,000 salary cap. This will restrict
you from picking eight of the highest players like Russell Westbrook and James
harden who cost upwards of $12,000 each, living you with playersthat have average
cost of $4000 each. A playerlike James Harden usually consistently drops 60 fantasy
points a night while a player that costs $3000 will not even playand a player that costs
$5,000 averages about 20 fantasy points but will give you 30 and 10 the next night,
thus not dependable. In addition, all of this information is available once... Show

The other ways draftkings has leveled the playing field is by offering different
competitions. For example, the top players usually play the contest with the
biggest rewards. This contests are usually a $3 entry where the winner takes home
half a million dollars and the second place person gets like 250k, 3rd gets like 100k
and so on. The prizes are top heavy meaning only like 20% of the contestants win. In
addition, this contest allow multiple entries so the winner could be first though
fifteen with the same lineup. On average while playing cash games you usually
expect to double your entry with a decent lineup. Cash games that hand out millions
of dollars are more luck than skill because you re competing against thousands of
people but there is more to draftkings than cash
Earl Spencer Eulogy

The Earl Spencer delivers the eulogy at the funeral of his beloved sister, Diana, the
Princess of Wales, who died a sudden, tragic death. Through his pain and sorrow,
The Earl Spencer thanks Diana for her lasting impact on her loved ones and the
world. Rather than dwelling on the loss of Diana, The Earl Spencer stays positive
throughout the speech by effectively sharing who Diana was and her impact on her
loved ones and the world. The Earl Spencer appeals to ethos by sharing how well

Theme Of Appearance Vs Reality In To Kill A Mockingbird
There is always more than what meets the eye; always two sides of the same coin.
As astutely put by Atticus Finch, You never really understand a person until you
consider things from his point of view, [...] until you climb inside of his skin and
walk around in it. In Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird, the theme of hidden
depths and appearance versus reality is pivotal to the development of both the
characters and the plot. The Tom Robinson trial, the events surrounding it, and the
mystery surrounding Boo Radley are prime examples of how appearance may not
always reflect reality, and that one should never base their judgment on another
person based on what they see. Justice is blind , the saying goes. As times go by,

Because of one violent incident in the past, the children see him as a malevolent
phantom , one that terrorizes the city and commits numerous small crimes while
hidden in the darkness of the night. Like Tom Robinson, he too fell victim to
Maycomb s way of passing judgment based on appearance, and was known as a
sociopathic delinquent for most of his time living in the town. Despite remaining
unseen for most of the novel, Boo is shown to have hidden depths; he covers Scout
with a blanket to comfort her after Miss Maudie s house burns down, and risks his
life to save the children during an altercation with Bob Ewell. This is where Scout
finally realizes that Boo was not the malevolent phantom she had thought him to be:
she says, Atticus, he was real nice, to which Atticus replies, Most people are, Scout,
when you finally see them. His underlying friendliness and childlike tendencies are
foreshadowed when he leaves small gifts for the children in the tree hole, and when
Jem returns to the Radley field to find his pants folded and crookedly stitched. It is
through this that the children finally realize what it means to look past appearance
when judging others. The one that had appeared to be deadly and deranged at first

Redeeming Santa Claus
Santa Claus, is known by many names: Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris
Kringle and simply Santa . He is a figure that has been influenced by legend, myth,
folklore and most importantly for our purposes today. He wears red, is pulled
around on a sleigh by a bunch of reindeer and delivers presents to good children on
the 24th of December.
The purpose of my post is not to argue about whether or not to teach kids about the
full on mythical father Christmas; personally I think it is a bad idea to go along with
our culture on this; my friend Clint Archer does a good job of dealing with this
issue, click here to read it.
What I hope to do in this article is see if there is anything about Father Christmas
that can be redeemed. Now before you think my optimistic amillenialism has got the

Don Delillo s White Noise
Why is naming things so hard for humans to do? Why does it matter? What
difference does a name make? These are all questions raised in Don DeLillo s White
Noise. This novel teaches how to deal with these uncertainties in many different
ways. This postmodern take on the human race and their reality of the world
discusses why the naming of things has such a high impact. DeLillo suggests this
matters because it all comes back to simulacrum, perspective, and questions the
reality of these things due to all the different perspectives. The truth is reality does not
change, reality stays the same; it is simply perspective. Ultimately White Noise
allows readers to ponder on the problem of naming and evaluate solutions to the
world of uncertainty. DeLillo uses this postmodern setting to argue that the problem
is not the name of something, it is how the name effects people s perspective and
reminds them that despite the name there is no access to the absolute truth. These
given titles and names engender a certain aura and disposition for themselves that
cause either excitement or disappointment. In Chapter two Jack and Murray travel to
visit a tourist attraction known as the most photographed barn in America (12).

Education in Society Within the speeches The Purpose of Education by Martin
Luther King Jr. and Wiley College vs. Oklahoma City College from the movie The
Great Debaters, there are many different points that can be identified as ethos, pathos,
or logos. Logos In The Purpose of Education, King talks about how even though a
person may be educated it doesn t necessarily mean that they are intelligent. King
mentions Eugene Talmadge, whom of which King believed had a better mind than
many in Georgia, yet Talmadge thought as King as an inferior being, but he was
still considered educated from every logical stand point. Ethos We are prone to let
our mental life become invaded by legions of half truths, prejudices, and
propaganda. Many decisions within a day are controlled and guided by the things
that have already been said to be good . In order to be good and accepted in society
it has to come from source when is credible and reliable but for that to happen
someone has to have their own opinion on a matter but with the education system
the way it is education is bias knowledge. Pathos For the Wiley College vs.

case in support of the resolve. While the negative argued that a black student cannot

Queen Ants
Each ant colony has one or more than one queen ants whose main work is to lay
fertilized eggs. In most species of ants the queen breeds only once in their lifetime and
breeding mainly takes place in summer. Each queen ant can lay about thousands of
eggs per
year. Most of the queens offspring become worker ants that do not reproduce; some
become
new queens and some male ants. When a new queen finds a good place for a nest,
she builds
a small chamber and lays some eggs. When the eggs hatch, the queen finds food, and
feeds
and takes care of the offspring s until they mature. They become workers, and they
take over
all the work in the nest. The queen does nothing but lay eggs. Queen ants live for
several
years and depending on the species of the ant some queens may even live up to 30
years.
Most queen ants develop wings which they use for flying and find a good place to
start a new
colony. Once they ve found a good spot, their wings fall off and they start laying eggs
The Election Of The First African American President
The end of 2008 saw the election of the first African American president in United
States history. This was a momentous occasion for the country, and was seen as in
incredible leap forward for racial equality and the advancement of social equality.
The democratic Barack Obama promised to deliver a series of reforms and bills,
focused on infrastructure, health care, clean energy and education. In his second
inaugural speech four years later, he reiterated these beliefs, adding a special
emphasis in social and racial equality.
Obama s actions and opinions do not exist in a vacuum, but are influenced, approved,
supported and criticized by several government institutions as well as the public.
While reviewing Barack Obama s period as president, it is important to consider the
Senate and Congress role in dismissing or vetoing much of his proposed reforms. In
spite of this, it is clear that change came. Although states change naturally over time,
it would be careless to disregard the importance and influence that Obama and his
presidency has had on the nation and on the larger international community.
In this essay we will strive to show how Barak Obama s two terms in office have
shaped and changed America, comparing the key moments in his presidency with
previous events of a similar nature. This way, we will be able to gauge the true
impact of his policies and interventions, and draw parallels between the challenges
faced by him and his predecessors. In order to do this, we
Pop Culture
In the course of my lifetime, I have witnessed firsthand the erosion of decency
standards in media. In present day it is not unusual to hear swearing on the radio,
nudity in magazines and all of the above on television. Over the course of a few
years it is apparent that societal views on decency have declined immensely. It
appears as if we have evolved from a society aimed at preventing children from
exposure to indecency, to a society in which parental controls are not only
available, but are a necessity. In an even more concerning observation the lower
standard of decency is not only geared towards adults as it is very much apparent on
networks catered to children. The decline in decency standards is also very apparent in

Perhaps the greatest evidence of the eroded decency standards in television, is
Reality TV. In the past few years some of the most popular television shows have
been Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Hell s Kitchen.
While each of those may cater to a different audience they do share an ability to
effectively contribute to the eroding standard of decency. In fact in every one of
those aforementioned shows, foul language can be found. Some shows take it a step
further and incorporate drug themes, and sexual connotations. In an episode of Teen
Mom we viewed examples of Domestic Violence and Prescription drug abuse.
Keeping up with the Kardashians featured an episode in which Khloe Kardashian
was arrested for driving under the influence. It appears that the reality of reality
Television is that foul language, promiscuity and barely there attire is an ongoing
trend. It is quite apparent that we live in a society with a Sex Sells mentality. This
The Necessity Of The Stepmother In A Fairy Tale
Stepmothers are usually looked at in a negative way. The Stepmother from the
story Cinderella, treats Cinderella poorly and acts as if she were her family s slave.
Throughout the fairy tale, the Stepmother shows that she is evil because she is
cruel, because she is selfish, and most importantly because she is biased. Although
the stepmother is evil, that is not what her life goal was, her true motivation for
being evil is that she wants to portray Cinderella s kindness. The Stepmother is
cruel is because she is very mean to her stepdaughter, Cinderella. The story states,
The wedding was hardly over before the woman began to make her stepdaughter s
life misery. This shows that she doesn t care about her stepdaughter, and just wants
to get work out of her. Another way she shows that she is cruel is by she treating
Cinderella like a slave so that her and her daughters will be the best in the land.
Cinderella is always so busy working that she can never leave the house. Finally, the
author states, ...for it was she who ironed their linens and pleated their ruffles. The
fact that she knows this proves that she has been forced to do this by her stepmother

The reader can see this when she makes Cinderella stay in the house the night of
the prince s ball and do every chore that needs to be done. Weather it is as small as

vacuuming the driveway. The author also proves that the Stepmother is selfish when
he says, ... How could I dream of such a thing? This proves that she knows that she
cannot go to the ball because her Stepmother is so strict towards her. Finally, in the
story it says that the Stepmother only wants her and her children to be treated like
royalty, not the King or Cinderella, who are the true
Barangaroo Development
Furthermore, Thomson (2007) states that a better identification for public
participation in planning decisions by distinguishing both the preparation, evaluation
of planning proposals and controls in the deliberations of the project development
through the Australian planning systems is desired. The chances for public
engagement commonly occur in the planning processes and development assessment
procedures that incorporate the community in decision making (Thompson 2007). In
addition, there is a necessity to establish a well planned managementand program
framework, which involve public management decision making platform

During modern times, we can now afford to take pictures of whatever we would

enabled any person who is willing to try, a chance to become an artist.
The availability of electricity and the invention of the first functioning light bulb in
1820 by Warren De La Rue (The History of the Light Bulb 1) changed the way art
is seen and creates. Light can be the focus of the artwork or change the way the art
is seen. The best example of light in artwork is photography. The addition of a light
bulb to create a flash while taking pictures has allowed different environments for
photography by allowing pictures to have a good light source in the front to
counteract any negative lighting, like from the back or too little lighting to allow the
film to develop properly. This allowed artists more freedom to take picture wherever
they are inspired and in normally inadequate lighting. This also prevented the light
from behind the subject from being too strong to create the subject as a shadow, thus
allowing breathtaking photographs that would have not been able to be captured
otherwise. In other ways, lights have been the focal point of art in modern

Science in a Lacrosse Shot Essay
Biomechanics of a Lacrosse Shot Lacrosse is defined as a ball game invented by
American Indians, now played by two teams who try to propel a ball into each
other s goal by means of long handled hooked sticks that are loosely strung with a
kind of netted pouch (Farlex, Inc.). Behind every shot taken in a lacrossegame,
elements of biomechanics are implemented. Biomechanics is the sport science field
that applies the laws of mechanics (movements, body angles, joint positions, etc.),
biomedical engineering, and physics (gravity, forces, velocities, etc.) to athletic
performance (What is 3D Biomechanics).

Without the movement of the lower body, a shot would end up anywhere but the
back of the net. The lower body helps a player produce a straight shot so the ball
winds up leaving the stick in the direction that the shooter intended. Once
accomplishing the motion of your hips, a player must focus on the next link in the
chain, pulling the stick away from his body, preparing to move forward
(accelerate) with a shot. A goalie uses his or her angle of perception to watch the
ball and to make a save. The intent is to hide the head of the stick behind the player
s body to decrease the visibility of the ball to the goalie. The more a shooter hides
the head of the stick the less likely the goalie with stop the ball from accelerating
into the back of the net. When the act of pulling the stick takes place, a shift in
weight occurs. This shift in balance enables the player to release the ball while
allowing his hips and back to recoil and urge the shoot motion in a forward
direction. This forward acceleration causes an increase in the player s velocity, zero
to forward (Russo, 1). Depending on the magnitude of your acceleration depends on
how hard or fast the player pushes off the ground with their foot allowing them to

Qualities Of A Good Friend Essay
One of my favorite part of the song Lean On Me by Bill Withers is a Sometimes in
our lives we all have pain we all have sorrow But if we are wise we know that there
s always tomorrow. In other words, no matter how arduous and challenging life can
be, another better opportunity will be given the next day. In life, people should
identify the difference between the real friends or fake friends. In addition, the
qualities of a good friends are trustworthiness, have good attitude, and last being
thoughtful. To begin with, first quality of a good friend is someone who is
trustworthy. A trustworthy is someone who are honest, loyal, and caring. An example

There is multiple method to become a respectful person. One notorious method is
the use of kind phrase to elders such as no mam, no sir, yes sir, yes mam with a
polite tone of voice. Second method is having a positive and clear mindset at all
times. These two methods are the main characteristic of having good attitude.
Another example of a good friend is someone who have a moral value. A friend
who care his reputation and afraid to lose it. Moral values are something parents
need to educate their children at home. By lecturing the children, the basic values, it
can cause children in young age to understand and learned about moral values. Thus,
an incredible attitude is one relevant characteristic of good friends. Last, the third
quality of a good friend is their thoughtfulness. These types of friends care for one
another by taking time to reminisce birthday, other important events and friend s
situation. One example of thoughtfulness is planning a simple surprise party. Usually
thoughtfulness friends do majority of planning and preparation. They normally look
for places to hold the party. They decide the color skim or sometimes make hand
crafts decoration that gives personal touch ups. An in expansive surprise birthday
party planned by friends really means a lot. Another example of a thoughtful friend
is offering a ride whenever the other person s car broke down. Marco and Jonathan
were both at the football stadium and watching the game live.
American Revolution Causes and Importance
Question: Discuss the causes of the American Revolution. Which cause was most
important? Why? Mariah Gutierrez History 1301 Professor Harris September 29,
2013 The American Revolution was a major war within America that got the United
States their independence and showed others that they were not a weak nation.
There were many causes that lead up to this war and had a great effect on it. The
first war we see is the French and Indian War (1754 1763), also called the Seven
Years War; this war was fought between the French and the British over territory.1
The British were defeated by the French and therefore became an ally with the
Indians, bringing them into the war.2... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The colonists desired to have their own nation, but the British government continued
to place laws and rules over them so they would not lose rule over them. First they
were taxed for printed papers they used, but they did not submit to that law. Next they
were being taxed on imported good, which they also denounced and began to not take
the imported goods from the British (boycott). The colonists were tired of having the
British government ruling over them and not allowing them create their own laws
and systems. They finally took a stand and had created a war that won them their
independence. The end of the war was a time for rejoicing for the Americans proved
that they could stand up for themselves and are a nation of their own. They no longer
needed any one to rule over them, they were able to rule over themselves. From this
war the Americans created many laws and documents pertaining to their
independence and laws to help them better their nation. America is what it is today

Someone Write My Essay

  • 1. Someone Write My Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of "Someone Write My Essay" presents a unique set of challenges that may not be immediately apparent. The very nature of the topic introduces a paradoxical dilemma where the writer is both the protagonist seeking assistance and the narrator tasked with expressing the difficulty of this quest. Firstly, the inherent irony of composing an essay on a plea for someone else to write it is perplexing. The writer must delicately balance a tone that conveys the desperation for help while maintaining a sense of coherence and structure within the essay itself. This requires navigating through a linguistic maze where the boundaries between the self as the author and the self as the subject become blurred. Furthermore, the challenge lies in articulating the struggle and frustration of being in a position where one feels compelled to seek external assistance for the very act of self-expression. It demands a level of introspection and vulnerability that may be uncomfortable to delve into, as the essayist grapples with the admission of needing help in the first place. The essay must navigate the fine line between self-deprecation and earnestness. It's a delicate dance, ensuring that the plea for assistance is genuine while avoiding the pitfall of sounding like a mere ploy for sympathy or an excuse for a lack of effort. In conclusion, tackling the task of writing an essay on the topic of "Someone Write My Essay" requires a careful navigation of irony, introspection, and vulnerability. The writer must skillfully weave through the paradoxical nature of the request, all while maintaining a coherent and engaging narrative. It is an intricate process that demands both self-awareness and a deft command of language. For those seeking relief from such challenges, similar essays and a myriad of other writing tasks can be conveniently ordered on HelpWriting.net, where professional assistance is readily available to transform the complexities of expression into eloquent prose. I judged that it was the most appropriate stages to dive in among the four stages of internationalization considering the company s situation and attitude. In the staffing context, I recommend Winch It to take the ethnocentric approach in the staffing context and the balance sheet approach in international compensation. Finally, in international performance management, I listed several issues need to be concerned and suggested adopt not TCN role conception but PCN role conception . • 3. The History of Urticaria Essay The history of urticaria is a fascinating account of mankind gradually growing to understand human diseases. The process starts with the many different names this disease has been given to in the past. The school of Hippocrates in 4th century BC recognized urticaria with nettles. The roman school instead focused on its burning sensation and is where Plinius named it uredo. In the 10th century, Hali Ben Abbas used the name essera because it means mountain or elevation, alluding that the welt is above skin level. In 18th century, Zelder called it urticatio, and in 1792, urticariawas the accepted name. Chronic hives last longer and tend to become an annoyance with the itchiness or with how it looks on the skin. • 6. Ben Jonson Research Paper Ben Jonson is a poet, who, although not widely known, he is still known as one of the poets associated with William Shakespeare. He did star in a play (Every Man in His Humour) with William Shakespeare, which made him an instant celebrity. Conversely, he did have countless dilemmas with the police, which did influence his writing greatly. Ben Jonsons life began in London on June 11, 1572. His father died before he was born, but his mother remarried. Jonson went to school at Westminster School. before joining his stepfather in the bricklaying trade. Bricklaying did not suit Jonson so, as an outcome, he went to the army and soon joined a theater company run by Philip Henslowe and was arrested for acting in a seditious satire called The Isle of Dogs. In 1598 Jonson killed an actor named Gabriel Spencer in a duel, and he was arrested and tried at the Old Bailey on a charge of murder. Narrative essay tells a story or experience about my own personal experience to send an important message to the audience. I also learned that narrative essay does not have to tell a story but also to tell what I learned from that particular experience. The second essay we did in this course is cause and effect and the topic I chose was the major cause of school shootings. Before writing about this topic, I learned that organizing my essay will help me a lot to completing my essay. After picking a topic, I learned that it is important to research about my topic because I have little knowledge about school shootings. I started by making a list of possible effects related to the cause to help me with my topic. I then analyze the effects on the list I made and pick three that can have a strong argument to my topic and made this as my main points of my essay. By doing this, it will help me breakdown my topic. The most importing thing I learned when researching in many different sources is to include references and sources on my paper. This is very important because I want the reader to know that I am giving credit to the original source. I also learned major formatting styles where I learned how to properly cite sources in different styles like APA and MLA formats. I used MLA format for my citations because it was the easiest one to understand. The third essay we did in this class was argumentation and the topic I chose was

There was such a large number of back applauding and congrats around the against fetus removal. They had succeeded in sparing the lives of the several pure unborn children who might have been foolishly butchered for the accommodation of narrow minded, insensible, and untrustworthy ladies. In light of this new law, ladies might settle down and raise families or give these delightful youngsters over under the control of the many cherishing couples who were simply sitting tight for a child to call their own. It appeared that the ideal law had barely been passed. On the other hand had it? It has been demonstrated time and time again all around history that the human soul won t permit restriction. • 10. Honey Bee Disappearing A Bee line Towards Extinction The worker bee, the most common type of honey bee and the one most people encounter, is an insect who surprisingly keeps the world afloat. Bees provide food, renewable resources, and pollination for the ecosystem for over a hundred million years. However, these hard workers are disappearing for reasons outside of standard instances. Scientists call this predicament Colony Collapse Disorder, or CCD for short, and it is affecting all life on Earth. For example, since 2006, bee keepers lost over 30% of their colony. The only acceptable loss was 15%. In 2015, bee keepers lost 44% of their honey bees through CCD. More and more loses are occurring this year and millions of beehives have been lost since 2006. Many... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... An example of this is foulbrood, a bacteria that kills the brood and produces spores that must be burned to improve chances of colony survival. Another example of this is Nosema, a illness that infects the intestinal tracts when waste cannot be removed during winter. There are some measures a beekeeper can take to prevent this calamity. However, some are debatable, such as providing nutrient lacking sugar water and burning hives, causing issues either way. Climate change is another factor that is affecting bees. Due to how temperatures are rising, the cycle of bees collecting pollen and flowers blooming are not synchronized, leading to both organisms not receiving what they need. Both the plants and the insects have relied on each other for millions of years and to have it suddenly change might endanger all life on earth. Speaking of sudden change, it is important to remember that bees are also under stress, which is caused by these changes. Between all of these factors combined, bees can t sustain themselves, leading to beekeepers to order more bees. This causes even more stress due to moving, which in turn increases the risk of death and disease. Thus, the endless cycle continues until there are no bees
  • 11. How I Will Structure My Lesson Discussion 2 On how I will structure my lesson will be based on the student s maturity and how familiar they are with the material. If the class as a whole has behavior issues such as a lot of talking, not focusing on the task at had. I will be more apt to use Teacher centered lessons. This allows me to control classroom management and know where the progress of the class is. If the class is capable of less supervision than I would use a Student centered lesson approach. Another aspect that would determine what approach I would use on how I would structure my lessons would be how new the material is to the students. I think it would be unproductive to give the students the lead and have them problem solve a topic that they never heard of. Now if these students have been introduced to this content earlier in the year or in another class prior to this one. Then it would be appropriate for them to self teach or research on their own. If I was using Teacher centered instruction I would more apt to use whole groups instruction. This allows me to efficiently lecture, pass on information and content. If I had a class where I decided to use student centered instruction I would use small group instruction. Student center instruction is meant for the student to be more engaged in problem solving and research. According to Burden and Byrd (2013), small groups enable students to be more actively engaged in learning , the more the student is participating in gathering of content

Because of its high status, not many people questioned the Church. However, this all changed during the Renaissance. As discussed in document 5, the church basically only existed for money. They did this by selling indulgences and collecting money from the wealthy. People saw the corruption within the church and many were not happy. Martin Luther, a German monk and religious reformer, is thought to have started the Protestant Reformation. One of Luther s boldest acts against the Church was translating the Bible into German. This meant people could listen to God s word and form their own opinions, something not previously possible during the Middle Ages. The political culture of individualism functions within the framework of invisible complexities, and, as a result, discourages people from engaging in political actions. This novel teaches how to deal with these uncertainties in many different ways. This postmodern take on the human race and their reality of the world discusses why the naming of things has such a high impact. DeLillo suggests this matters because it all comes back to simulacrum, perspective, and questions the reality of these things due to all the different perspectives. The truth is reality does not change, reality stays the same; it is simply perspective. Ultimately White Noise allows readers to ponder on the problem of naming and evaluate solutions to the world of uncertainty. • 33. The Election Of The First African American President The end of 2008 saw the election of the first African American president in United States history. This was a momentous occasion for the country, and was seen as in incredible leap forward for racial equality and the advancement of social equality. The democratic Barack Obama promised to deliver a series of reforms and bills, focused on infrastructure, health care, clean energy and education. In his second inaugural speech four years later, he reiterated these beliefs, adding a special emphasis in social and racial equality. Obama s actions and opinions do not exist in a vacuum, but are influenced, approved, supported and criticized by several government institutions as well as the public. While reviewing Barack Obama s period as president, it is important to consider the Senate and Congress role in dismissing or vetoing much of his proposed reforms. In spite of this, it is clear that change came. Although states change naturally over time, it would be careless to disregard the importance and influence that Obama and his presidency has had on the nation and on the larger international community. In this essay we will strive to show how Barak Obama s two terms in office have shaped and changed America, comparing the key moments in his presidency with previous events of a similar nature. This way, we will be able to gauge the true impact of his policies and interventions, and draw parallels between the challenges faced by him and his predecessors. In order to do this, we

In present day it is not unusual to hear swearing on the radio, nudity in magazines and all of the above on television. Over the course of a few years it is apparent that societal views on decency have declined immensely. It appears as if we have evolved from a society aimed at preventing children from exposure to indecency, to a society in which parental controls are not only available, but are a necessity. In an even more concerning observation the lower standard of decency is not only geared towards adults as it is very much apparent on networks catered to children. In the past few years some of the most popular television shows have been Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Hell s Kitchen. While each of those may cater to a different audience they do share an ability to effectively contribute to the eroding standard of decency. In fact in every one of those aforementioned shows, foul language can be found. Some shows take it a step further and incorporate drug themes, and sexual connotations. In an episode of Teen Mom we viewed examples of Domestic Violence and Prescription drug abuse. Keeping up with the Kardashians featured an episode in which Khloe Kardashian was arrested for driving under the influence. It appears that the reality of reality Television is that foul language, promiscuity and barely there attire is an ongoing trend. It is quite apparent that we live in a society with a Sex Sells mentality. This
  • 35. The Necessity Of The Stepmother In A Fairy Tale Stepmothers are usually looked at in a negative way. The Stepmother from the story Cinderella, treats Cinderella poorly and acts as if she were her family s slave. Throughout the fairy tale, the Stepmother shows that she is evil because she is cruel, because she is selfish, and most importantly because she is biased. Although the stepmother is evil, that is not what her life goal was, her true motivation for being evil is that she wants to portray Cinderella s kindness. The Stepmother is cruel is because she is very mean to her stepdaughter, Cinderella. The story states, The wedding was hardly over before the woman began to make her stepdaughter s life misery. This shows that she doesn t care about her stepdaughter, and just wants to get work out of her. Another way she shows that she is cruel is by she treating Cinderella like a slave so that her and her daughters will be the best in the land. The author also proves that the Stepmother is selfish when he says, ... How could I dream of such a thing? This proves that she knows that she cannot go to the ball because her Stepmother is so strict towards her. Finally, in the story it says that the Stepmother only wants her and her children to be treated like royalty, not the King or Cinderella, who are the true

The availability of electricity and the invention of the first functioning light bulb in 1820 by Warren De La Rue (The History of the Light Bulb 1) changed the way art is seen and creates. Light can be the focus of the artwork or change the way the art is seen. The best example of light in artwork is photography. The addition of a light bulb to create a flash while taking pictures has allowed different environments for photography by allowing pictures to have a good light source in the front to counteract any negative lighting, like from the back or too little lighting to allow the film to develop properly. This allowed artists more freedom to take picture wherever they are inspired and in normally inadequate lighting. This also prevented the light from behind the subject from being too strong to create the subject as a shadow, thus allowing breathtaking photographs that would have not been able to be captured otherwise. In other ways, lights have been the focal point of art in modern The first

Science in a Lacrosse Shot Essay Biomechanics of a Lacrosse Shot Lacrosse is defined as a ball game invented by American Indians, now played by two teams who try to propel a ball into each other s goal by means of long handled hooked sticks that are loosely strung with a kind of netted pouch (Farlex, Inc.). Behind every shot taken in a lacrossegame, elements of biomechanics are implemented. Biomechanics is the sport science field that applies the laws of mechanics (movements, body angles, joint positions, etc.), biomedical engineering, and physics (gravity, forces, velocities, etc.) to athletic performance (What is 3D Biomechanics). Without the movement of the lower body, a shot would end up anywhere but the back of the net. The lower body helps a player produce a straight shot so the ball winds up leaving the stick in the direction that the shooter intended. Once accomplishing the motion of your hips, a player must focus on the next link in the chain, pulling the stick away from his body, preparing to move forward (accelerate) with a shot. A goalie uses his or her angle of perception to watch the ball and to make a save. The intent is to hide the head of the stick behind the player s body to decrease the visibility of the ball to the goalie. The more a shooter hides the head of the stick the less likely the goalie with stop the ball from accelerating into the back of the net. When the act of pulling the stick takes place, a shift in weight occurs. This shift in balance enables the player to release the ball while allowing his hips and back to recoil and urge the shoot motion in a forward direction. This forward acceleration causes an increase in the player s velocity, zero to forward (Russo, 1). Depending on the magnitude of your acceleration depends on how hard or fast the player pushes off the ground with their foot allowing them to make the initial forward progress. Without the push off the ground, no forward movement would be possible. In lacrosse, we want a quick sprint to goal to dodge the opponents and

Mariah Gutierrez History 1301 Professor Harris September 29, 2013 The American Revolution was a major war within America that got the United States their independence and showed others that they were not a weak nation. There were many causes that lead up to this war and had a great effect on it. The first war we see is the French and Indian War (1754 1763), also called the Seven Years War; this war was fought between the French and the British over territory.1 The British were defeated by the French and therefore became an ally with the Indians, bringing them into the war.2... The colonists were tired of having the British government ruling over them and not allowing them create their own laws and systems.
